Hmmm…Yeah I guess I kinda noticed too that is interesting
No, there's been some really minor changes I've noticed.
His character drawings have been pretty good from the start.
Edit: I remember now the most distinct change is his eyebrows back then. They were much thicker.
…They look a lot better now.
http://www.volonte-d.com/details/evolutions.php
He's as changed as any of them…
Gad. I remember Chopper looked so awful.
Old: Recent:
But anyway Zeph, I think he means anime-wise.
It's so inconsitent compared to the manga…
They all look a bit more like adults now – but considering everything they've been through, as well as the ages they were when the adventure started (all in their late teens, except for Robin and Franky) this makes perfect sense to me. Also, Oda's style has evolved and improved over the years, so he's giving them more life-like poses and subtler expressions now.
Nice link, Zephos. Thanks!
I don't know, I think he's gotten alot more bulky during the years, espically those awesome man arms of his
He has a huge neck now, that's for sure.
btw, its creator.
lol usopp changed the most XD
Anime-wise and manga-wise they seem to have all changed a bit
lol usopp changed the most XD
specially the nose lolz
edit:on topic yea zoro changed, but not a lot. just like his personality which isn't a bad thing
I noticed that the Strawhats matured alot, too.
Especially Zoro, Chopper, and Usopp.
Am I the only one who noticed how fat Chopper was when he was introduced
versus how he looks now?

yeah the ussop and his nose…and yeah out of all the one piece charachters zoro change the least and i think the females(nico robin and nami) luffy, and chopper espically chopper
That first picture of Usopp scares me…
But yeah, like everyone else, Zoro looks a lot different from the begining. They used to look a lot younger (especially Nami, in the ahem chest department) and not as defined as they are now.
The only person not to change all that much is Robin, her face is just narrower.
yeah i know…... the chest department....you want fries with that lol
My god, Ussop and Chopper used to look atrocious. But u can really tell Oda's style has improved alot since he started. Good stuff
So this topic should be "Straw Hat Evolution"
^Yes, Ussop and CHopper changed drastically since their debut.
Zoro changed his shirt. That's all I can think of.
He has a huge neck now, that's for sure.
Same with his well-developed back and arm muscles (which you can see best in the Alabasta bath scene. As Oda gets better at drawing male anatomy, Zoro's muscles become more defined – and since that's consistant with the story-line (we'd expect someone who is training constantly to have well-defined muscles) it's not as noticeable -- or jarring -- of a change as, say the change in Nami's bustline.
Franky currently has Zoro beat in the big-muscles category, and I hope it stays that way. We only need one "Charles Altas" on the ship, and huge muscles would be a hinderance to swordsmanship.

Haha, if you look at my earlier post you can see I pointed that out.
Maybe he lost some fur because he's not in winter climate anymore. XD
Chopper was really chubby in that picture.
