Finally got this thing… so freakin' awesome...
I also finally figured out the matching trick for Serif Koma, which will be saving me ALOT of time.
Now I just need to get... everything else... and Afro Luffy! XD
Actually, he is actually in his DBF suit when you do that? O.o -
He only puts on his DBF stuff when you use a special.
-
Finally got 7-Panel Don Patchi so all I need is the Serif Koma for Sasuke and to match that to Sasuke help and the Sharingan symbol, then get 655 thus unlocking 7-Panel Goku, matching the Serif to Goku, Vegeta and the Potara Earring Help Komas.
Also, do battles only count in unlocking 7-Panel Koma or can you do missions as well?
-
I'm pretty sure missions count. What I did to help speed it up was go on one of those missions where you can't get hit and lose them a couple of times, easy
-
A WINNER IS ME!
I have obtained all 657 Koma in the game. Including all the 7-Panel Koma.
Shame that I can't play anyone at it.
-
I'm still trying to figure out whether I should buy this game or not. In general I'm not a fan of Jump comics nor a fan of licence games but yet I hear only praises and I do regard SSBM as the best figthing game since vanilla/super/turbo SF II. The conflict! Besides there're too many other games I wish to play.
-
Wow, I think this is the best fighting game…so much variety!
-
do i see a jump super villans eh eh. that and a sequeal
The OP and DBZ villans are far too powerful, and are likely to be toned down for gameplay reasons. I mean, come on; Freeza alone can destroy a planet, and Croc/Eneru can produce unlimited amounts of their sand/electricty.

Poo… still, AFRO LUFFY! XD

Well, obviously. There was a load of toning down in JSS.

@Cap'n:

Well, I think that Luffy could take down Goku…
-
That may be true, but do you really think Nami could?

Hey, menu question (I restarted my game.)
What part of the menu tells how many battles you've fought?
I still can't read Japanese and haven't obtained any 7-Koma yet and I'm wondering why (originally I got Luffy before I reached the Bleach stages but I just beat those so now I'm lost.)
-
why did you restart??? (jw) Also it seems hard doing the empty characters thing….im nervous Getting the game 2 weeks from now.

I restarted for the same reason Ryuk dropped the Death Note, I was bored.
The Serif Koma is actually easy if you have Mister GameFAQs to help you.

Here's what I did.
Do them right away, while you know what series they belong to.
Example: Finish the Dragonball stage: Get the Koma: Try everyone everywhere.
You probably won't have too many, and most will work. Some you might have to wait for later though.

(Don't know if you've solved this)
On the main screen, where you can choose Jump Adventure and such, and you can see some of your characters on the left, choose the bottom right option. Your battle count is on the bottom there.

Ive been looking at the ign guide and im wondering for the missions it has like 4 list of requirments do i have to fulfill the requirments all in one thing to pass
ex:
clear the stage
Clear the stage without using the b button
clear the stage with out using the y button
clear the stage by have 20 hits on your opponet -
NDS emulators still can't really play it, right when the first fight starts you can't do anything, just watch these 2 screwed up boxes move slightly.

You just need to clear it how ever it tells you to, like "collect 20 pieces of healing items" and depending how you do it, you may clear the extras. For the example you had, it's simple to just use the X button and you'll fulfill all of those extras. Fulfilling extras will give you more character panels and empty panels to fill up for your deck.
This game is so much fun, and I really do reccomend importing it.
-
yeah i have the game. SO i figured it out. I have 6 custom decks. 2 and 6 and my favorite.(i'll 2 list later)
6:
luffy (4 koma)
arale (5 koma or 4 i forget)
goku (6 koma)
killua (support)
gon(help) -
The deck I ususally use is my One Piece one.
Zoro (5 koma)
Luffy (7 koma)
Sanji (2 koma)
Nami (2 koma)
Chopper (2 koma)
Usopp
Robin
It's the whole gang ^_^Overall my favourite character to use is actually Arale, I love using her 6 koma. Damn powerful. I was dissappointed with Kakashi, he was really… sucky.
-
I made a simular deck, "Nakama", except it had
Five Koma Zoro
One Koma Sanji
Four Koma Luffy
Five Koma Nami
Two Koma Ussop
Two Koma Robin
One Koma ChopperHowever my favourite has to be "7 Power" which has both Afro Luffy and Bankai Ichigo, as well as the characters that support them.
-
Sanji + Kabuki + lotsa women koma = OWN'd.
-
Is Kabuki the hero from Buso Renkin?

Maybe… it's the guy with the giant spear he rockets around on.
-
yeah thats him sanji and him also do a combo move with him. Stupid ign guide only gave me the main missions to compelte and gamfaqs guide is like 50 billion pages long and i dont want to waste that much paper =/.
oh well this is still a kickass game. I love using gon though i wish he was stornger. (I use the pre made deck of his i havent unlocked his 4-7 koma)
-
Gon doesn't have a 7-Koma.
The only characters that have 7-Koma are Luffy, Ichigo, Goku, Naruto, Bo-bobo, Sasuke, and Don Pachi (just found out that's how you pronounce it.)
-
Maybe… it's the guy with the giant spear he rockets around on.
I think it is. I am aware of the strategy behind their deck, but frankly I'm happy with my Luffy/Ichigo 7 Koma deck.
-
I made a pretty good one piece deck.
7 Luffy
4 Zoro
5 Sanji
2 Usopp
1 chopper
1 robinI would haave liked to include 5 zoro because hes better than the 4 version but he wouldnt fit. And 5 koma sanji's combos are just to good to pass up.

I have like eight decks, anyways.
My best currently is "Mugiwara no Kaizoku", featuring 6-panel Luffy, 5-panel Sanji, and 4-panel Zoro. The rest of the koma are all girls.
Another good one I have is my 6-panel Yo and 5-panel Ichigo one (including combo koma).
-
Wow, everyone has a OP deck. Might as well post mine.
7 Luffy
5 Robin
2 Usopp
2 Sanji
2 Chopper
1 Zoro
1 NamiSet up so Luffy's on the bottom left, boosted by bottom right Usopp and Zoro above Usopp.
Chopper's above Zoro, with Sanji on the left, followed by Robin. Nami fills in the gap left.
Luffy is boosted by Robin, Zoro and Usopp, giving him a hp boost of about a 10th. Robin is boosted by Sanji and Nami, giving her a small boost. -

I like the 7-panel Luffy Koma, but I found it seems to be a better strategy to use his 6-panel one in my deck. More fighters, more room for increasing J-Power, and Golden Rifle is a quicker, strong attack that can take out several opponents easily.
-
I'm not to keen on Luffy's 6-panel myself. I love his 4-panel for the Gattling Gun, Pistol (?) and Bazooka combo. I use that one the most and can at times do most of the fighting with it. The 5-panel has Storm which I quite like, especally if I can pin my opponent against the ceiling. And his 7-panel has some great moves, again especally if I can pin my opponent next to a wall. Granted I haven't really tried using his 6-panel much but generally I like moves that hit multiple times and none of the 6-panel ones do that (or at least when I tested them).
-
True, I just found it's a good way to balance the deck with his 6-panel instead of 7, though yes, I do like each of the others for their own specials.
-
Fair enough. Normally I just use his four Koma in that sort of situation and use the strength of others to back him up. For example I have a Luffy/Goku/Naruto deck (3 Heroes) where Goku and Naruto are linked up. I think Naruto is six and Goku is five. I mainly use those two to back up Luffy if it gets to hectic for him or if I want to do their tag team attack.
-
Hate to bump an old topic but I don't know where else to ask.
Where can I find JSS Sprites? I'm thinking of writing a story and collaberating with someone to make a Flash movie.
