Nah, fighting Bon Kurei as Mini-Boss won't unlock him.
The only way to get him is in Boss Rush. Once you beat him there, he'll be unlocked even if you don't complete the whole thing.

Yup - To get 100% you need
Make every Sanji Dish twice
Make every Usopp/Franky building schematic
Make every Chopper Medicine
Unlock all moves to lvl 10 (including specials)
Unlock all 3 team specials (Brook+Robin+Nami+Usopp, Usopp+Chopper, Luffy+Zoro)
Explore every island 100%
Catch every bug/land creature
Catch every fish
Beat the game on Normal, Hard and Very Hard modes
Beat every Optional Boss at least once
Beat Boss Rush in both Normal and Hard modes (ie. Using items, Items not allowed)
Read every monument
Build every bridge, ladder and tunnel
Collect all map pieces for all 10 maps
Collect every treasure
Don't think there's anything else

I didn't know you had to make them twice, that might explain why I'm missing 1%.
That's right - You need to make each at least twice, somehow because of the diminishing returns, since they probably expect the player to make simple dishes for every character -
Diminishing returns in Ep2 get reset when you restart again (same or different difficulty), but in Ep1 it stays regardless - which is why Seaking Farming was just such a pain in Ep1. Also Ep2 gives bigger bonuses for food than Ep1 did, plus certain characters get higher boosts in Ep2 for specific food
ie - Chopper gets a higher boost for Cotton Candy
Luffy gets a higher boost for Pirate's Lunch
Franky gets a higher boost for Special Pirate Soda
etc

Thanks for the tips, I just don't trust myself enough with all of that. I'm getting either a 42" or 46" inch multi-system plasma, a PAL Wii and 4 games (OP:UC games included, All PAL-Europe). For around $1200, and the sellers all said they would ship to America. So it's all but a done deal, only awaiting the money. I haven't completely got down the second game yet, but it's also not all that hard to find. Quite a bit of money, but I was looking for a new television anyways, might as well get one now. And I don't mind paying a little money out of my account, as long as I enjoy the items.

Agreed - as long as you follow it to the letter, it's not too hard - there are some very good websites around - Depends on your firmware, but it's even more straight forward now than it was back in 3.2e land.

If you have the money to buy a european wii, then seriously, go for it. It's a great way to support One Piece, and to make a statement to Namcobandai that people are interested to actually buy the game. I had already bought Unlimited Cruise Ep1 and Ep2 both Japanese and Pal versions to show my appreciation, but under financial strains I had to sell them - I still have the ISO's on my machine.
A second point (though probably not something everyone will want to do anyway), is hacking does allow you to mess around with the music of certain games - I'm planning on doing a full walkthrough of Ep1 and Ep2 PAL versions with music from the anime, since I've been schooled on how to do this by Jinjo402 and a few others.
But, as I'm sure just about everyone will agree, Maikeru Shinigami, I applaud you for wanting to pay for the games and ensure that you play them as they were intended, and for supporting One Piece.
Actually, for me, I think hardmodding is probably the easiest method, but not really cheapest. Considering I have money to spare, I even prefer to support One Piece with the official items. If it was a different series, I might not do as much to get them.
That's not to say that I am buying the TV and Wii solely for One Piece games. I'll use the TV for my satellite and other things as well, so that money will be used for more reasons than that.

I support One Piece because I find it brilliant. I have the first 479 episodes on DVD though I could stream, specifically so I can say I support One Piece. I'm debating getting a European 3DS when Unlimited Cruise SP comes up, if it comes out in Europe, to support One Piece. The only thing I still need to get is the mangas. Which I'll probably do sooner or later.

The thing is a softmodded wii has so much more than just a regular wii. it doesn't matter if you know jack about hacking. The tutorials are very straightforward. i know a very good site that'll help you tremendously. dunno if i can give you the link. Just because you have modded wii doesn't mean you can't buy the games.
Softmodding your wii is totally worth it. as fenberry said you can even do things like change the soundtrack of a game. Softmodding keeps your wii alive longer. if you back up the games and load them from a usb hdd or an sd card. your wii lens gets a well deserved rest and the load times are alot faster. Just because you have money doesn't mean you have to waste it on something you already have.
it's really good that you want to buy OP UC 1 and 2, but the wii is just too much. it's a waste. your wii would have a lot more uses if you modded it.

You know that the wii is a waste. you say the wii has alot of uses. the new wii has those same uses unless you mod it then it has more. which i totally recommend for all the things you can do. I even believe you can't mess your wii if you delibartly are trying to mess it up or ignore the instructions. it's your choice to mod your wii, but i say do it.

You'd pass about 30 PX1's, and there's a bouncing mushroom - you'd get to something that resembles a bell tower like area, and Kizaru's plant boss activator thingy is right there - you go up to it, and there's a cutscene, and Luffy does something stupid, and you have to go back down to the Sunny again to actually beat Kizaru - you get to heal though before you fight him - don't worry -
How do I go to the top of the red tower, I tried going from left, top and right path to the center tower but I can't seem to proceed further up. :(

I know what your trying to say but honestly, get real. Namco Bandai couldn't give two shits if anyone imported this game or not. Especially not just one person. It wasn't released in that territory so they weren't expecting the sale.

I have read and watched a couple videos online trying to get a better understanding, and most people who say it didn't work, say it just didn't work. And, I've been hearing from pretty much everyone that the risk is very very low and usually fixable.

All you need is bannerbomb, The Homebrew Channel and to install a whole folder of custom firmware wad files and your good to go.
Theres a good chance that the pack your downloading will have everything you need. Even if it doesnt, as I said, there is no way to fuck this up.
It has it all, but I'm getting a message that says that the device in the SD card slot cannot be used. I'm thinking my SD Card might be on lock, but I'm pretty sure I checked it beforehand. I have an 8 GB SanDisk SD.

Plenty of great homebrew things to get now. Download and install the Homebrew Browser to your HBC. That thing's great for the latest updates.

Done. I found my USB as well, so I downloaded the USB Loader GX and WBFS. I currently just have to format my USB, and then I should be able to play.
USB turned out to be 1 GB, looking at a 1 TB.
you can just use your 8 GB sd card
My 8 GB was an SDHC. The one I'm using is a 2 GB SD.
mine is also an 8GB SDHC and it plays perfectly
also if you load a game trough cfg usb loader and it gives you id fragments error id mismatch. you simply need to download miixpress
from there choose MMM and cIOS Pack.
copy to sd card. the program wil do that for you if you shut it down
go to hbc choose mmm
go to wad manager and install the cios pack.
just tell me if you get that error and i'll give you the download link

it can be softmodded ^^ is it a new wii? the new wii's don't have a dvd drive in them so you can't burn games but you can play them on a sd card or an usb hdd. so it's no problem really.
it's just a little bit harder to mod. but its possible
