I think I've mentioned this before, but Dudley was my favorite character in TS, so I'm quite pleased. Although I would have preferred new characters over Guy, Cody, or Adon.

Can't they always add more characters later via DLC? They are re-releasing the game due to the sheer amount of changes, but just new characters should be simple enough for DLC.

I'm quite happy. I like to do it dirty so I'm most excited about Cody. But I can't fathom why anybody would prefer Cody wearing jeans and a plain white t-shirt. Seriously? Rolento would had been an icing on the cake but I don't think he has a chance to appear in this version anymore. Six confirmed characters. Plus Ibuki seems pretty much indirectly confirmed. There isn't much room left.

But I do remember them saying that each character will now have two supers and they are going to implement air supers in the game.

Nostalgic value. I mean, we got Mike Haggar as Zangeif's alternate and Guy looks the same as he did in Final Fight.
I honestly hope that comes as an alternate outfit personally.

I've often wondered about that myself; seems like being supported by people who only want you there so the world can end in fire (with you going to Hell in the process) would be somewhat off-putting

There was already 2 stages that are new that they shown. An Indian Stage with like elephants walking and falling around and than a construction site where Hugo making a cameo.

I really like the new stages. Actually, those two stages really look better than any stage in SFIV. At least that's my current impression. I might think differently once the game is out. But especially Indian stage looked very sexy.

Reading about Cody in Alpha 3, I hope his knife won't be just a useless gimmick (losing it after taking a hit makes it useless, especially since you can lose it if you trade hits).
The build shown in the recent Famitsu X-Box 360 show had all but the 4 remaining characters and didn't seem to have many gameplay changes shown it.
Either way I am psyched for this game X3
I wonder how Ibuki will play in this game? They'll most likely use her SF3: 3S movelist, but even then she'll prob. be a hard character to use, like Viper.Also, T. Hawk's super= best SF4 super evar @3@

Actually she would be 13/14, as I read that Super SF4 takes place in 1995; a year after SF4 (1994).
What you prob. should be worried more about is how she'll play.Which reminds; they better redo the Stun in SS4; the fact that it benefited the opposition when they get stunned, a lot more than you is ridiculous.

I also hope they improve the wake-up game, because that was probably my biggest complaint with the game: it was too damn easy to get hit while getting back on your feet.

But Shadow? If that's referring to Charlie when he was brainwashed as Agent Shadow, that's awesome! The sonic boom comment just makes me believe it more.

Don't get your hopes up yet; I myself felt that info seemed incorrect somewhat (especially on Shadow).
Right now I'm reading that that info I mentioned may be false (there is nothing about Super SF4 in the Dec. 24th issue of Famitsu ;.; it seems)
Non the less, I wish there was some info about Super SF4, even if it's gameplay changes; I NEED MY DOSE PEOPLE! @3@

At any rate, of the 3 SF3 characters to be in SSF4, I'm hoping for Elena instead of Makoto, not that I have anything against Makoto (she's one of my fav. SF characters).

I don't think that April is a given date it will release, Kotaku just posted an article stating that Capcom is looking to delay and spread out it's 2010 releases so they don't have as much competion; starting April 2010. Here's the link:

Can't blame them. Early spring has become the new late fall and there is like so many big games getting released. But you would think SSFIV would sell anyway.
Getting pushed back by a little might not be a bad thing if it mean they have more time to give the game a tiny bit more extra balancing/polishing.
At this point I'm really surprised if Dudley, Makoto, Ibuki and Hakam aren't going to be in this game.

ive only played up to SF III as of today on PS2

Oro can do some crazy stuff in the right hands-
OYI8wYmcGwk12 is all about that air dash, EX moves and getting a quick hit in while avoid getting hit as best as possible.
I personally think Q would fit fine in SF4, barring that he doesn't get his defense increased by taunting :P

Nope, Fei's Focus Attack is just turn punch of sorts (sorry dunno how best to describe it ^_^; )
…but that trailer was wicked, Mazangief looks pretty cool, though Dictator Cammy is...well I think it could've been better (what is up with Capcom and not covering her legs?!)
Fei's Ultra was cool, but Ryu's new ultra needs to be sped up somewhat.
Ken's was prob. the lamest IMO, but I'm looking forward for them to make it better by the game's release.
Speaking of which that rumor list seems to be true more and more now; air ultras confirmed and such.EDIT: OK Juri fighting while hanging to the ceiling....she ain't the first to do that, even if it was just a cutscene ;3

As cool as FeiLong's Ultra looks, I really can't think of any way to combo into it from any of his current special moves =/
I mean is it a grab ultra like Zangief's or has an unblockable short range attack for the kick? I can't think of any ways to combo into it, unless they implement how Abel can combo into his Ultra from his Crouching Hard Punch… -
