Peach using her crown as a weapon is killer! Superspicy Curry is from Kirby? I don't remember that at all, but it looks fun.
Super Smash Bros Brawl

All right, we've got some Kirby's Dreamland (Gameboy) love goin' on!
-
Yup, it was a Kirby item.
And a pretty awesome one. Great update.
-
Diddy's doing a "looking kinda cool" face with the eyes. 0.o
The expressions the characters show are really quite detailed.
-
She took her crown off in SSBM too. And yeah, that veggie is bigger. I wonder if the size changes on all of them to indicate power. I definitely could not see the facial expressions for shit in melee.
Yeah, you're right. Now I sort of recall Peach beating people with the crown.
-
So if Yoshi, already in his Super Dragon mode, consumes that, does he just get more fire spewed out of him?
-
Man that's going to rock if only for the expression.
Personally I think the final smash/smash ball will override other items.
-
The curry is kickass.
Interestingly enough, I'm cooking Curry right now… I'm a little afraid about how much spice I've put in it now that I've seen this...
-
If you're don't spontaneously combust after the first taste, you need to add more spice.
-

Really? I've never played the Kirby's Dreamland games (I started with the series at Kirby Superstar), so I assumed that it was based off of an anime episode that centered around Chef Kawasaki in a competition with a Nightmare-made monster chef.
-
I had curry for lunch. Coincidence? I think not!
-
This update was ok. Never really played the Kirby games.

Yup, its an item from the first Kirby game, Kirby's Dreamland for the Gameboy. Kirby didn't have the whole eat-enemies-to-copy-power ability then; the curry was the stuff that gave him temporary fire power.
-
I could see Super Mario RPG providing some of the bosses
Axem Rangers
Smithyetc
and the possibility of alot of bosses makes me hope they bring back the events from Melee since those with a whackload of massive sized enemies could be interesting

The mints let him fly and shoot a bunch of air shots!

@Cap'n:
The mints let him fly and shoot a bunch of air shots!
God, I loved mint leaf from that game!
That blimp boss was a pain in the ass in the "Extra" mode though.
-
I hope tommorow is a Pokeball (hopefully a 4th Gen) or a Stage, as we're overdue for either.
And, of course, said updates show more of Diddy and P.T.
-
About Petey Piranha:
Petey Piranha looks awesome.
It cool that you can only save one of the princesses from Petey Piranha.About today's update:
The Superspicy Curry is an awesome item.
It's cool that you can shoot flames at your opponents. -
I'll place a bet for tomorrow being an update in the "Game Modes" category.
-
I'll bet Brand new character or a Stage since we have not done one since Castle Siege
-
I love how wrong some people can be when they say " I'll bet.."
-
I'll bet the next update will be Claris Sinclair.
-
That is Cr444zy!
-
man I'm hoping kid Link makes it in, but not as a clone instead as his own character using his masks, he could be like pokemon trainer but switching between masks. and his FS would be fierce deity Link
-
I think it's safe to say (though clearly anything is possible) that young link is gone, though the masks would be a cool play style.
WW link has a chance though.
I'm (as always) expecting a stage. I mean we got 4 last month and 3 the month before (or vice versa) and only one this month.
-
What I want to see is a new stage. It's been a while since the last one. But don't get me wrong, I'll take a new character over a stage anyday.
-
Oh baby yes! Andross!
-
looks like we see some move updates too. Looks like Meta Knight may be the next character to show if they show a character.
-
Yeowch! Look at Wario's jaw! Attacks in this game always seem funnier when the munchikins of the roster get hurt. Finally some info about Meta-Knight!!!
-
original Andross
YES PLEASE
-
Fuck Andross. MetaKnight looks so much better.
-
So Andross is an assist trophy and not a mini-boss? Wonder how that happened.
Other update about the specials wasn't telling us anything new, but it was an exellent showcase for Metaknight's moves.
-
Awesome update. Maybe Star Wolf will appear as Fox's adversary in Adventure mode..
And finally, some Metaknight info. Though it's still odd how he hasn't gotten a profile yet.
-
Maybe the 64/Adventures version of Andross will be a boss. They were two separate trophies in Melee, so it is a possibility that they would be considered two different characters for the purposes of this game.
Also: Meta Knight finally has a moveset!!!
-
This was actually a pretty damn good update.
It explains special moves to newer players, we get to see MetaKnight in action, and we get an awesome AT on top of all that. I find it pretty bad ass that we get the SNES Andross.
-
I could repeat everything Tonfa just said, but instead I'll just agree with him and go play Star Fox.
-
Hooray! two updates again!,Meta Knight's move set and Andross as a Assist Trophy,I think the monkey version of Andross will be a boss if not than Wolf
-
I wonder how they can look to the back like that…
I also wonder if this AT also hits the person who summoned it, or if blocks just go through them.

Maybe it has something to do with the Havok engine? Or maybe it's just scripted like that. They've been seen doing that a few times.
shrug
It's nice to see Metaknight's moves. He actually uses his forward B in Super Star, right? I know it looks familiar. And Shuttle Loop was the name of one of the combos you can do with Kirby's sword power, I think..
-
I think that the character who summons the Assist Trophy becomes the Assist Trophy
-
I think that the character who summons the Assist Trophy becomes the Assist Trophy
Doesn't seem to be that way here. But in some of the shots it does look that way, huh? -
I don't think that's the case.
-
Perhaps theres some sort of quick animation sequence upon arrival of an Assist Trophy?
-
Maybe the person had fallen off the stage as Andross was summoned? Haha, doubt it though.
-
1.Andross looks creepy..not sure what version he is… I thought andross was a ape?
2.Smashville looks great
-
This is the original, much cooler Andross.
And also: ANDROSS.
-
1.Andross looks creepy..not sure what version he is… I thought andross was a ape?
He is, this is just the first version of him from the first Star Fox on the Super Nintendo.
-
Andross wasn't an ape until SF64. Remember his two trophies from Melee?
-
In both the fights with Andross there are only three players, so perhaps Andross is being piloted or something?
Or, more likely, they're playing a three player battle.
-
Oh man! What a feeling of nostaligia Star Fox brings back to me. Doing barrel rolls is fun again.
