Haha, there's another thread by me buried somewhere but the title was too depressing. It was also before I started using a scanner, so it's shitty mouse drawings too! Search it up if you want a laugh at someone else's expense.

Anyway, I seem to like drawing circles. Hell, my little avatar is pretty much a circle (which came out of my inability to draw a sunflower with a mouse, which I can do now). Now these first few have already been posted in the critique thread, but I'll be a whore and put them in here as well.

This first spoiler has all three pictures I put in the critique thread.

And more practice while trying to keep in mind what was told to me (but mostly just fuckin' around). But Cloverz' body still seems inconsistent…

i think the sitting infront of the bar thing is because of the wierd way you draw clovers legs. =P (possibly the angle of the body and the arm too)

(is it my monitor that needs more contrast or are your first four scans a bit on the weak side?)

love the e1n depiction but i dont think he will look that serious (or mad) when looking at your stuff =P

Your monitor's fine, those were drawn lightly (which bar are you talking about, one in particular or both?).

And e1n would be very serious. For every mistake I make it's another kick to the nuts. >P

first bar thingy since you seem to have defined the knees above the ass on the second one. as well as haveing a straight back (well its hidden behind the arm but im assumeing its straight) and the arm isnt holding onto the bar.

AWSOME STUFF MAN! quite enjoyable to see something different.
that puppy thing is cute, that hand is crazy, and the tank is really well done.
You really have a knack, solar for seeing how things work and move. Even if you need more practice drawing a figure, you understand it's movement very well. It comes out really well in your drawings.

i think that thing is an ant bug ^^. Ants gotta have pets too. Looks good to me. I don't see anything wrong with that guys eyes….

your legs, the prespective is off. one is too short. yes, the legs are technicaly the same size, but when drawing them, one is closer, so it's gonna apear a bit bigger/longer.

You know what I think you should do; gesture drawing. do lots of gesture drawings
go get a pad of paper, and give yourself 30sec or 1min, to draw the "movement" of the drawing. If your not really sure what to do, google some examples.

If you're going to learn proportion you need to work more on stuff like this post. It's ridiculously hard to actually draw a cartoon while being proportionate, especially since proportion isn't even a big deal to them.

But yeah, you're art isn't bad at all, and fun to look at, which isn't really a quality that many people have. It's obvious you like to draw, though, so keep going!

I kinda disagree with you on that. The proportions are still there, just exaggerated. I kinda want my stuff to look like it… how should I put it... would work if it were animated (the notes in my first post are a good example of what I mean). But then again I'm not an artist and don't plan to become one, just kinda anal I guess.

Sorry if that didn't make much sense, I can't really explain things that well.

Oh, I was wondering why you said that since the only non-living thing in the last picture I posted was a cigar. They normally end up looking like joints for some reason.

Instead of posting one somewhat worthwhile drawing, here's a bunch of doodles over the past… I think two weeks. First off, several tiny drawings from school (which is what I've mostly drawn).

Next off are two smaller doodles, the first from last week and the second from today.

And finally something from my sketchbook that I did at home. Something about it looks different than normal (and yeah, the hairstyle's pretty faggy).

Now if I just focus on Franky (the one with the thick eyebrows), first thing I'd point out is that the eyes look kinda tilted. Next off is the whole left arm. It could probably stand to be a bit shorter, and his pointing figure looks a bit awkward (but then again Rolas is the only one that can make fingers, so I s'pose you could say that's a slip-up on my part).

Wouldn't say it's pointless, and it's definately better than some cut-and-paste comment saying how good a drawing is regardless of whether it's actually good that plagues the creativity board. Any kind of advice is welcome, even if it isn't "OH YOU SHOULD DO THIS". I'd like to think that I'm not the only person who thinks that (about the plague anyway). ^^;

So I was goofing off in class today instead of finishing this java program for my programming class, when one of my friends saw what I was drawing. I told him before that I would draw him a request after trying to pull off a prank on this one faggot, as long as it wasn't sexual.

First off is an updated drawing of something I drew in December of 2006.

Second is something I drew out of the blue for New Pork City. It started off as a drawing of Cloverz running, but I added the spider monster to make it look less empty. Unfortunately, the spider stands out more than Cloverz. =/
