I just hope he's alive.
I heart that guy as much is humanly possible without crossing the line over to gay.

A lot of people have said this but I personally felt Suzaku was at his finest in this episode. His original beliefs triumphed overall but also so did Lelouch's, creating an odd turn of events.
Suzaku was really similar to Emiya Shirou so much that in 2006 I noted this, but like Shirou's inability to do anything Suzaku's ability to thwart everything was just as annoying. He needed to be tempered and Euphemia's death and all the stuff in R2 seemed to do the trick.
I hope the Geass R2 DVD sales are high enough so we get Code Geass ~something more beautiful~ or some kind of OVa that takes place in space 150 years from now with LELOUCH AND C.C. PILOTING SUPER GALACTIC GURREN-GAWAIN to defeat the Anti-Geass in a pataphysical niche between the 10th and 11th dimensions.
Gurren Lagann sucks !!!!!!!!!!!

God no! lol (btw, what happened to you hating CG, and Sunrise should burn in hell)
and YES! Suzaku IS that good. :)
Well, I was really enjoying this series on Adult Swim, but I just fuckin' had the ending ruined for me while surfing the net. It was in the form of a gif of Lelouch, sliding down a ramp dead with spinning Suzaku edited in.
Fuck you, interwebs.
I'm really saddened by this… I kinda don't even wanna watch the series anymore now... but, I guess I will. I had Death Note pretty much ruined for me, but I still watched it and enjoyed the ride.

if you didn't want to be spoiled you shouldn't have come to this thread especially consider you already know none of us where watching the AS dub and it was the last episode.
… I wasn't spoiled by this thread... I very well knew this thread contained massive spoilers.

oh I see I remember I got spoiled on death note by reading the you tube comments shit was really gay.
so he's called Suzero now?
or maybe Spinzero?

so he's called Suzero now?

he did run dumb fast on that part.
would have sucked for Lelouch if they would have killed suzaku right there. Orange-san was in on it… but it looked like those knightmare pilots were definitely trying to kill him.
but it helps when you have physical hax and a geass command to "live"
Since Suzaku replaced Lelouch as the new Zero..don't the public realised that there's voice-change in the new Zero?
..the public should have recognised the similarities in Emperor Lelouch and Zero's voice. I wonder why the ppl failed to noticed that…
i've been wondering that ever since Zero first appeared. Not only the tone… but the manner of speech as well!
Guess the world is just stupid like that.
God no! lol (btw, what happened to you hating CG, and Sunrise should burn in hell)
I still don't like them. GGG TV was great, FINAL (an OVA) was created to tie up some loose ends and give fanservice to the fans…but it was full of yucky typical SR Go Nagai style fanservice, was an emotional wreck, had rather dumb fights and "plot twists". They tied up that one loose end but in light of everything else I'm not sure if it was deserved.
A Geass OVA would be just as bad because the original staff wouldn't work on it.
Hating on FINAL? For shame.
It gave us the Gloriousness that is Genesic Gaogaigar, the only thing that competes with Shin Getta in my mind for the title of "greatest super robot."
The fanservice in the early bits was kind of really overdone, but the rest was gold.
And Volfogg actually did shit, too.
Hating on FINAL? For shame.
Yup, I get that a lot. I was one of the few people to hate on FINAL when doing so was considered blasphemous. Since those days people have mellowed but I'm still in a minority.
It gave us the Gloriousness that is Genesic Gaogaigar, the only thing that competes with Shin Getta in my mind for the title of "greatest super robot."
This is true, and quite frankly FINAL 06 when Genesic appeared was one of the glorious moments of the series, right up there with the J-Ark's legendary maiden voyage and GaoGaiGar triumphing over Zonuda.
The fanservice in the early bits was kind of really overdone, but the rest was gold.
Most of the fights bored me, but my real beef (beyond the fanservice) was how emotion was toyed with in the series. One of the central themes was courage/determination triumphs all, and while this may have been true, that theme was twisted around just so the OVA could shock the viewers.
FINAL 02 was the worst episode in this regard, but what really killed me was how after Guy killed Mamoru and everyone learned he was fake, they were all "oh, so he wasn't real? That's OK then". NO. The fact that people could brush off killing off their friend - even if he wasn't real (and the clones were certainly 'real') - was really sickening and felt like a misuse of the courage/determination theme just to stage a battle.
Not that I liked a fake like GaoFaiGar defeating GaoGaiGar - I admit, I liked Stealth Gao and GaoFar early on, but after that I just wanted to see it scrapped. It was like someone seeing Optimus die in Transformers: The Movie. Genesic almost made up for FINAL 02's sacrilege, but I still hate GaoFaiGar for how it was used.
The anime failed to portray Lelouch's objectives up to the end. Actually I'm wondering why Lelouch wanted to make Zero an invincible hero so much. World peace and the happiness of his sister can be achieved without resorting to what he have done. He's an emperor, he can use his vast power to achieve that. He can copperate with UFN but he did not. Actually, I'm surprised when he took the representatives as hostages. Just what the hell is in his mind? Sad to say, the anime failed to show that.

Watch the last episode then come back.
^I've watched it again and it just wasted another 20+ minutes of my time. Lelouch said that the world can now be united not through military actions but trough negotiations and talk if a world's villain shall fall. Lelouch played that villain. But IMO, does he even need to go to that extent? When he requested to join UFN, he could have began the talks there. Does he think he can't start a talk while there are many who are agianst him? Yeah, there might be some rebels among the royalties but their force is small. They can be quickly nuetralized. If Lelouch is thinking of atoning for his sins with his life, then he could have just taken suicide or surrendered to the Black Knights so that they can execute him. He just need to initialize a good Britannian government, like putting up a constitution in favor of democracy, before he surrender himself to the Black Knights. After he became the emperor, he initiated a war which resulted to deaths of many people. He even sacrificed his own forces. Before the final episode, I really don't know what he's planning. I've hoped it was something good in the end. But it is not. He just wanted the world to look up to Zero. As if a true world peace can be achieved by just looking at one man.
And even if that's the only way of achieving world peace, it can be done in a better way. He may contact the Blacknights and propose a new man to act as Zero. Then he will just surrender to the Black Nights for his execution. He can have done that all through talking. But he did not. He preferred a harsher way.
Well, the anime seems to have made it this way so that the last episode will look dramatic. The animation for the part he died is great too. If it is not for the fact that I found Lelouch last acts completely irrational, I would have considered Code Geass as one of the best anime I've seen.

Words don't sway or motivate people there has to be action. If you can't understand him becoming the ultimate evil and then removing the evil from the world in order to make it better than I just don't understand. If he just fights in to the system that has already been established then it won't work.

Malcolm, think of it this way.
When Lelouch became Emperor and freed the Number states, extinguished the nobility and sought to raze everything that represented the Britannian policy of social darwinism, the whole world was supporting him. The only people who opposed him were those who feared Geass.
He could have sat down for talks then and there - for one, if he agreed to let Britannia only have 20% of the votes (which would have happened after he died anyway) he would have been even more popular with people around the world. He unnecessarily provoked people into combat and killed a ton of people for seemingly no reason. The cycle of hate was broken when Charles was murdered.
The only reason he gave was so he would overshadow Euphemia's massacre, but that's ridiculous because it would have been remembered anyway. People still remember the Boston "Massacre" right? Euphemia's genocide would never be forgotten.
no. i think he was justified with his actions. I Think a good example would be gurren lagenn,
! when what's his face with the hair in his face, surrendered simon to the people, even though the problems weren't his fault. The people wouldn't be satisfied unless they had someone to blame. I think if Lelouch tried to handle things the way you said, there would still have been problems. he dug his hole too deep to get out of.
Also, this was a way for him to atone for all his sins and all the people he cared about who had to die.
hey, btw, how did suzaku die? I didn't figure that one out.
Huh? Suzaku didn't die… Unless you're referring to the Lancelot Albion exploding. In that case, it's most likely because of his hax abilities to spit on the laws of physics.
no. they had that cat at a gravestone. wasn't that suzaku?
Yes, but that was for show. To the world, he's dead, but he has to live under the Zero mask for the rest of his days. It's pretty ironic.
AHH, I get it. it's his "pretend" grave. duh. why didn't i get that sooner.
Malcolm, think of it this way.

The cycle of hate didn't end when Charles died. Him getting rid of the numbered countries really didn't do anything but shift the world back to what it was before Brittania took over everything. I think once the Black Knights turned on him it was really him against the World. Him working with the UFN really wouldn't have changed anything. There was still Schizniel he had to worry about and why would he submit to anyone's demands once he reached the point he was at.
I don't think would have been content with just beating charles either. The world was his and he took control of it and created the world for nunnally that he was striving for from the beginning. Man I don't see how people have beef with the ending I wonder what they would have been like he just disbanded the britannia forces.
Yes Emperor Lelouch was able to make everybody forget about Euphemia. He was a dictator and extremely ruthless in doing so.
Also who ever said why did he make Zero the hero of justice. Peep the episdoe when Schinzel confrims that Lelouch is Zero when he and Suzaku meet alone. Best anime ever !!!!!! any one with negative comments can fuck off and go watch an inferior shows like naruto and bleach.

I honestly wonder where your mind goes while you're watching this show.

I have an idea about this, though it's probably a plot hole and unintentional, but there's really no other reason to explain why Lelouch did the crap he did since he had pretty much achieved what he wanted. Perhaps It was Suzaku that was pushing this all along with the intention of getting revenge on Lelouch. I mean Lelouch wouldn't have been able to be Emperor without Suzaku helping him kill off those that could resist him (like the Knights). So they come up with a plan to pretty much set Nunnally up as ruler of Brittania with Suzaku as her guard, and Schinezel as her adviser. If Lelouch didn't intend to die he would have had no reason not to spare Schinezel, and they pretty muched set themselves up as the ultimate badguys to cover up them geassing Schinezel and hiding the fact him and Nunnally were intending to nuke the whole world.

I don't think the world lelouch wanted to make would have been able to be made with him submitting to the UFN

So you really think Code Geass is the best anime ever. Have you watched Evangelion, Cowboy Bebop or Trigun? These are my top anime. They have extremely good plot and you'll not see any inconsistencies or irrationalities with these anime (IMO). I even rank Gundam Seed higher than Code Geass. Code Geass is an anime which tries to deal with politics yet it targeted the shonen group. As if the world is run by teenagers. Code Geass never tried to portray the world more complex than it should be. The producers are afraid that its demographic target might lose interest in the story once they portrayed it more seriously.
CG has not even explained why the Brittanian civilians are against Lelouch. I thought it was only the royalties (whom Lelouch stripped off their titles) who are against him. He doesn't even have soldiers whom he doesn’t control with his geass. Is that possible in this world? Once you became the leader, you can have an absolute power over your military. There might be rebels but they’ll be few. He can have an army which is truly loyal to him. That’s why Burma and North Korea still exist these days. These countries are run by leaders who are almost like Lelouch, but they have soldiers who will fight till death no matter how cruel their leaders are.
You said that him joining the UFN will not make any difference. Are you really sure about that? UFN is like our very own UN. Are you seeing what our United Nations brought about now, in our era? It’s true that there remain conflicts in our world but UN was able to mitigate world wars. When Zero created UFN, I really thought that he was doing the right way. I still liked CG then. I thought that UFN’s emergence will be a key in achieving what he wanted. However, that’s not how the story ended. UFN played not a single role at all.
I still find Lelouch’s later actions unnecessary. As I said, I believe that there could have been better ways considering the fact that he had already gained massive power after he succeeded Charles. His later actions only contradict his own ideals.
I'm surprised you call Naruto and Bleach inferior anime. It seems you really hate shonen plots (mediocore plots) but you like Code Geass so much. Isn't Code Geass as inferior as these anime? I watch Naruto and Bleach but they're not the best anime for me. One Piece is not even the best anime for me. Well, we all have different taste. I just want to express why I don’t find CG one of the best anime. It’s a good anime, at least.

I think if Lelouch tried to handle things the way you said, there would still have been problems. he dug his hole too deep to get out of.
There still were problems, that was the inherent flaw with this last arc. Lelouch was too set in the "must MARTYR myself" mindset to mind his mundane murder. During the whole story people have been offering peaceful alternatives and he's brushed them aside.
Also, this was a way for him to atone for all his sins and all the people he cared about who had to die.

The whole point of the hatred was the Britannian Empire had conquered other nations and stripped them of their personal freedoms and self-identity; Lelouch restored that after killing the previous leader. Isn't that exactly what happened when Zero killed Lelouch? :/

I can't stand Evangelion so i really don't think you should toss that crap in my face. Trigun and Cowboy bebop I like a lot. I have them both in my top 5 favorite animes. Gundam Seed blows chunks and you lose all crediblity to talk about anime with me.

Lelouch came out of no where proclaimed himself emperor and then during his rule he was a trynical dictator. If you listen to the crowd when lelouch is showing up listen to the comments. He made the 2 months hell and was killing anyone who opposed him. He is nothing with out the geass and gained everything he had by use of the geass why wouldn't he use that on his soldiers? I don't understand your point try again.

Lelouch = America if UFN = UN Lelouch said fuck off I will have more war. They still needed the extra push to get to the point where people will stop focusing on war and stuff. Have you ever watch Gundam Wing when they they have a massive battle in order to show people the horrors of war. (Also in my top 5 Animes)
I still find Lelouch’s later actions unnecessary. As I said, I believe that there could have been better ways considering the fact that he had already gained massive power after he succeeded Charles. His later actions only contradict his own ideals.
I don't think they were unnecessary. He accomplished everything he set out to do. He fullfilled his contract with CC and everything. Once he took out Charles there was only one thing left for him to do.

That time has gone and passed don't you think ? Look at Lelouch episode one to lelouch at the end he isn't the same. He sheded all his fake personas over came the death of Shirley and Rolo caused millions of people to die. Maybe he didn't want to live with that guilt any more.
And the litmus results are coming in…
I don't understand.
The whole point of the hatred was the Britannian Empire had conquered other nations and stripped them of their personal freedoms and self-identity; Lelouch restored that after killing the previous leader. Isn't that exactly what happened when Zero killed Lelouch? :/
Lelouch became the World Leader and was some evil tryant dictator in control of everything and kill all of those who opposed him. Once you remove him you become open to more things and you don't allow yourself to fall into the state anymore and you begin to respect people more and etc.
The "create the world for Nunnally" part of him (which was a lie btw) died when Nunnally died. From the betrayal on, Lelouch was trying to kill himself in a noble/meaningful way, which is just like how Suzaku was in season one.
Lelouch was grief strickened over the death of his little sister however he overcame that. However him dying didn't stop him from completing his goals and task.
When Lelouch said in episode 1 of the first season he wanted to destroy/create worlds, he wanted to utterly ruin Britannia. This changed objectives to just destroying the "hate". That's part of the development; a change from a literal interpretation to a less tangible one.
Malcolm, you should watch Kaiji or Akagi.
Yea he wanted to destroy the world. Then they said he wanted to get rid of all of the hate in the world. In order to creat you must destroy. For every beginning their is an end. Getting rid of the hatred in the world allowed him to make the peaceful world that he wanted nunnally to live in. He even says it towards the end. i will try to check those anime out if I can find an online stream. Are you talking about Gambler Apocalypse Kaiji ?? If so I've seen it.
Also I want to point out some of Lelouch's exploits.
He didn't join the UFN
He didn't join the Japan Liberation Front
He didn't join with people who attacked from China
He didn't join the Chinese Federation
How about Lelouch wanted to destroy every form of government and systems that were already in place then start again a new? I love the fact that Lelouch was resolved enough to see this through to the end and not lose himself for the sake of nunnally.
Code Geass = Best Anime EVER!!!!!!
ALL Hail Emperor Lelouch !!
ALL Hail Emperor Lelouch !!
ALL Hail Emperor Lelouch !!

Well, it seems you don’t get my point here. I’m aware that many people hate this series. I hated many things about this anime too. Lame battles, poor subplots, etc. When I said that I even rank Gundam Seed greater than Code Geass, I’m just emphasizing how disappointed I am with Code Geass.

He made the 2 months hell and was killing anyone who opposed him. He is nothing with out the geass and gained everything he had by use of the geass why wouldn't he use that on his soldiers? I don't understand your point try again.
My point here is that once you became a leader, no matter how you got to that position (coup d’etat, rebellion), you’ll still be able to make your country’s army loyal to you. Being a dictator will not hinder you from achieving the loyalty of your country’s army. I believe that Lelouch is intelligent enough to make that happen without resorting to his geass. That 2 months you’re talking about actually puzzled me. Why is he facing such an opposition? Why are the civilians against him? As far as I know, the civilians have no idea on what really happened to Charles. They have no idea whether Lelouch is evil or not. The civilians should have been happy to have a new leader.
@MonkeyDMalcolm:
Yeah, I watched that. Gundam Wing is in my top 10 by the way and ranks higher than Seed for me. Having that extra push is already unnecessary. It seems to me that you just really like wars. Maybe if you have been a US senator during the time they voted for Iraq war, you would have voted yes. I assume that CG’s world is not far from how our current world functions. People are already aware of the horrors of war. We have Noble Prize for Piece and other awards. “World Piece” is a common slogan among many groups. War is already a vintage concept for most people.
Also why are you saying that the people in CG are still focused in war? When Lelouch released the numbered states, doesn’t that mean that those fighting for independence should have stopped their offenses already? What are these wars you’re saying exactly? The anime didn’t even show them.
@MonkeyDMalcolm:
Your taste in anime sux0rz and my taste in anime r0x0rz your s0x0rz
Well, same to you.
…...

Brittania did not except him the where on Schnizels side …..nevermind the fact that this is the biggest load of bullshit I ever heard before. 2 months passed from when he won the war to the point where he "died" He was about to execute Schnizel and the former Black night people. People in the crowd was complaning how he just kills anyone in his way. The people in the news room was also like I can't believe we have to broadcast this as justice. I really don't think you understand or paid enough attention to the anime.

What does the noble peace prize have to do with anything ? They're still war and people are killed and get killed every day. Once again the world peace Lelouch wouldn't couldn't be acheived by joining the UFN. Just like liberating Japan.
Also why are you saying that the people in CG are still focused in war? When Lelouch released the numbered states, doesn’t that mean that those fighting for independence should have stopped their offenses already? What are these wars you’re saying exactly? The anime didn’t even show them.
After he realized the numbered nations. They were still Schnizel and the Black Knights. They was still Fleija and people go to war over numerous things. If lelouch goes away two neighboring countries will go to war for resource or food and such.
Also wasn't the UFN foundamentally flawed? If the country with the countries or what ever they said controlled the voting power in the UFN ? I really don't understand the complaints OMG lelouch should be a leader and have some soldiers. I think it's quite understandable that he doesn't have an army that follows him once the black knights turned on him. OMG lelouch didn't conform to the UFN policies. Lelouch didn't want to and it would have been stupid for him to do so and it would have made everything he did up to that point useless.
I think it's unbelievable that some people knock this guy where he took the whole worlds burnden put it on his shoulders and made the world better for everyone. ZomG that was unnecassry….I'm sure find a better ending then bitch
Well, same to you.

GOLD GOLD GOLD!!!
Sound episodes stolen from 4ch:
! Track 1 - Cecile and Lloyd's "Welcome Mr. Knightmare-san"
! Cecile and Lloyd host a show for Knightmares. In this show, knightmares are allowed to talk about their fine and bad points and they get to complain about their pilots too. Cecile and Lloyd allow each knightmare to introduce themselves:
! Lancelot - a very respectful Sakurai. He gets tongue-tied at the beginning.
Guren - a yankee Koshimizu who's vulgar. She cranks out a very loud, "Hajikero, buriki-yarou!".
Gawain - voiced by a normal Fukuyama and Yukana; they speak in sync. Later on, Lloyd asks if they could separate their voices, which they do. Yukana does Gawain solely later on.
Tristan - same personality as Gino, may sound somewhat annoying to others even
Mordred - a stuttering version of Anya; despite her big body, she's very shy. Lloyd mentions that Mordred's hadron cannon is the strongest.
Shenhu - narcissist Xingke; he proclaims his love to Cecile; Cecile tells him to die.
Vincent - a much assertive version of Rolo; a bro-con who admires Lancelot-niisan.
Siegfried - same personality as Jeremiah; the other knightmares complain why he's on the show, since he's a fortress, not a knightmare.
Shinkirou - Fukuyama speaking kansai-ben; surprisingly has a chipper/dapper personality.
! After the introductions, Cecile and Lloyd announce that they've already reached half-time. The next part of the show is to "voice your concern/complaint for/about your pilot". Only Lancelot and Guren get to say anything before madness kicks in. The knightmares suddenly want to try flying around, instigated by Guren who just got her float system. Mordred also ends up almost shooting her hadron cannons.
! When the knightmares have calmed down, Cecile and Lloyd proceed to the next portion of the show, in which they present sakuradite fluid to the knightmares. Apparently, Lloyd mixed something dangerous in the sakuradite. The one who ends up the most drunk is Mordred. Everyone goes crazy again and near the end, Guren goes berserk activating her fukusha hadou.
! Track 2 - Lelouch and the part-time jobs he can't do
! Surprisingly entertaining. Lelouch does part-time jobs as credit for Villeta-sensei. Rival introduces him to a few jobs, such as:
! 1. hamburger fast-food restaurant employee - Lelouch the casanova tries to charm female customers (he sounds like a playboy here XD); C.C. appears ordering pizza, which Lelouch points out that the restaurant doesn't serve because, for crying out loud, they only sell hamburgers!
! Lelouch gets fired for arguing with certain "customer".
! 2. bellboy at a hotel - Rival comes to check up on Lelouch in time to see him having a VERY, VERY hard time carrying luggage. Rival remembers that Lelouch is physically inept, haha. Actually, while inside the elevator, Lelouch geasses the guest to carry his own luggage. The next guest is, as expected, C.C., who has a mountain of luggage that Lelouch must carry. Knowing that geass doesn't work on C.C., Lelouch runs out on his job.
! 3. apparel store employee - C.C. comes to bother Lelouch again. She orders Lelouch to take her body measurement. "This saucy woman will prove to you that this XX-hundred-year-old body has not changed!" C.C. declares. While inside the dressing room, Rival overhears Lelouch and C.C. and he imagines wild things.
! 4. guardsman for a pizza cold storage vault - I can't believe there's a job like this for Lelouch Rival introduces the job to Lelouch without him knowing what he's guarding. All of a sudden, C.C. appears. Apparently, the Black Knights are taking cost-cutting measures and C.C. is looking for pizza provisions.
! Lelouch claims that C.C. is a mere thief (dorobou) but C.C. corrects him, saying that she is a "mysterious phantom thief (kaitou)". Lelouch allows C.C. into the pizza storage. C.C. is very ecstatic and even does a little girl impression of "Yey yey! Pizza! Eat all you can!" C.C. notices something in another corner and stepping towards it, the sensors are triggered and the alarm sounds. Lelouch and Rival escape, fearing that they'll be caught as criminals and leaves a screaming mad C.C. behind.
! 5. a part-timer who washes dead bodies at a hospital - One of the most ridiculous jobs that Lelouch gets and the only job Rival is able to get for Lelouch in the end. :heh A scared Rival hands over the tools Lelouch needs for the job and runs off. Lelouch is left alone. The room is fairly quiet except for the sound of water moving in the formalin pool. Suddenly. C.C. jumps out from the formalin pool, screaming "Lelouuuuch!", scaring the heck out of Lelouch.
! R2 Sound Episode 2: Naked Lelouch
! Milly introduces herself to the listeners ("I love parties, festivals and the extraordinary!"). She absolutely has to have a go at everything and anything fun, and people may call her greedy for that – but really, her wish is but a humble one. Right now, all she wants is...
! Milly: (Emperor Wakamoto-imitation) LelOoooUUuucchhhH! StriIIiiiIIiiP!
! Lelouch, in complete bafflement, asks what she's up to. Milly, continuing her Emperor Wakamoto act, tells him off for being insolent: "Who do you think gave you the clothes on your back?" (Charles, season 1) Lelouch mildly replies: "I bought them myself, what of it?"
! Lelouch then asks whether this is some kind of Emperor Festival; Milly says no, there's no point to that since right here, right now, she has more authority than the Emperor himself. Shirley remarks that might end up being an act of treason if Milly isn't careful, but Milly isn't listening -- she's busy inwardly giggling over the thought of Lelouch in his birthday suit, though she admits that she's more interested in his reactions than the actual stripping.
! Milly: So hurry up and strip! Either that or strip in an excessively dignified yet indecent manner!
! Lelouch, with a sigh, wants to know what could have led to the current situation, but both Rolo and Shirley find it difficult to begin. Milly then offers to personally explain everything herself: It all started about 5 minutes ago.....
! Flashback: 5 minutes ago
! Rolo enters the (Student Council?) room, sounding worn out. Milly asks what's wrong, noting that Rolo's Aura is a little dimmer than usual.
! Shirley: (incredulous) You can see stuff like that!?
Milly: Why of course! I'm the Student Council President, after all!
Shirley: ... ...I see.
! Rolo explains that he had been forced into the part of the art model; Shirley immediately understands that the Art Week (from season 1) has come up again, but Milly is completely in the dark about it. Shirley explains that it started last year, in memory of Clovis, and that everyone paints something to enter into a competition. Milly claims she hasn't heard a thing about it; Shirley tells her that's because the 3rd year students are exempted from participating in it, what with having to deal with extrance examinations and job-hunting. Shirley goes on to inform Milly that Lelouch was the model last year. Rolo is first surprised to hear this, then delighted to know that Lelouch had had a tough time dealing with complaints like "Don't move!" and "Your expression changed!", too.
! Rolo: (blissfully) Just like me...
! Milly, however, is not quite amused, accusing them of having fun without her. She goes on to complain about the one year difference in age -- she, too, wanted to tell Lelouch "You lack dynamism!", "You lack sensuality!", "You lack SOMETHING!". In short, she wanted to bully Lelouch, too. Rolo wonders whether Milly's been building up stress lately; Shirley notes there hasn't been any major events lately....
! And right at that moment, Lelouch walks in, looking for Rolo--
! Milly: (Emperor Wakamoto-imitation) LelOoooUUuucchhhH!
! End Flashback
! Lelouch summarizes Milly's explanation so far: basically she wants to a) have him strip and then b) make impossible demands of him in public. Milly, not seeing anything wrong with this, answers cheerfully in the affirmative. Lelouch begins to grumble inside his head -- is Milly's brain wired only to think of ways to make a spectacle out of him in public? Nude model? Heck no! It's all well and good if the artist is a professional, but there's nothing more humiliating than having your own naked body badly drawn. Milly tries to guilt-trip him -- it's for the sake of art -- but Lelouch does not buy it.
! Lelouch: (thinking to himself) I wouldn't put it past these guys to intentionally muck up their paintings to make a fool out of me... ... (pause) ... ? No, wait, that's not the problem here!
! Rivalz, who apparently had been in the room all along, attempts to be more relevant by moving things along; Lelouch immediately accuses him of supporting Milly's plan knowing full well what it means for him (Lelouch, that is). Rivalz tells him it pains him inside, a little, to hear Lelouch say that, but...
! Rivalz: This is for Milly's sake! For love, I'd go so far as to sell out my friend!
Lelouch: This guy... is an absolute bastard.
! Lelouch begins to plan -- it's easy enough to simply escape, but in all likelihood that will only fuel Milly's demands. The best thing to do would be to make Milly give up on him and prey on someone else instead. Lelouch suddenly lapses into his Evil Zero persona and, with a particularly evil laugh, asks Milly (who wonders why Lelouch suddenly sounds like a certain masked man) how she plans to strip him, when there are a number of people in school who won't sit idly by and let Milly do as she pleases. Rivalz agrees -- Lelouch has his own all-female secret fanclub / personal guard in school, after all. For no apparent reason, Shirley steps viciously on Rivalz's foot upon hearing this. Poor Rivalz, whatever did he do wrong?
! Lelouch informs Milly that if she tries to make a big deal out of the whole thing, most of the students (or rather, his fans) will side with him -- this could mean a backlash during Milly's next event. Milly accuses Lelouch of hiding behind the skirts of women, but Lelouch does not seem concerned, stating that he plans on making full use of his persuasive oratory skillz to rack up sympathy points. Rivalz points out that Lelouch saying it in an airy, dignified way does not change the fact that the contents were nowhere near dignified. Lelouch mildly follows this up with a damning "Which is why the manly Rivalz volunteers for the role of the nude model."
! Rivalz sputters for a bit, but at Lelouch's prompting ("It's for the sake of love, isn't it?") decides that not only will he give the shirt off his back, he'll take off every scrap of fabric on him*!
! (The Japanese saying goes: " _taking off one of my (kimono) sleeves"]. The closest English equivalent: "I'll give you the shirt off my back", which, surprisingly, works well here. This saying comes up again later on.)
! Milly: Huh? I've no need for you.
Rivalz: dies
! Lelouch knows that he's won – now to see if Rivalz will act according to his calculations... Rolo, not sensing the danger, can't stop gushing over how clever his brother is -- that is, until Rivalz tells him he'll have to be the nude model now.
! Rolo is completely surprised at this new development; Rivalz explains that since neither Lelouch nor himself qualifies (albeit for different reasons), the only one remaining is Rolo. Milly is surprisingly receptive to the idea, and, to Rolo's chagrin, begins to, well, molest him while praising his soft, milky white skin.
! Rolo: (discomfited) Please stop touching me!
Milly: Understood. I'll just ogle you instead.
Rolo: Okay. ... ... ? Huh?
! Much to Rolo's disappointment, Lelouch tells him it's a Kaichou Order. Rolo begins to consider his options in his head -- use his Geass and escape? But if he does that, Milly will immediately pounce on Lelouch instead. Oh noes, whatever should he do!?
! Lelouch: Wait, kaichou, not Rolo! He's my only brother -- I can't let you strip him and put him on display!
Rolo: Nii-san!
Milly: Oh ho! So who's going to do it, then?
! Cue overly sappy, Sibling Love soap opera
! Lelouch: (pained... not) If you're going to make Rolo do it... let me--
Rolo: No, I won't allow that! If it's going to be Nii-san... I'll do it instead!
Lelouch: Rolo, but that's--
Rolo: It's alright... I'm doing it for Nii-san...
Lelouch: Rolo...
Rolo: Nii-san...
! Milly, completely annoyed at the sappiness, intervenes. What's up with the classic Poor Villagers (Lelouch and Rolo) vs Evil Magistrate (Milly) scenario? Milly accuses them of being way too uncooperative; why'd they have to run from her? Shirley is of the opinion that Milly should just give up on this plan of hers, but Milly won't hear it.
! Milly: (childishly) No no no! I want to see naked men!
! As Rivalz remarks on Milly not being at all subtle with her perverted desires, Rolo is in Lala-land, happy that Lelouch tried to cover for him again today. For Nii-san's sake, I'd willingly put myself in Kaichou's evil clutches!
! Scene change
! Suzaku, humming cheerfully to himself.
! Suzaku: Kururugi Suzaku, in good spirits today! 4th wall breaker Boy, these extra materials sure makes it a lot easier for me to show up in the Student Council Room. ... Hm? I hear Kaichou screaming. Oh well, nothing unusual there.
! Suzaku enters the room, much to everyone's surprise, and wants to know about this naked something or other thing that's going on.
! Milly: (excessively flirtatiously) Suzakuuuu~uu, I have this once in a lifetime request--
Suzaku: Nope, absolutely not.
Milly: Wow, he's fast.
Lelouch: I'd say that was on par with Lancelot.
! Gino makes his entrance -- apparently he's looking for Suzaku because Suzaku ran out on their "Pick-Up-Girls Contest". Suzaku mildly tells him he can have the victory.
! Gino then acknowleges the presence of Milly, Shirley, "and the rest" in the room. Lelouch is peeved at being grouped under "the rest". Suzaku notices this, and inwardly hopes that Gino and Lelouch won't get into a fight.
! Milly immediately sets her sights on Gino, deliberately reeling him in nice and slow. Gino is oblivious to the danger; Suzaku tries to warn him, but is immediately gagged by Lelouch.
! Milly, in a seductive manner, asks Gino if he would like to be the main star of her "plan". Gino is more than enthusiastic. Lelouch, however, objects to this in an annoyingly snobby manner, stating that Gino will have to wait another 100 years to play the main role of anything. Gino is, understandably, pissed. Lelouch informs Gino that they had just been talking about how Lelouch absolutely has to play the main role. Gino looks to Milly for confirmation, and Milly, caught off-guard, passes it on to Rivalz, who, being quick on the uptake, plays along: "No, it absolutely has to be Lelouch, right, Shirley?". Shirley, not wanting to hurt anyone's feelings, gives an ambiguous "It's hard to say" answer, then passes it on to Rolo, who is COMPLETELY LOST.
! Lelouch: Rolo thinks so, too.
Suzaku: No Comment from me.
! Gino is now absolutely annoyed -- he may have just transferred in and all, but they can't just assume he can't do it! Lelouch immediately moves in for the kill: "So you're saying: "I can do it, and I will!", are you?". Gino, slightly hesitant, signs his own death warrant by saying he can do it.
! Milly: (ecstatic) We'll have Gino give us the shirt off his back!
Gino: (oblivious) You got it! ... ... Er, I still don't know what it is I'm supposed to do, though.
! (*Same play on the Japanese saying Rivalz used earlier; Gino takes it to mean Milly wants him to give his best effort; Milly is, of course, using it in the literal sense.)
! Lelouch, Rivalz and Shirley start buttering up Gino, though Shirley appears to be sincere about it. In response to Shirley's remark that Gino will do fine since he's pretty popular (with the ladies), Gino unabashedly agrees, saying that he's received mountains of love letters.
! They begin to prepare for the "event"; Lelouch goes to inform the Art Club, Shirley's going to see about the heater, and Rivalz will prepare a waiting room for Gino.
! Gino: ? Er, what am I supposed to do, again?
Rivalz: Don't fail us, Knight of Three!
Gino: Right on! ... ... Er, like I said, what...?
! Milly cuts him off by pushing him out of the room. Gino, beginning to panic a little, turns to Suzaku for help.
! Suzaku: (thinking to himself; apologetically) Nothing personal, Gino... but I'd rather be caught dead than be in your position right now.
! Gino exits the rooms amids panicked screams. RIP, Gino.
! Milly, full of energy, walks down the hallway giggling loudly to herself. She'll have to notify the rest of the female student body -- keeping something so wonderfully fun to herself would be going against the women's Code of Honor, after all. She can just hardly wait.

! what is this stuff ?_
so how's everyone filling the void this sunday :)
just bought jump ultimate stars…. i'm doing good
I've rotated Samurai Champloo into my lineup to replace Code Geass. After I finish either that or D.Grayman, I'll move on into Gundam territory like I said I would several pages back.
actually, my roomate just gave me samurai champloo. I should finish up playing metroid prime 2 first, though.
I'm doing quite terribly. The only anime I have to fill the void is Planetes and LOTGH, I can't watch the former because Tamaki's CV is in it and he reminds me of GEASS whenever I watch it. LOTGH is tough to get through, like Ideon was.
I've been tunneling in mahjong…this says how much I miss Lelouch. ;_;
Actually new Family Guy and American Dad are filling the void quite well for me. Not to mention I still have to finish OP second voyage, my second playthrough of Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, and I haven't even started playing God of War.
you seemed to be into the new slayers a month or so back. another group picked up the subs. just go do a search on baka-updates.com
