One Piece: Unlimited Cruise - Episode: 1 & 2 (PAL Releases Announced)

So, i'd imagine this has been asked many times, but searching is a bitch, so here goes. I've just beaten doflamingo on island 4 and have no idea where to go next. I have a bad feeling i'm going to havw to go back and do heaps of developing to get the better bug catcher net. SO yeah, where about's do you go after the first boss on that island? kthnx.

Island 4, especially for those without Ep1 data, is just a complete and utter brick wall most of the time.

This is a bit lengthy, but bear with me -

Firstly - You'll need the idea for Advanced traps first - it's treasure 1, found on island 1 - map pieces dropped by mud puppets -

If you need to get map pieces, the easiest way is either to use Nami's Ep1 whirlwind attack, or your net - swing it at the enemy who drops the map piece, run away until they disappear, then rinse and repeat -

For Advanced Traps you'd need

Enhanced Traps
–----------------
x1 Sweet Sap
x2 Nectar
x3 Iron Scrap

Sweet sap you get as a drop from catching a bug on island 2

Iron scrap from any sword-wielding enemy.

Next, you'd need to try and get the advanced pickaxe - you'll probably get the idea either by swinging your pickaxe at one of the big purple rocks (which will break once you swing with the advanced pickaxe anyway), or via checking one of the monuments - you'd have to check Usopp's building tech tree to see if you've got the idea.

Enhanced Pick-axe

x7 Diamond Fragments
x3 Mysterious Parts
x1 Wood

Mysterious parts drop from PX1 (and they drop map pieces of the Advanced Vacuum - Treasure 8 - which you will need if you plan on facing Whitebeard and Garp) on island 4

Diamond fragments are dropped by Enel's Spacies on island 4.

Finally trying use your net on the electric Spiders on island 4 will result in the Idea of the Advanced But Net

Enhanced Bug-Catcher Net

x3 Pure Iron Ore
x5 Mysterious Parts
x1 Bamboo Sprout

Pure Iron is the drop you get when you either catch a Mole on island 4 (I believe you won't be able to access any of these before you break a certain spider's net... ) or from the giant purple rocks on each island.

Mysterious parts - PX1 again... Swing, run, respawn again...

Bamboo Sprouts are the 'thin bamboo' from island 2 - just before the first Pacifista cave.

It's funny because the Dev's of Unlimited Cruise Ep2 expect people to figure this out without any hints at all -

But a rule of thumb for Unlimited games -
** Find every treasure you possibly can as soon as you can
** Read all the monuments possible (eg explore everywhere)
** Cook each dish and give it at least once to every character.

And for anyone having issues with fishing lists, ingredient lists for things etc

not really , it should work in normal mode , but it would be kind of useless as when you start hard mode after that , you really have to level up your characters HP/SP and fight moves to face the bosses again…
so not doing that in normal mode and simply going through it fast to defeat the bosses and advance to the next island is only going to make it harder for you to level up in hard mode...

and you DO need to level up , even though i didn't use any health bottles and or bombs/poison/sleepballs/etc , i got my ass handed to me by fighting doflamingo in hard mode and at that point i had my characters HP ranging from 1000HP to around 1500HP... and he beat me easily.

Always happy to help :) It's the point in the game I get asked about most often, and it's definitely where people who've played UA and Ep1 kinda get what you need to do, and those fresh to the Unlimited series get totally stumped… Still makes you think, even if your a veteran to Ganbarion games...

I utterly agree. The game from Hard mode onwards is brutally hard, since every boss can really mess you round… Kizaru on Unlimited mode is simply a burning ball of fury. One hit from Whitebeard's special is a GG most of the time and so forth.
Upgrading characters to max for moves and HP/SP is the ONLY way to complete Hard and Unlimited modes, clear all Optional bosses and complete Boss Rush mode... Be prepared!!

and if it's the latter , isn't that sort of cheating from the game itself if max. you can go is 3000HP/2000SP if there is a very hard mode inbetween? cause that means once you upgraded to that in very hard mode , you have no advantage anymore in unlimited mode.... which would mean that unlimited mode is prob. ment for hardcore gamers who think they have the guts to beat the game anyway... unless the whole 3000HP/2000SP is really awesome in general and quite enough to beat the bosses with exception of 1 hit K.O's

just beat whitebeard in hard mode.

i thought when i start i will use the 600 million beli jackpot attack , but either it barely does any damage or whitebeard slightly moved enough to not do a proper hit.. , the only thing that works with spamming it is zoro's 3000 worlds attack…

on the bright side, whitebeards special is NOT a 1 hit K.O :happy:

however when he's almost done for he starts spamming his special... which is really annoying...

My pleasure - Always happy to help - it's a useful tip - not something the game ever eludes to, and a fair whack of the game basically figuring things out yourself or hunting down Treasures/Ingredients/Map Pieces.

VS mode is really neat - Especially when you get the entire character roster unlocked (through three consecutive plays through the game) - over 40 characters - but sadly, there are alot of characters with only 3-4 moves (Spandam, Lucci, Paulie to name a few…) - Others like Calgara, Whitebeard and Shanks for example get moves we've never even seen before, yet they have a fairly full moveset.

Ahhhhh… Mr Gatling - it's a sad day indeed when youtube and Toei get all high and mighty and strike down accounts... However, I plan on doing an Unlimited Mode run with fully upgraded characters in english which should be fun - and I may do a "I-only-have-Ep2-data" Ep2 run as well - since everyone seems to get stuck on island 4 - I'll see what I can do

Yes, the european version is multi5, so I've played it in spanish, and I've seen gameplay videos of german, english and italian.

Guess what!?!?! Homebrew channel updated and the "loader" didn't load it, nor the wii main menu, so I've decided to restore with the backup that I did during the install, the bad news that the backup I did it DURING the install, not after, so I'm at a misterious point in limbo, with my savefiles since tthat day deleted.. Including my 78% UCp2 game.

The game is Multi5, that means that It has Spanish, English, French, German and Italian, if any of those is the nativ elanguage of your wii it will show every text in that language. If not I think that It will default in english.

Played a little again … Robin's attacks are all almost on Lv. 30. After her I just have to raise Franky's and Brook's attacks.

unlimited mode sucks sofar , i had to do nothing on island 1 but fight kid and crocodile (which were easy btw) and the mini bosses..

bon kurei = i thought i'd save him for last and beat the other guys first , i read that when i beat him with sanji i get a map piece for boss rush , however because i saved him last.. i did extract a map piece from him after beating him… but because he was the last.. the barrier for the forced fight disappeared and so did the map piece... so i never got it :getlost:

spandam = i have to beat him with franky to get a mix candy if i actually want a mix candy... , but because of those 2 px's and the tight spot your located in it is impossible to beat him properly... needless to say because of all the spamming shockwave blasts from the px's i failed to beat or come even close near spandam with franky and didn't get a mix candy..

island 2 i read i can get something from arlong if i beat him with nami...
i did..... and nothing.... :silly:

next should be aokiji.... this time i'll beat him first... do i need any special character for aokiji in order to get a map piece... cause i read it doesn't matter and chopper would prob. be my best bet...

Leveling the attack should be enough and make sure that every participating Strawhat has enough SP ;)

Similarities exist that you can momentarily cause Usopp's Kabuto weapon model to turn back to the original -

In addition to equipping Bombs to Usopp and firing (making an 'exploding star'), or is it the fire powder making him have 'Burning star'? I may have to check for myself. Franky with Ice powder (and performing the master nail shake attack) makes an interesting sound.

As far as my own understanding, there isn't any requirement for Map 10 Map pieces to come from beating mini bosses with specific characters - it's normally either trying to use Nami's shake/upgraded bug net swing and if nothing then trying to finish him with a break rush to force a drop…

Definitely Chopper would be good to beat him as much as possible, the break rush with Franky or Sanji or whomever you can land powerful attacks from during a break rush... it's a tricky thing to do.

For 600 Million Beri Jackpot, just ensure that each one has enough SP - even if they're defeated in battle it can still be used as long as each of them have SP enough to cast it.

Also, the difference between lvl 1 and lvl 30 for a team special is a big deal from what I've found - again try and use the special on a large group of enemies (such as the pirates who spawn on the pirate ship where you activate Croc's battle on island 1, or the area between the bridge and the bug catching trees on island 2).

I'll show a vs Unlimited mode boss fights with upgraded characters montage shortly - just need to clear gigs after getting Sin and Punishment 2...

Oh my … I'm on a good way to beat it on Unlimited Mode (95% done of total game).
Today I've finished the attack leveling with the last strawhat (Brook) and managed to completely raise Luffy's and Zoro's HP (both now max 3000/1000).
Luckily I have a lot of easy dishes I can make for raising before I have to start with the sea king ones (I don't want to think about that T_T)

Do you think Boss Rush would be lost forever in that save file?

If in this case you don't break rush any of the Mini Bosses during Unlimited mode, you'd be able to restart Unlimited mode after you'd done what you need to do, since you'd have another crack at it… I remember I had to do the same when I played Unlimited mode on the PAL version... couldn't get the last piece of the map to drop - so restarted... Spandam dropped it...

Im on Floating Island, the part where you need to build a ladder to reach the next place (map 82%). All i need is 16 wood which i have but it says 'Skill is too low' and 'not enough GP'. My GP is currently like 9/0 9/0 10/10 9/5 5/5. Ive forgotten what all this means.

I know its not very clear but can anyone manage an explanation?

Thats the way to garp so its not the rigth way. There is a place close to that where there is a big brigde to the castle x3 To go to garp you need to figth all the bosses even vivi and lucci and wb and all those people ;P But you can ónly unlock him in Unlimted mode x3 Hope it helps x3

Oh man …. Garp is so annoying in Unlimited Mode. Almost unfair ... the first half of his HP is reduced fast (Sleep Balls and Nami ftw ^^) but when he starts with the canon ball throwing it's unfair. When he hits you once it's almost impossible to get out of there ... Hate this old geezer ^^

my boss fights in unlimited mode is normally me starting with 600 mil. beli jackpot , than i'll use specials right after that while in between using health bottles and candy , if i don't make it i still have atleast 1 each of the revival elixer and restorative drug at hand.

i don't care anough for the boss fights to play fair , i just beat em as quick as possible and move on… although i do enjoy upgrading my characters , so it's not like i am rushing through from island to island.

Yeah I think my main problem atm is that my characters are not fully upgraded and just Luffy and Zoro have 3000/1000. Hope that I can upgrade the rest during next week. Just wanted to try out if I can beat Garp with the stats my characters have atm but I guess I should upgrade the rest before ^^
