Ok I recently got re-addicted to Golden Sun, and I'm kinda lost at a part. All my members are at level 17, and Ivan and Mia are the only ones that have 2 Djinns. Last night, I found another water Djinn, and I wanted to give it to Mia, but I can't somehow. Is there a limit to how many Djinn each person can have or what?
Golden Sun…Need help with Djinns

Mmm, GS… been a long time since I played that! As best as I remember, Djinn have to be evenly spaced between characters.

Yea, both Ivan and Garet (Was that his name?) both need to have 2 Djinn too
-
I figured that they need to be placed evenly, but I also know that each Djinn should be set to the right people. Earth Djinn go to Isaac, Fire goes to Garet, Wind goes to Ivan, and water goes to Mia. So far: 1 Earth Djinn, 1 Fire Djinn, 2 Wind Djinn, and 3 water Djinns.

Ummm, you don't HAVE to have them on the right people lol

There are only a fininite amount of Jinns in the game. And it will end in the middle of the story. To get the WHOLE story, you will need Golden Sun 2. You have to look all over for Jinns, and some are require a lot of thinking to reach. Some can be found on the overworld map in random monster battles. (You have to be in the right spot to find them.) I think there are 7 for each element…)
But in a long battle, if you use the Jinn's special abilities throught the fight, you can accumulate enough standby Jinn's of the same element to do a super strong attack. Then the Jinn's will re-equipt 1 or 2 rounds later. (One at a time.)

But it's always nice - wouldn't have to go, "oh crap, Isaac can't heal me because he's an assassin now!"
Plus their elemental strength are highest with their respective djinn (pure lv. 4 summons deal the most damage if it's the right elemental character). It'd be veeery odd to have Ivan get a fire boost after using a mars summon when he's normally wind.
