Naruto airs pretty much uncut bar cigs and language. So yeah, it's far superior to OP in that aspect.

I don't know about you guys, but I don't really notice an absence of blood or anything, since I'm not really comparing the dub episode to the original for changes. Plus, I haven't seen most episode of the anime anyway.

Does One Piece air in the United Kingdom? If so, don't they generally get episodes before America does? (I've noticed that with alot of different shows)

The last thing we want is moar people BAAAAWing over how Naruto gets away with a helluva lot moar than One Piece even though Naruto was cut all to hell in the beginning as well. -
I'm gonna agree with Mr. All Sunday here. I don't think the lack of blood makes the show worse in any way. I still thought Luffy punching Bellamy was just as awesome as I thought it was when I first saw it subbed. I've yet to see any edits that have really stood out or seemed odd to me.
Besides, it wasn't the lack of blood that made the 4kids version bad. It was the bad writing and voice actors. Those have both been fixed (apart from a few out of characters lines, but that's to be expected, seeing as the writers have just started on the show).

BELIEVE IT is the greatest quote in Naruto dub, hahaha, but too bad they took it off a long time ago (like seriously what the hell does Dayttabeyo means)? Anyway, I can think of 25 dubs that I had seen that are absolutely brilliant (dont feel like saying it today though, hahaha)

Well, blood does a add bit of direness or intensity to certain scenes. The lack of it hasn't hurt any, but I hope we'll get at least a little more blood in the future. Pirates do bleed after all. :P
EDIT: Yeah, Dattebayo doesn't mean anything. It's a nonsense word put at the end of Naruto's sentences (or -tebayo at the end of words) to make his manner of speech sound a bit crude and informal or to add emphasis to certain words.

Yes the blood isn't necessary. But it does drastically increase the drama of situations.

Well, I can actually think of one reason in episode one where it was acceptable.
"You can do this Naruto, believe it." just as he was about to do the Sexy Jutsu.AAAAAAnyway, tonight's One Piece should be a good one.
