Did anyone ever notice how broken some characters are? For instance, Robin can completely stop anyone with her R+X move and then beat the shit out of them with regular attacks. She's pretty much the reason Axel Heat was put in the game, at least to me.

Then there's Usopp, who's pretty much the best long-range character. Just use Shurikens (R+X) and then Hot Salsa Star (R+O) and your opponent won't even be able to get near you.

Also, I've finally buckled down and continued Usopp's Captain Mode. Damn, some of these objectives are hard (beating Tashigi with an item took FOREVER), and it doesn't really help my two strongest characters (Usopp and Krieg) barely scratch level 60. Back to the grind, I guess…

Maybe he was revamped in Grand Adventure and I never noticed, but I always thought Usopp was flagrantly one of the worst characters in the game. I think Chopper beat him by a few points in that regard, though.

Close range, yeah, Usopp isn't very good. His attacks are weak and his X -> X -> X combo ain't too good when close up, but longrange he's deadly because of the fire.

And also, his secret move is awesome. Nothing ever beats Usopp Hammer.

Chopper is pretty decent... Abuse hop -> X and use it when your enemy is about to get up and they'll get hit by it unless the guard... >_> R+X makes him invulnerable for a few seconds while he's charging, I think...

or the jump Attack where you open a bottle of potion. as if that worked when i had to play as chopper against other characters.

so far my best are Zoro and Sanji as in control and attack wise.
Still finishing the Buggy,crocodile and smoker levels
Right now I dont like the AI.. for some odd reason when fighting bon clay..he kept saying something about Octopods XD

Also, I've never really had problems with broken characters. Cause in some of the game a lot of characters are hard. I remember getting lucky as Bon-bon with the Shanks fight (forget which story mode, but it was in Alabasta desert) upon killing everyone else I got him into the corner of the screen and spammed Krazy Karate, he couldn't do crap and I just beat his ass to death.

I did not complain, cause the fight kicked my ass a few times prior.

out Of all the characters Chopper is the worst Im that type of guy who likes to use AAA attack but Choppers sucks It barelly does any damage
ussop is my best character though.

to Buuhan 1 Mr.2 and his Crazy Karate is what i spam out every time I fight shanks they make him powerful.

Lucky Roux takes out a huge chunk of health and his helpers are hard to kill cause you got Shanks trying to fight you.

I have a bit of a problem…

First of all, I lost my main memory card, which contained all of the data for my most frequently-played games. However, my point is that I recently started playing Grand Adventure again, but I'm getting rather pissed off at the mission in Luffy's Adventure Mode, where I have to defeat Nami without KO'ing her.

How in the FUCK am I supposed to do that when she's so hellbent on KO'ing HERSELF every chance she gets?! Seriously, she keeps jumping into the water with Mohmoo or blowing herself up and shit! It's rather frustrating, so I was wondering if anybody had any tips?

Try pushing her away from the ringout, I guess. I was probably just lucky when I did that.

Shanks is clearly satan, I was stuck on him for a while on the last board in Usopp's captain mode. The supports wouldn't be ass annoying if they weren't so strong. Literally one hit from Beckman took out a half bar of health, and since he attacks twice in a row, that's one full bar down.

Still, he's not as bad as fucking Mr. 1. He's fast, strong, hits twice in a row AND it makes you flinch. God damn, I hate him.

right now.. I cant get one bonus…. I think its buggy captain mode but on wapols level you have to have perfect score/health..but right at the start he does the spin attack or chomp attack to ruin my HP.

I finally got the bonus for the "Don't KO Nami" mission, but it was pretty much luck that allowed me to do it. However, after I finished it, I learned that Usopp seems to be the best person for that job, because of his long-range attacks. However, as they say… "Hindsight is always 20/20."

Currently, I'm on the Drum Kingdom map and I just finished up the Whiskey Peak mission (I just HAD to do it with Zoro! lol). I'll play some more later, because I've already spent a few hours unlocking stuff.

Use Crocodile. Stay away from Yasopp the whole fight. Focus on killing Lucky Roux and Beckman, and Shanks should be a piece of cake. >_>

If you open the playstation after the match starts, but before the supports appear, they go away for the whole fight :/

Make sure you shut it when you do a secret attck or when you win though.

I used Crocodile all the way till lv. 100 because I cheat with poison. o_O;

Poison/flame + throws from CPU = a very hurt CPU

Aside from the annoying spams the CPU seem to do in this game, the excess poison/flame damage was just not in Rush.

You also seem to lose the ability to knock an opponent silly by jumping on them with a stack of boxes...

Crocodile is pretty broken… >_> I mean, lots of people can juggle, but Crocodile can poison while juggling...

And poison is why I love to use Dr. Kureha. XD

But the excessive damage seems to be against you... The AI is on fire for about 1 second, but you are on fire until you die? >> The enemy is poisoned for about 5 seconds, but you're poisoned until you lose half your health? >>;

But you mean the stun? You can do that by whacking enemies with boxes, certain attacks (Usopp's X-O, Sanji's R+O), and running into boxes so they hit the enemy... -_-; I only know this because one of my friends ALWAYS spams stunning moves until I'm stuned...

I'm having trouble with the one Rumble Battle sequence in Usopp's mode– where you have to clear out 30 foes in 60 seconds (incl. the Baroque Works from Mr. 4 pair on up). I can only rarely finish on time, and have little if any shot of hitting the "finish with 70% health" bonus because my panic to complete tends to undermine conservative, safe strategy. I'm trying to use a Level 100 Arlong because he's honestly the only real meat I have.

I always used Krieg and his nailgun special for that one. As well as AAA for cleaning out Mr 1, Lassoo, etc.

Krieg's X -> X -> O move is for big groups. For supports like Lasoo, who attack when you get close, use the Poison Suction (!!!).

#1.. you have to be able to fill all 3 blocks on your attacks by collection coins
#2.. each secret attack involves L2 and certain buttons example:
Zoros Attack is L2+O+O+OSecret attack
Luffy L2+O+O+X

After you launch attack there is a mini game..strength,Wisdom,and tech… sort of like Rock paper scissors.... if you fail the game only the 1st part of the attack will happen.. you win.. you get part 2 of the attack which is mroe damaging... otherwise what I did was press start,go to commands and look under secret attack

Luffy is the only one with 2 attacks while the rest have 1 attack.

Question:Luffy has 2 secret attacks:storm and Cannon(rapid fire) all I can do is the cannon attack? how do I do the Storm attack?

I got the game used, it didn't have a guidebok, I sort of just had to figure out te moves.

just press start and there is a option called Command Controls..lists all possible moves

Press start on the controller while playing the game and hit the character move list button. You don't need to the manuel.

As for my top 3:

3. Enel/luffy (good with both of them so it's hard to say)

Hold L (unsure of what it is for PS2) while selecting Luffy, and you can use Storm as his Ultimate attack.
