Holy snap-
The black haired, Eleven paranoid 4 eyes was [CENSORED] in ep. 12?!?! LESBIAN-ISMNESS!It took me a long time to figure out what the hell you were trying to get across with that trainwreck of a sentence. But yeah, that scene was uh… the fact that Nunnally walked in at the end made it oh so wrong.

CONFIRMED news:
According to Newtype Article below:
Code Geass 2 is out for Spring 2008. As you can see in the image above, there’ll be a new boy named Rollo (I didn’t think we needed a shota character, but whatever), and the white text questions if that Zero is actually Lelouch. Also, the setting for the new series will be the entire world instead of mainly Japan.
The entire world? Fuck yes.

@Daisuke:
…
I notice a huge majority of people HATE mis leaded hypocrites, Suzaku was a total hypocrite, but I never found him as an asshole or dick head. That was Mao's role.
it's been a while since I've seen it, but why was Suzuka a hypocrite?
-

Many fans believe it, a part of me does but most of me doesn't to be honest. reason why they think so is because Suzaku wants to free Japan but is in Brittania. Though honestly, I think he is in Brittania just so he can continue maybe settle the score peacefully or something than joining with Lulu alias Zero. I honestly like Suzaku, his sense of justice is interesting, just a lot feel that way about him.
-
ah I see. I think, for Suzuka, he has a strong sence of justice. (fits the role of a knight well) To him, 2 wrongs don't make a right, and if you want to do something, they must be by pure and honest intentions. He is so against Zero's ways, cause zero and his companions are like a big gang, using violence to get what they want. And doing it wrecklessly too. hurting innocent people. Suzuka wants to protect people. He understands that while Britania is evil, the people arn't neccisarily. He wants to work with Britania as a possitive influence.
of coarse there are pros and cons to each aproach, zero's and suzuka's. that's what makes it so interesting. They are both right. They are both wrong. Each succeeded in some way, and each failed in some way. I think it's gonna boil down to who has the most stamina to stand by what they believe and be able to be strong enough to see it through the end. In this sence, I can see Zero faultering. Things are becoming complicated for him already, and more stuff gets added to his equasion, making it not so simple as black and white as he once thought.
Though, right at the end, Suzuka was going a little nuts, and not acting as his "just" self. Letting his anger with Zero cloud his thoughts.
damn it, 2008 that seems so far away. When in 2008? spring, fall?
-
im fine with suzaku as long as he doesnt become "sasuke"

Huh?! :wassat: My mind is now f'cked.
-
! But what the fuck happened to Pizza Butt?
-
@Captain usopp: Suzuka? Ummm, it's Suzaku, lol.
-
I hate Suzaku. He is completely a hypocrite traitor. It's one thing to be idealistic, it's another thing to be fucking retarded about it.
And great news on spring of 2008. I don't quite understand what it means when it says Zero might not be Lelouch? >.> Should be fun. =)

Split personalities I speculate. Perhaps geass gave Lulu "another" person inside him or something.

Suzaku isn't perfect, I agree, not a fan of him either but why the fuck is he an asshole and traitor. Misled, misled is the world to describe him.
-
He killed his own father in the midst of the fight against Britannia. Given the scenario was a tough one on him, he was well aware of what he did.
I have never called him an asshole, although I think he is retarded. He has grand ideals that he seems to think will happen if he works hard enough. He doesn't seem to have really thought it through at all.
I don't think calling him misled would fit him. He hasn't exactly been lead by anyone, he seems to act on instinct and neglects the fact that he can think.

Alias, he makes decisions with his own heart than his own thoughts. I agree through, make your mind up Suzaku, sheesh, will it be Brittania or Japan? His decisions confuse me quite often.

That was one of the things I found screwed up about him, that I agree.

Yeah, I was gonna say. Suzuka's the hot assassin chick from Outlaw Star.

ah, ya, that's right. i'm so terrible with names. well, you know what I mean. ^_^
and i think the whole "zero is not leouch" is someone else posing as zero, and it's not leouch dressed up in there.
-
Watched till ep. 17; I kinda pity poor Mao, but why Lelouch didn't try to get him to his side is beyond me.
-
So I hear Geass' slate on [adult swim] has been announced. About time, though I'm not looking forward to it - I'd rather see Gurren-Lagann appear on there or CN and blow the ratings for all other shows out of the water.
It'll be interesting to see what the viewership of [adult swim] will think with Geass and DN on the same block; those two shows have too many over-lapping themes.
-
They better keep the Pizza Hut license in.

Really? That'll save me money on getting DVDs.

Interesting choice. Hopefully he'll do a good job on Lulu's psycho laughs, especially his laugh on ep 23.

Wow, seriously? Oh the irony that rests in Ramza.

This thought came to mind:
"Ha ha ha ha HAHROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHEEEE hee hee hee!!".
-
So I finished watching it last night, freaking cliffhangers >_<. I personally thought that Euphie's mind control was dumb like the 'lose control of your Geass' HAD to be then, though I wonder if it has anything to do with Z. Z.'s coming…
-
Geass got stupid after episode eleven (how ironic), the Battle of Narita, ended. There were some dumb parts before it, but the show pretty much collapsed in a heap after that one.
Twenty two, while epic, was founded on some really retarded stuff, as you quipped. Twenty five was god awful.
-
Well let's just hope Season 2'll be better, I can see Suzaku promoted and that Shota's prob. got something to do with the Geass.
I wonder if there is a Geass that can revive the dead? …but so far the only info that can be accepted about the Geass' is that they deal with the mind. -
I really need to update my signature. :(
The stretch heading into season two was completely disappointing for me.
I really hope there is not a Geass that can revive the dead. That would be stupid, with potential of ruining the series completely. (DBZ, Heroes)
-
All of a sudden I miss Mao :(.
-
Ya know now that I look back at the anime I wonder-
Why did C. C. want Mao dead? It was obvious that she could put him back into control I mean he worshiped her and all that. -
He was way too erratic, it would have been dangerous to keep him around. Plus, Lelouch's ego is far too large to share C.C. with someone.
-
Yeah, he was too far gone for her to get him back under control. I mean, seriously, he tried to hack her up with a chainsaw.
He was of no use to her anymore, so she had no incentive to keep him alive. And the fact that he was a danger to society really made it necessary to kill him. It was honestly probably better for him anyway. His Geass brought him a lot of psychological torment; I think he probably would have rather died by C.C.'s hands than been locked up and plagued by voices forever. I'm sure she took that into account.
-
I don't think she gives a fuck how society is, as I think society somehow fucked her in the past. I see her as a manipulative bitch working to get what she wants, although I am not sure what she wants.
Mao was no more than a failed experiment to her, keeping him around would have been more of a hassle. I see her playing a role much like Ryuk played with Light in Death Note, as I saw plenty of what I believe to be similarities between the shows.
-
Mao probably worked for Domino's or something.
-

Yeah, that's what I said; I didn't mean to imply that she did it out of concern for society. As I said, he wasn't useful to her anymore so she had no reason to keep him alive. I meant that since he was dangerous he would have had to have been locked up, and while C.C. definitely seems to use people and discard them when she needs to, she appeared to have remnants of feelings for him (probably just guilt), and probably figured that it would be better for him to die by her hands than be dealt with by anyone else.
-
Yeah, I can agree to that completely. She's definitely a character that I expect to die, all that shit has to catch up to her eventually.
-
damn, I'm too late (I thought for sure no one had added anyones name). But does anyone know the whole list of who's going to voice who (if not, just go to ANN)
-
Decided to bump this since i was going to make a thread for this show and did a search first and season 2 has come out and the first episode has airred which was epic discuss
-
For a Gurren-Lagann troll, you really know how lather on the annoying, don't you?
-
Mmmm… why am I not excited for this?
I'll look it up tonight.
-
why does lelouch look so pissed in the whole episode
-

it's not my fault you like bad anime

@MonkeyDMalcolm:

Watching bad anime is still a better pastime than brushing one's teeth with camel dung.
-
Watching bad anime is still a better pastime than brushing one's teeth with camel dung.
did you come up with that one all by yourself
-
Yup, I did indeed.
-
Sorry for ressurrecting the thread, but I saw the first AS episode from last night…and so far I'm not really that impressed with what I've seen. The violence and brutalness aren't bad and the mechs look cool, but a lot of the "Death Note with some weird mind control power" just made it seem like a ripoff, none of the characters seemed that interesting and the first episode was rather cliche. Don't really know if I'm going to keep going or not.
-
I missed it last night but can watch it on adultswim's website along with the Death Note episode I missed… but I didn't know the series was mecha, now I'm not sure about watching it.
-
Watched it last night. At least the firs half of the episode before I changed the channel. This show is really really gay.
Remember when anime didn't suck? Those were the days.
