Elaborate! I can't wait for the DVDs and the new One Piece games. I still wonder how FUNi will handle scenes where people are point blank range with a gun.
Hopefully better than the infamous Tomato soup debacle back with Dragon Ball. I imagine they'll only cut those scenes if the characters actually get shot. If they just have guns pointed at them, it probably won't be necessary.
The only time the anime has actually shown a character being shot from close range is when shanks shot that guy in the beggining of the series.

I stopped visiting it months ago once the appeal wore off, but when people began to realize that commercials/promos really weren't going to come and that it was up to the fans to help spread the news, I went back. There were a good deal that had no fucking idea.

Did CN air all the DBZ movies? I didn't have cable during the entire year of 2006, but as the end of 2005, they hadn't aired a lot of them as far as I know.

FUNi's site is advertising it a bit, but that's it. CN won't promote it because there wasn't any kind of break between 4Kids' last episode and FUNi's first one. It's just a regular episode to them.

A few friends of mine are coming over and we're probably going to watch it. I originally took off work to go to the UW Badger game on Saturday, but I needed money and decided to sell the tickets in the end. A night of relaxation and the new OP dub will do me good anyways.

It's funny, my older sister's really excited for this too because it has some of her favorite actors in it (she was really exstatic when I told her Vic is singing the opening theme). She KNOWS the series is great, she's seen the first 50 episodes, but she just hasn't found the time to sit down and watch the fansubs. She wants to use this new dub as a way to "jumpstart" her interest in the series.
And hey, I don't think Funimation could've picked a better spot to "continue" the series.
I'm gonna sit on the couch cushions on the floor and watch it on my 54"…..yeah, nothing notable.

As far as I know, this thread will remain open until it hits 9999 posts, then they will open a sequel thread. This is what happened with the naruto threads (before the current one was indefinitely closed a few days ago), also I think this has happened with the RAW episodes thread.
