One Piece: Unlimited Cruise - Episode: 1 & 2 (PAL Releases Announced)
-
-
hey guys just got these games a few weeks ago. im 48 hours in and i'm loving it. however fishing gets on my nerves. I cannot for the life of me catch the damn super large seaking. i can catch large and turtle seakings. but the super always escapes from me. i can't handle it tugging for a 4th time in a row.
i have a fully upgraded rod, completely to the last upgrade.
so are there any tips on catching this seaking
and whats the fastest way to raise sp?
still playing unlimited cruise episode 1
I've got some tips, but not enough time to write it down - at the moment, I'll probably try and make a fishing guide with wiiremote inserts and stuff
Maybe a week or two?

Just got these games working and am excited to play through them all the way. :)
Though, the game play is so fun it makes me kind of sad the story is IMHO worse than filler quality. Why is it such a far-fetched idea to make a 3D OP game that simply follows the story of the manga? But alas, this game is pretty awesome anyhow so I'll just play it for now.
-

i don't think the wii can handle a 600+ chapter/500+ episode story. especially for an adventure game.
-
It does'nt have to be an adventure game, just a fighting game which follows the sequence of fights throughout the story.
That being said the more insignificant fighs and characters would have to be cut but it could be workable. -

That being said the more insignificant fighs and characters would have to be cut but it could be workable. You might have something there - I guess with Grand Battle 3, you had individual characters story modes, allowing at least some manga/anime themed banter before the fight, and for everyone there was a final 'cutscene' with some themed battles etc from the anime. And all this being on the gamecube/ps2
So I guess in a way the 3DS may be able to handle something - Giganto Battle also jams in tons of characters, and that's for a DS game (though many are support only…)
I would love to see the rest of CP9 being playable (Even Baroque works main officers playable would be a dream come true...very unlikely to happen)
Fingers crossed with the release of Battle Stadium D.O.N 2, which they're going on now, may have something to look forward to

Well if you want to follow the story and events to the letter.
Regarding levels as more linear 6-7 minutes apiece.
1 level for every East Blue island
4 or 5 levels for Alabasta
4 or 5 levels for Skypeia
4 or 5 levels for Enies Lobby
Probably like 8 or 9 for Whitebeard War.Give or a take a couple levels for minor arcs like Little Garden and Foxy arc.
50 levels or so spread over two games in episodic format like UC… Not that hard to conceptualize. It's not supposed to be an interactive alternative to the series, just a fun abridged game retelling of the story.
-
you need to create them and use them (with usopp)
i believe you need to use the gun powder, can't remember what is the other one (a powder too, i guess)it makes the use of objects more effective with usopp
Already done, thank you

For unlimited cruise 2, how do I get to the 5th island? I've already defeated the 2 bosses from island 4 but can't seem to progress on.

I KNOW! My god there was a time i even stop playing just because that. Sometimes was so frustating (because i don't save until finish one island - i forgot that the game miss that feature at begining - and then hours and hours for nothing -.-).
-
I actually didn't mind as much. I'm used to having to save manually XD
-
What's the max gp you have at the end of the game? I figured I'd be way to pissed to get back 6-7 hours of straight play so I used ocarina and now I'll have like 20 max gp for every one by the time I finish the game. -_- Can't get it back to normal.

Hey everyone
So I just barely learned of the existence of "Unlimited Cruise". The only thing that kept me from pursuing "Unlimited Adventure" was the fact that I heard you couldn't get it subbed, only dubbed. As I am deeply in love with the Jap. voice acting, this broke my heart. But I just now learned that "Cruise" is apparently subbed! I'm about to die of pure excitement! The next problem is how to get a hold of it. Does anyone have any ideas? Ebay only seemed to carry the straight jap. versions . . .
please, oh pleeeeeeeeeeease, I hope someone can help me :cwy: -

please, oh pleeeeeeeeeeease, I hope someone can help me :cwy:yeah, i couldn't find it either, my import store had no idea what i was talking about. they thought it was a movie. i had to pirate both games, you can do that if you want too, but you have to mod your wii, not that it matters since you have to mod your wii to play imports anyways. amazon doesn't ship over seas either. apparently it is even rare in Europe too. most people there said they had to buy it online.

Second, if you don't care about the cases having a giant ratings symbol, the German Amazon has the games in a double pack for about 65$(Shipping not included):
http://www.amazon.de/Piece-Unlimited-Cruise-Double-Pack/dp/B003MDHO74/ref=sr_1_1?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1297179048&sr=1-1The German version can be played in English, too.
-
amazon doesn't ship overseas, last time i checked
-
If anyone really wants the German versions of those UC games I'd be glad to lend a hand.
I might even be able to get them a little bit cheaper than the Amazon price. -
@metteminne:
so when you have the whole map , you just dig around that place where it says the treasure is?
Well you don't even need the full map, just at least 1 piece of it (lol)
But if you get all the map pieces, firstly it makes it easier for you to work out where the damn place to dig is, but mainly, you get to unlock the generic enemies in Vs mode - which is something I specifically had to do for all my requests.

weird , cause i dont find a treasure there , even when its clear where it should be
-
ok i found it , sorry :p
but i kinda forget how to get sweet sap , how do you get them again?
-

In the help section it says they ship worldwide.
And I've ordered stuff from amazon.co.uk a lot of times.

No worries! Sweet sap can be found by mixing honey and sticky sap together - Sticky sap you get after catching a bug on any of the islands (though island 2 you really get them mostly - this is Ep2 I'm talking about, right?)
And then mix it with honey using Chopper
-
Anyone know of a sure way I can get these two games in America, preferably at a decent price? I'd like the subbed version like in Europe.
So, my idea was that I would get a multi-system television with income tax, a European Wii, and then look on the internet to find the two European (PAL) games for a decent price. Would this work? Any recommendations on how to acquire the European games? Good sites for the items (including the Wii and television)? I also don't mind getting a different version of the game. I don't really even care about English subtitles if it's too hard to find.

Well, most TV's these days (ones made in the last 5 years or so) have both PAL and NTSC settings - have a check on the TV you have (if indeed you have one), check with the manual and see if there's a PAL/NTSC/Auto setting or something similar. If you have a TV like this, then you don't need to buy a new one.
Basically you'd need to have either a European Wii and buy these two games
Ep1
Ep2
OR
If you have an American Wii, you'd need to modify your wii
! Have The Homebrew channel installed
! Have either Neogamma loader to play a burn DVD
! or
! USB loader to play via an external HD
! Also download Unlimited Cruise Ep1 and Ep2 from tehparadox (http://tehparadox.com/forum/f76/hippyfreaks-wii-iso-only-thread-223534/) or some other similar website============
@metteminne:
yes , uc2
ok thanks for the help fen!
Happy to help :D

Hmmm, so you've beaten both Doflamingo on the tower, and Kizaru back in the Sunny, normally after you've beaten Kizaru, there's a cut scene telling everyone that there's no more islands left, just the final one. Since Kizaru was actually on the ship, I don't remember but you may have to either leave the sunny and then come back - or go to the menu to head to a new island - Island 5 should be there
-
Honestly though, the game is awesome but it is not worth all the trouble of getting a special TV, special Wii, AND hunting around for the right versions. Just mod your Wii and buy the games so you can play them.
-
I don't think I am tech savvy enough to mod a Wii. I've looked it up before, and I know how to get things on an SD card or USB, but there's too much info. I just like something that says, "Do this, then that".
My mom was getting a new television anyways, so I figured it was a good time to look. I've actually found the correct version of the games. A person with episode 2 who stated they would ship to America, and no word for episode 1. A special Wii is not difficult to find.
If anyone has an extremely simplified version of modding a Wii, I would like to do that though. Or even has all the needed files saved and can email them to me, if that's possible. Cause I have plenty of SD cards and a USB.
Adding on, my Wii is an LU65.
I also don't care about money if it comes to it being too tech savvy for me.
-
My local Game-Traders has one copy of UC2 for $70au if anyone is interested, I think they may have UC1 aswell
-
I'm actually talking to my best friend who is stationed in Japan with the marines. I found episode 1 and 2 online with sellers who are willing to ship to America. Only problem is that I don't have the money right now, but since I'm one of the few people on Earth who actually gives money back, I asked him if he would be willing to pay for it for now.
He's a One Piece fan as well, which gives the game a little extra incentive to get it.
In fact, he just wrote me back and asked if I wanted him to buy it and have it sent to my house for me. So, I can very likely get the games thanks to him.
-
DO NOT dare mod your Wii if you don't know 100% what you're doing.
You'd get a semi or full brick for sure. Also, never use the Twilight method or any other outdated way for ANYTHING. EVER.
Just wanted to get this out.
Also, in case you actually successfully manage to mod your Wii - be sure to know all the risks. Some features may not work correctly, making updates (which some games require) could brick your Wii … all that shit.
I seriously wouldn't recommend doing it at all (unless you're a pro). -
I mean, I did it with Twilight hack a long time ago and there are always patches to make games playable without updating. It's not that complicated but you have to decide whether you trust yourself enough not to screw it up.
-
I softmodded my Wii so I could play my copy of Unlimited Adventure which never came out here in Australia.
It's fairly easy to softmod a Wii, but you do need to pay close attention to what you are doing, and follow the instructions to the letter. Not to mention get a reliable tutorial for an up-to-date method.
-
Sure, it's easy enough to mod it, that's not the problem.
Not breaking it by doing something stupid afterwards is where the real trouble starts. Especially the old hacks such as Twilight have a lot of risks to them (I should know, I successfully managed to run into one of them, producing a full brick in the process). The newer methods seem to be a lot better, but I ain't not risking a perfectly fine Wii for one or two games ever again. -
I've got some tips, but not enough time to write it down - at the moment, I'll probably try and make a fishing guide with wiiremote inserts and stuff
Maybe a week or two?
nah you don't have too. i already got the hang of it. but thanks though.
about the whole modding thing. i personally say it's worth it. it will take you about 20-50 minutes. sure there's a risk but that risk is totally worth it for what you can get back. if you follow the tutorials to the teeth you will have a succesfull modded wii.
-

Oh, I haven't beaten Kizaru back on Sunny. Am I suppose to meet him there? How do I activate this battle on Sunny? Cos when I go back to Sunny, nothing happens.
-
Yeah, the softmod thing is too risky for me, when I don't really understand hacking stuff, and use my sister's Wii. Hardmod actually sounds easier to me, but I kind of prefer having official stuff. I have a seller holding episode 1 for me for 10 days so that I can get the money out of the bank and onto paypal. I'm also going to use a moneypak card so I don't have to wait extra time for processing a direct deposit from a credit card. It worked well when I got the first 479 episodes.
Thanks for the tips, I just don't trust myself enough with all of that. I'm getting either a 42" or 46" inch multi-system plasma, a PAL Wii and 4 games (OP:UC games included, All PAL-Europe). For around $1200, and the sellers all said they would ship to America. So it's all but a done deal, only awaiting the money. I haven't completely got down the second game yet, but it's also not all that hard to find. Quite a bit of money, but I was looking for a new television anyways, might as well get one now. And I don't mind paying a little money out of my account, as long as I enjoy the items.
Oh, I want to ask. Out of 10, how awesome does Brook rank?
-
If you guys want PAL Wii's i'm pretty sure I could hook you up for like $200 maybe
-
I found a PAL Wii for $162.
-
That's a really good price
-
Yeah, the seller has an 100% rating too, so I figured it would be a good one to go for.
-
nah you don't have too. i already got the hang of it. but thanks though.

Sweet - not to worry -
Absolutely - I've modded 2 wii's so far, my own using the twilight princess hack oh so long ago, and have been the hacks as they come out - almost all my games I have either put onto my 1TB USB Hard Drive, or have gotten as their out of my region. It's very much well worth it.
Oh, I haven't beaten Kizaru back on Sunny. Am I suppose to meet him there? How do I activate this battle on Sunny? Cos when I go back to Sunny, nothing happens.
Hmmm, so you've beaten Doflamingo, but have you gotten to the very top of the red tower? You'd pass about 30 PX1's, and there's a bouncing mushroom - you'd get to something that resembles a bell tower like area, and Kizaru's plant boss activator thingy is right there - you go up to it, and there's a cutscene, and Luffy does something stupid, and you have to go back down to the Sunny again to actually beat Kizaru - you get to heal though before you fight him - don't worry -
-
how do you win bon kurei? he is a secret boss right? not one you win in bosss rush?
-
@metteminne:
how do you win bon kurei? he is a secret boss right? not one you win in bosss rush?
You should in theory be able to get him from fighting him in boss rush (you need to complete it), but to get to boss rush you'd need to fight him in the oasis area of Desert Isle, I believe I unlocked Bon Kurei when I fought him as one of those mini bosses.
-
Nah, fighting Bon Kurei as Mini-Boss won't unlock him.
The only way to get him is in Boss Rush. Once you beat him there, he'll be unlocked even if you don't complete the whole thing.
