Ever notice how when movies are broadcasted on basic cable, profanity is dubbed over with another word or phrase? Let's talk about the funniest ones we've heard.
I remember watching a broadcast version of The Matrix, and Neo yelled out "Jeepers Creepers!" when he was supposed to say "Jesus Christ!". Man, that was ridiculously hilarious.
Or how about the the Breakfast Club: "Stupid lazy no good gosh darn son of wench"

Well, it's not one in particular, but I found this funny.
Can't remember what movie it was, but mom had a movie on a few months ago.
ALL cussing was censored to things like Bullspit, Goshdang, Son of a witch, etc.
Anyways, my mom watched the whole movie without realizing the cussing was censored and said to me, "Now why was that movie rated 'R'? There was even anything questionable about it".

I remember watching the broadcast version of Fargo, and every time they said F*ck they'd replace it with fruit, or frozen, or foolish. Examples:
"I'm takin' that fruity car!"
"You're a bald-faced liar. You're a frozen liar!"
"Ya foolish old man!"
"Jerry you get the money and if you're not there I shoot you, I shoot your fruity wife, I shoot your fruity children and I shoot them all in the back of their fruity heads!"
The broadcast version of Mallrats is the only way to watch that movie. Jason Mewes lines are almost completely redubbed.
My favorite censored moment though is Jackie Chan's line in Rush Hour.
"Wassup my Negro"
"This is what happens when you find a stranger in the Alps"
I saw "Liar Liar" once on TV…

Oh yeah, another one I remember was "Child's Play 3". One character mutters "Yes, Sergeant asshole!", but it was dubbed over as "Sergeant airhead"

Hahaha! I remember seeing that not too long ago. It made it even funnier how out of sync it was. That edit must be old, considering "bitch" isn't all that offensive for TV anymore.
I always thought it was funny whenever the word "asshole" was morphed into "airhead".
There should actually a few movies guilty of this. The only ones I know off the top of my head are Child's Play 3 and The Faculty.

I always found the censorship in Smokey and the Bandit hilarious due to how none of the edits were ever in sync. (Although I know most of the time edits aren't). The prime example would have to be "Son of a b****" becoming "Scum Bum". That always makes me chuckle.
