Perhaps for larger mp3's or batch requests. But most of the files are quite small, 2-4mb a song, so I don't really see the point of zipping files.

btw, can anybody help me? I have an album of one piece here: one piece best song collection. but the song list on the cover is in japanese letters, I don't understand. Torrent link to the PV for Shining Ray by Janne Da Arc (ED8). Too bad there are no current seeds, but it's only new, so there's bound to be a reseed at some point.

I've started watching the anime recently, and since this thread is also a discussion, I was wondering: What music do you guys think they'll play when Luffy duels with Usopp?
In the end of the "Captain" Chapter, i can help hearing the lyrics of family, going silently and softly in the background. If I ever watch that episode, and I hear "mother ship" sung softly while the episode ends, I think I'll burst into tears.
Anyway, Just a random thought.I'd like to request "Family" by the way ^^!

It might be entirely new music. It seems like some new music pieces get introduced generally for each new major story arc. It's gonna be saaaaad in any case. :(

Basically all the new music is composed for the movies and then transferred over to the anime. You can hear a large movie 5 influence in the Davyback Fight and newest episodes, Ao kiji's theme anyone?
I'm not sure how they'll handle W7, perhaps we'll hear some stuff from the newest movie, though I've yet to find a rip of the soundtrack, so I haven't heard it yet. :(

Anyway, Just a random thought.Yeh, I've also been thinking about it. If I were calling the shots, I'd go "I'll Cut You" (45 - Movie 5) for the build up when Usopp arrives and then move into "Shuraiya VS Needorusu" (18 - Movie 4) for the first part of the fight.
Then after Usopp uses kaenboshi on the gas, the last bit of the fight takes a real serious tone, I'd use "Kihaku no Kenshi Zoro" (25 - Movie 2) to end the fight. Not really sure how I'd handle the last bit, when Luffy decides to leave Merry and Usopp behind, probably "Mother Sea" (9 - Music & Song 3) would work best, it's a very slow, sad song.
I'd like to request "Family" by the way ^^!

It's actually not Shanks' seiyuu singing in that song, it's just a song about Shanks. :P

Franky, there are a couple of songs I was looking for…I wasn't reading this thread in the beginning, so I don't know if it was already posted, but one song is used in the credits of the Soccer special (it was used in an episode too but I forget which one) that sounds like Luffy's commercial bumper theme, and the other is a dramatic piece that is played at the end of episode 47 when they're talking about going to Loguetown. If you have these, I would be very grateful if you can put them up. :D And if you already did and the link expired, sorry for extra trouble. :(

Second is 'I'm Becoming the King of Pirates!' used in episode 47.

Ok, I have a tough one. I'm looking for episode 86's music when Hiluluk faces Wapol while Kureha beats up Chopper.
It's a two-part piece. I think the second is Schubert's Ave Maria but I can't find the right version with these voices. And I don't know where the first part comes from. If you know at least the full title (not just Ave Maria, but who performs the track also), I could refine my search. If you have it, then it'd be great. I own all original soundtrack cds (including movies, and soon movie 6 I ordered from cdjapan) but was very disappointed not to find the track on any of them.

Wow, that is a toughie. I can't identify the first part, and I really don't know what ver. of 'Ave Maria' Toei used. I have two different versions of 'Ave Maria' on my hdd which sound nothing like the insert used in the anime.
So there might be a chance that that version was specially composed or mixed for the anime, it may not exist outside that episode. :(

This isn't a request, more a question. There are these to songs that are played during fight scenes that I particularly enjoy. I'd like to know their titles. ^_^
The first one has a fast beat to it. More specifically, it was played when Sanji was kicking the shit out of Kuroobi.
The second one was played in ep.119, when Mr.1 rushed at Zoro at the begining of the episode.
So, can someone help me out?
