Not an asshole, just given completely insane and paranoid by the pressure and burden he had to carry from being the king of Midland.
I hated how they removed that from the anime. It made the character pointless. He was just a "nice king", which is kinda dumb.

Got to admit I'm anxious for Griffith to get his fight with Ganishka over with. I like what's going on with Midland and the new Band of the Hawk, but I want to see Elfhelm dammit.

A seinen author with over ten years on a series with that level of artwork who takes a month or two off is reasonable.

Nothing like Togashi.Ah I'm not talking about the breaks per se, its more of the twenty pages every 2 weeks thing. I mean i understand the art takes a lot more time to draw than Togashi's(even now, after sorta comparing those two, i feel like a fucking jackass} or shounen artwork in general, but iunno, I'd like to get a bit more content(I'm not asking like fifty pages or anything, more around 25} for each chapter.

Well, i haven't read to the end but right now the whole situation really sucks.
It started out so nicely with her being the second best (then third) fighter of the hawks and all but now it's back to the usual "What a pain i must drag the useless girl around and protect her (maybe i should just rape her)."
K, maybe the raping part ain't that common.

Yea, the situation with Caska gets pretty tiresome after a while, but there's a pay-off coming, and it should be more than worth the ride.

Buuhan@: The general notion of that storyline being godawful repetitive tedium is what I was rallying behind. As a famous (un-famous???) hater of Naruto its important to note that it was that very arc that turned me from a fan into a hater.
