Well, if you're going to make this personal, you basically post pictures of yourself in pretty much the same suit with one of two shirts every day (and you just recently posted your COSPLAY BAKE SALE stuff in both your own cosplay thread and then in here). No one else does that. I'm not telling you to stop posting your pictures, just to put them under a cut if there are a lot of them; this applies to everyone. It's a lot to scroll through every single time they visit the thread and not everyone has lightning fast internet connections.

ahem. this one goes to everyone who posts in this thread.
posting a lot of pictures without spoiler tags tend to make the page load slower. and sometimes it can mess up certain forum functions, so let's do it this way, cosplayers:
if you're going to include more than 1 picture on your post, only the first picture can be OUTSIDE the spoiler tag. think of it as a preview picture. the rest of the pictures you post MUST BE spoiler tagged. this way we don't have to wait a long time for the entire page to load.

It was actually! SavetheQueen ran it. We only had an hour though, so a few of us took the discussion to one of the quieter stairwells, ended up ordering in pizza and continued it for about 2 and a half hours afterwards.

Good lord, I just wanted you to put pictures under a cut. Get over it. D: I enjoy seeing everyone's pictures ONCE, and will go back to see them again if I really want to. I just don't want to have to load and scroll through all of them every time I go to a page. My internet sucks.
And if you don't like my cosplay then don't look at my thread end of story.
Uh, that's kind of the point, this ISN'T just one person's thread. I always considered it more of a general thread for sharing ideas and tips and stuff, so I frequent it for that reason. I also check your thread to see what you've been working on because I like to see when someone posts something new, but not multiple times, which is why it's frustrating seeing them again in this thread without a cut. I don't see why this is so hard to understand.

Well, why were you talking about your individual thread when I was specifically addressing only this one?
And I wasn't singling you out in the first place, my initial post on the subject was a general request to everyone that they cut crossposted images. It only became about you when you took it personally and got defensive. Pass the Rootbeer was the only one who had specifically mentioned you, as far as I recall, and that was just because you hadn't put a space between two images so they were stretching the forum layout.

Even if everybody does "that", doesn't it mean it's the right thing. It's like the same thing of say that we should use drugs because almost everyone uses them.
And yeah, I agree that putting pics without spoiler tags is annoying and troublesome. Not everybody has a good connection speed.

I don't care about putting the images in spoiler tags. (I know how to do it.) I just wish I'd figured out that everyone had changed how they were posting BEFORE I posted shit.
And dude posting images is not the same as doing drugs or not. Its more like I'm wearing close that are way out of fashion or something. Though cosplay is addictive.

I was inspoired by a panel this weekend to redo my Zoro swords to be a bit more stury and realistic using bokken, sandpaper, paint, and copious amounts of wonderflex. Here's hoping it works out okay!

and OMFG PirateNeko and Ms. Cricket we DEFINATELY need to put together a CP9 group, like 90% girls cosplaying guys… that's usually how it happens LOL I miss you two already it was so FUN! I would post more pictures but I havn't resized anything ^^; and yes... Youshi you should DEFINATELY redo the swords! Not cause the ones you have look bad, but I'll bet you'd have alot of fun making them!!

I have FAR too many cosplays in mind that I wish I could work on but I know for a FACT that I'm cosplaying Sarquis to complement my sis's Bellamy (even if I'll look HORRIBLE cause I'm not girly pretty like Sarquis LOL ). I have the glasses… and yeah that's it x_x;

I think I prefer being Zoro to being Shanks (even though I love being Shanks). I think it's a combination of the costume being easier to move in, and I get to be unlike myself in personality for a while.
You guys should have seen me Saturday night. I was SOOOOOO SURLY and dour and in a pissed off mood…wore my bandana all night. I think we got a picture.

Oh man, I know what you mean D: I have a list of all the costumes I want to eventually do and since I'm currently stuck at school without a sewing machine or… money, um, those aren't exactly happening. So the list keeps getting longer and it's kind of depressing because obviously I'm never going to get all this stuff done.

I think the worst thing for me is that I start buying pieces for costumes and then I get distracted or something and don't finish them so I have like, pieces of fabric or wigs that I spent good money on just sitting around. Last December I bought and dyed fabric for Van Auger's shirt, I cut out the pieces in January, and then… um... I never touched it again. I SWEAR I'll get that one done by summer though.
I was also going to do Rosella from King's Quest VII once over a year ago, but halfway through I decided I didn't really think the pattern or fabric I'd gotten were accurate, so I still have half a dress lying around in a bag somewhere at my mom's house.
