Well, the way I see it, they're dysfunctional and can't work well together. That's why they're sometimes at each others' throat.
But your disagreement doesn't bother me really.

I still have hope for IronMan Las Vegas.
Young X-Men 2; this series should be just about Rockslide, Blindfold and Dust, and I still Cyke is a Skrull in this one.

i hear ya on that one.
! cyke tells a dwindling number of teenage mutants that they have to learn how to kill a more experienced group of mutants? sounds like a suicide mission to me. i guess "cyke" must have missed the part were there arent any new mutants being born….
Reason in Madness was filler, but not the worst. Though your money's much better spent on TB #120 next freaking week.
Also, the Invaders just beat them.
Anybody pick up DCU #0 or plan on reading Final Crisis?
Personally, I'm a little weary of bringing back
! Barry Allen
considering the other fifty Speedsters and that surely there are other living characters that they surely can write about.
Oh yeah. I just learned that Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale will be releasing a Captain America mini in July. I love the team of Loeb and Sale, and seeing them work on my favorite superhero is a dream come true.
It's called Captain America: White.

! I don't think that bothers 'real' Cyclops, but if it indeed is a Skrull it's getting rid of potential mutants that may jepordize their invasion (if YXM is tied indirectly to the SI arc). Actually this in itself is odd; Skrulls can now be undetected so a Skrull disguised as Cyke should be detected as a mutant if that is the case….what if one of the YXM is a Skrull from BEFORE the Invasion? My money's on Ink :P Bah I'll try not to think too much of this and wait for the next issue :D
Anyone read American Dream yet? I hear it's good so far.
Also for all you Mummy fans, the 3rd movie prequel comic is being published by IDW and it is kickass.
So I got paid what Marvel books should I pick up this week? Does Ms Marvel have a Mini Series
No, she has an ongoing series.
Check into Ironman's other miniseries, Invincible Iron Man. It might go someplace. But if you want a fine piece of work that FEATURES Tony Stark rather than star him, check out Captain America.
@Toshiya- Check the IronMan movie thread XD.
BTW Ms. Marvel is also in Mighty Avengers, and that book is great IMO, try to get that one too-
http://www.amazon.com/Mighty-Avengers-Vol-Ultron-Initiative/dp/0785123709/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1210396935&sr=1-1

Only 2 TPBs so far, but they're enjoyable. BTW the Venom Bomb actually concludes in DeadPool #50 (collected in DeadPool vs. the Marvel Universe)
Awesome I'll pick the Ms Marvel book this week. Also Any good Deadpool comics? and Also where was the scan where Deadpool Uppercuts ShadowCat referencing a Street Fighter move.
Invincible is an ongoing, Viva Las Vegas is a mini. You may want to check those two out, or the Quick and the Dead one shot.

Funny you should ask that since someone posted this image on Newarama-

Also some interesting stuff about Young X-Men 2-
http://forum.newsarama.com/showthread.php?t=156510
As for other DeadPool books; there are collected TPBs of Cable and DeadPool, pick them up. There is also a TPB that collects DP's early exploits, IIRC it's called DeadPool: The New Mutants or something like that.
Any in which Deadpool is really comical? All I got of Deadpool is :
Deadpool Vs Hulk.
Deadpool The Circle Chase Issue 1
and the Issue where he is transported to Spider-Man's World in 60's style drawings.
Damn that one hasn't been collected YET, but if DP's TPB sales get up we might see the rest of his original series collected.

^This is the one I was talking about it has all of Circle Chase.
I managed to track down a copy of Batman Adventures: Mad Love. Not only is it a great story about how love can trully screw you up, but I was quite surprised to see some of the things in there considering it was based on the Batman Animated Series of the 90s. There was blood, lust, and mild swearing. But ignoring that, it really is a good story. You guys should try to track it down.
And Avengers/Invaders#1 is pretty good. Migh go somewhere good.
Currently reading: Nightwing & Simon Dark. Pretty good so far. Simon Dark needs more readers.
I also downloaded Harley Quinn#1, and it's HORRIBLE. Someone please tell me that the series gets better.
New X-Men was one of the BEST stuff I've read in a while, I loved all the characters introduced (and was) in it, but mostly Surge, Rockslide, Hellion, Elixer, Dust, Mercury, Sofia & X-23.
Issue 31 had to be the BEST issue IMHO.
I had a dream last night (seems I'm having dreams every night now) where a new Avengers comic book was coming out featuring my dream team. I was so happy. Here was the roster. (Maybe I've been reading my Avengers thread at NF too much)
! 1. CAPTAIN AMERICA
Cap is respected by practically every super hero in the Marvel Universe. He's the man you want to lead any time in any crisis. He's also my favorite super hero of all time, so of course I'd cast him as my Avengers leader.
! 2. HAWKEYE
I see Clint Barton as a Captain America in training. I see him as a man who, with a little more training (and a good writer) could lead a team with a man is down, and exist to inspire just like ol' Captain America. Plus, I'm a fan of archery.
! 3. STORM
She can control the weather, which in my eyes makes her one of the most valuable fighters in the Marvel Universe. She's someone you definetly want on your side. For those reasons, I cast her as my third choice for Avengers.
! 4. THE SENTRY
The Avengers usually have two members who are noted for being extremely physically powerful. The Sentry is my choice for powerhouse number one. When you are known for having the power of one million exploding suns, you know there's little that can stop you.
! 5. THE THING
My second powerhouse. I've recently read a little mini-series called The Thing: Night Falls on Yancy Street and it was brilliant. It really gave me a love for the character and realize Ben Grimm is one of the more interesting powerhouses in the Mavel Universe. He's got a lot of drama to him.
! 6. DAREDEVIL
Matt Murdock is the most popular Marvel hero to never have joined Earth's Mightiest Heroes. Don't you think it's time that changed? I know he's turned down the offer to join before, but a good writer can find a way around that. His fighting power and acrobatics are great, but his true strengths lie in his radar-like "sixth sense".
! 7. MISTER FANTASTIC
I wanted a genius on the team, an inventor of sorts. I've come to realize that Reed is far more intelligent and also just as troubled as Hank Pym (who I originally wanted but decided to replace), giving an equal amount of brains and drama. Plus, there is the stretching ability. It's nice that it reminds me of One Piece for obvious reasons.
! 8. ARACHNE
Spider-Woman is good and all, but I'd like to see Julia Carpenter back in the spotlight again. I chose her not only because I needed more women on the team, but I think her powers have been vastly underused in the past. She could be a realy heavy hitter and vital fighter for the team.
! 9. WAR MACHINE
Did you see James Rhodes in the Iron Man movie? Hands down, he's on the team. I've always found War Machine to be a more ambitious character than Iron Man. Plus War Machine isn't intimidated by power. I like that. There's also the need for at least one black male. That's like a requirement for….. some reason. That, and obviously I like him more than Tony for his personality and what I believe to be the best color design for the Iron Armor.
! 10. DEATHLOK
I wanted a major weapons-user on my team. I know the Punisher would never work, so I went with Deathlok. The guy's a great character that's been grossly underused. His only appearance in recent time in a cameo in New Avengers. The guy deserves more than that, the guy deserves to be an Avenger.
Cap is dead. :p
I don't know if Deathlok deserves to be an Avenger, but he is an awesome character. He might be getting a solo book soon.
What makes you say he might be betting a solo book? Heard some news?
I'm stoked for Final Crisis, because I've been getting pissed at Darkseid getting thrown around by people like Superman all the time being a god, and think it'll finally be his time to shine

Gotta love what happened to them.
Hey Thor fans,
Wrestler Triple H is rumored to be in talks to play Thor. I don't know why, the guy can't act and doesn't even look like Odin's son.
I heard they want Brad Pitt.
And if you wanna be technical, HHH looks like Ultimate Thor to a t.
At least Brad can act.
And Matthew McConaughey is rumored to play Captain America. Don't know a thing about Matthew, so I have nothing to gripe about. Though I would like Loren Dean or James Caviezel to play him.
@The:

Give him some long hair and a beard and we're all set to go.

Don't remember Ultimate Thor having a large nose though.
@AWB:

Yep. When I went to the Joe Q panel at Comicon, someone asked about Deathlok getting a revival, and it's indeed something they are tossing around.
Sweet. Also thanks, I've been waiting for him to be brought back. Should have told us sooner though.
Anything else you heard that you may want to tell us?
The Emma Frost miniseries….is really her 'origins' and what happened in her past to a certain point before she joined the Hellfire Club.
I found the series OK, but the settings and stuff it's way too cliche.
I still prefer Emma>Jean tho.
Physically, HHH matches up, but he happens to be a moron. For Cap, I don't really see any big Hollywood names being up to it.
@Freeman-12:
….I'm sorry I do not follow:ninja:
Exactly.
Batman RiP checklist-
Batman #676-681
Detective Comics #846-850
Nightwing #147-150
Robin #175-76
Batman and the Outsiders #11-13
@The:

so deathlok is in the works for a revival, and xman only gets hinted at? marvel needs to bring back mutant jesus.

Venom is coming back in the Spidey storyline, but you guys knew that already (Anti-Venom). Joe Kelly's doing a run on Spider-Man this year. Absolute possibility of Hercules vs. Ares vs. Thor vs. Sentry. Marvel Apes confirmed. And that's all I really gave a crap about off the top of my head.
Picked up Thunderbolts#120 today.
Wow. This is a must read.
Some of the best Norman writing ever.
"A pig coughed and you fell out!!"
Thunderbolts 120 and Guardians of the Galaxy #1 made this a kick ass week for Marvel
oh and
time to meet the cast of Final Crisis #2, some interesting characters Mr. Morrison is brining into the crisis in issue 2
!
oh and someone better fucking make a BIG SCIENCE ACTION miniseries about that event in Ultimons description
Damn this day was GOOD-
SI: FF #1-
! OK issue, hope some clobberin' takes place in the next one :D
Cap Britain & MI13-
My sig.
Guardians of the Galaxy-
! Good issue, I really enjoyed it. Tho I HATED how that precog chick just went and said that someone was gonna die along with mentioning how it HAS to happen or the cosmos is fucked, ugh!
Next issue looks good, and here's hoping for MOAR Cosmo
Batman 676 (RiP #1)-
! I have no idea WTF is going on nor the villians he is gonna face. Is one of them Joker tho? Still I'll keep reading it to know these villains.
X-Men 211-
! More of Prof. X in his soul search, Gambit appears in the next ish
Legacy of Doom 2…I thought it was good :)
SI: FF felt way too short to me. Though I do enjoy the writer's take on The Thing. I love it when The Thing talks weird. "Oh… my... Aunt... Petunia."
Based on your reviews, Freeman, I take it you haven't read the latest issue of Thunderbolts. I highly recommend you do. It's by far the greatest book to come out this week.
Nah I'd….actually have to give that to The Twelve. But there was some real competition (TB of course, MI 13, Wolverine).

Yeah I keep hearing good stuff about it so I might start my 'collection' of it in the near future :)
Read X-Men Origins: Colossus, and it was a fun read, pick it up if ur a fan of one of the most stoic X-Men in the group. It's basically a retelling of how Piotr gained his mutant powers and eventually joins the X-Men.

Since when does a mutant gain his powers in the Marvel Universe?
…well in case u didn't know, usually when a human reaches a certain age, their mutant DNA/gene awakens and gives them their 'powers'. If you'd read The New X-Men (Academy X), there is in issue that shows how Mercury gained her powers.
BTW anyone care to recommend some Dr. Strange stuff to read?
Agents of Atlas was entertaining-

Sure I know, "to gain his powers" just sounded like Colossus has to got bitten by a radioactive piece of metal to … well, gain his mutant powers. I just misread your comment that the mutant gene is not in them ab initio. No offense.
@Freeman-12:

The only thing I really can recommend is "Doctor Strange and Doctor Doom: Triumph and Torment" because that's in fact the only Strange tale (buahaha) I read, all the other stories I know Dr. Strange from are his cameos in comics of other heroes (and because of this cameos I like him so much).
But I really can recommend the DVD movie "Doctor Strange: The Sorcerer Supreme".
Captain America #38 coming out this Week. The latest issue of CA is the highlight of my comic-obsession lifestyle each month.
