I thought Shanks is in it.
Too bad no Ace though.

To unlock shanks, beat the game with luffy on hardest difficulty.
(doesnt state which mode)
And for Special Rush, i donno how it's writtien in japanese, but
Ou-ghi Rush…. I'm not sure.
To Unlock Mihawk (not sure) = Beat (blank) mode, with Zoro, hardest difficulty. Mihawk comes out 5th level, finish Mihawk with Special. (I'm not sure but it says you can get hit with Mihawks special and die to continue and beat him.)
Hardest Mode can be unlock when you clean Hard mode with more than 10 Characters.
Grogy Ring can be unlocked by winning davy back fight 3 times.
Playdata? : When Hardest mode is cleared
I'm not sure, but these are info i got from sites. Its better than nothing, i can tell you that.
And the "supposedly finished" character select screen.
heres a link for Smoker Vs Zoro.
http://www.playboard.co.kr/play.asp?bid=PB…05/03/19/jr.WMV
right click, save as, you know the drill.
its pretty slow download though.. 3:43 seconds of video.
Awesome… Shanks looks pretty badass.
Haha, that costume and pose (for his artwork) came from one of the COlor Walks, where all of the characters are doing sports.
Well there are a lot of new characters and it's very nice. But I'm still quite disappointed sadly. There could have been more, I'm REALLY surprised Ace wasn't put in… Like I was only being optimistic about Bellamy, but Ace is like a staple character... I was expecting Vivi also, and possibly Wapol. Ah well... It'll still be the best game ever.
19 characters - 3 more than the previous game. That's a plus.
I really don't understand Bandai. What is so hard to put the existing characters and stages in the new game?
but atleast it rocks it looks soooooo coool

In all honesty, I have NO idea why they had any desire to put HINA in the game in the first place.
I'd rather see all the East Blue villains back than stinky Hina and Wiper.

**In all honesty, I have NO idea why they had any desire to put HINA in the game in the first place.I'd rather see all the East Blue villains back than stinky Hina and Wiper.**
But you know, they didn't have to take them out. For what? Even GC disc, it can hold a lot more space. Look at Kinnikuman, Naruto or Dragonball Z Budokai, there are over 30 playable characters.
They even cut animation in final battle in GB3 which I think it was very cool. When you faced the final boss, you can see a short animation before fight. Also, they didn't have to take Jaya Island and Sky Island stages out.
I think they named this Grand Battle Rush because they rushed it. That's why it's not a really complete game. May be I have to look forward for Grand Battle 4 when Water 7 arc finish (probably next year). For people who don't have GB3 yet, I still recommend you to buy it.
Those games also play differently from the GB games.
You're acting like GB3 didn't throw out a lot of characters from the previous games.
You should know that GB3 is for different consoles than GB1 and GB2. They had to started everything over again but this time it's different. They could just put stuff that they already made in the new game. Why did they take those stuff out when they didn't have to? They could just put Jaya Island and Sky Island stages in. They could just add Gonfuru as a Chopper or Nami assistant.
Also, Hina, Wiper, Ohm and Ace, they could just put them in this game. They already have models and animation for them, Hina can have Jango (marine) or Fullbody as her assistant. Wiper can have Braham or Kamakiri as his assistant. Ohm can have Gadatsu, Shura or Satori as his assistant. Ace can just have his boat as his assistant (like how AOkiji has his bike as his assistant).
I didn't say those games play exactly same as GB. I said there are MORE stuff in those games, definetely characters and stages.
To be honest, I kinda regret my money a little bit. Remember they advertised that there are 55 characters in this game. Of course, I didn't expect that it's gonna be 55 playable characters but only 19 is hardly acceptable (for me).
Please healpppppppppp does anyone try it on the PS2?

Whoa whoa, Stinky? Hina had the coolest special EVER! That was enough to keep her int he game!
Now my chances of seeing [Marine] Jango and Fullbody in this game are slim to none…;_;
I read and i don't understand does you talking a bout the Play Station version or the NITINDO GAME CUBE version?
I read and i don't understand does you talking a bout the Play Station2 version or the NITINDO GAME CUBE version?
It's not different. It's totally same.
So Aokiji is in the ps2 and the NGC will thanks and i am sorry for the trouble i make for you.
Will i am with Cap'n Carter because i don't know were they get her moves i don't see her fighting in the anime.
They already made up a lot of moves for almost characters, like Aokiji, I didn't see a lot of his moves in manga too. I doubt if we will see more than thai in anime. Same thing applies to Smoker, Mihawk and Shank. I think I didn't see much of Arlong's moves too. All I saw was his sword thing and his strength. I also never ever see Chopper swing his bag arround and attack enemies.
Thats totaly true, how do they decide which moves to acquire to each character like will they do these moves in the anime later on or is it just for the games
If those are the only characters…
Then who's that in the middle? Looks like Big bun… It says playable too... There should be more characters than just those 19...
It's Foxy. Compare it with the character select screen on the previous page.
WOW!
I was looking at it from a WHOLE different perspective… I was concentrating on the right side and it looks JUST LIKE Big Bun! Foxy's nose made the illusion of BB's beard... I see Foxy now... But wow, can anyone else see how I made my mistake, it's pretty cool. It's almost like they're both in one picture.

Enel's support is Jambure (thunder dragon) it comes out anything that gets near it gets electrocuted.
The games super attack system is completely re-done. Characters now have 2 real-time super attacks (meaning that the move can be blocked, stoped, avioded, or miss.) it also adds a new level combo ability for that game (love it or hate it but me, I love it) and everyone has a big level 2 uber cinema super attack (like the level 2 supers of old GB games).
In all of the clips, I've seen a countdown to the ultimate special… What is that for, it is REALLY a countdown or do you have to press a series of buttons to activate it, almost like a fatality in Mortal Kombat?
well ive been wondering to but what exactly is support

The best I can answer this one is no you don't have to press any buttons while the coutdown goes. To tell the truth I'm not sure what the coutdown is for as I haven't even gotten one of those animations like where Luffy tries for Gomu Gomu no Storm and then just gets tired. You can succseuly pull off a level 2 special in two ways;
1. Grab a diamond that falls out of the red chests (they appear from time to time)
2. At 13% or less health and 2 super meters full@Mar 20 2005, 01:06 AM
well ive been wondering to but what exactly is support
_
A support character comes out and will help in attacking the opponent. This helps alot in hard and hardest mode as the AI get alot cheaper with combos and characters with good range are the worst (Usopp and Buggy for example). Support characters can cancel out some of their attacks and give the chance to get your gear together. The support will stay on screen for a few seconds and then leave, they can not be killed but they can be knocked off ledges or into water.
who is the support for:
NAMI and ROBIN?
Nami's support is Genzo for some reason… I'm not sure who Robin's support is, I'm guessing... Banchi?
Her hands, Mr.4 and Miss Merry Christmas.
I completed training mode with everyone but it did unlock nothing. Anyone know how to unlock Marine stage?
Well, there has been rumors of Ace being in the game, but
I doubt it. I'll give you the pic so you can see for yourself.
Well, i thought the picture of ace was from grabattle 2, but i guess not
Could be from grabattle 3, but i never played it. and that Question mark looks
fishy.
I think it's fake.
hey did you play the game and this is what happened to you or did you find a picture, by the way do you read japanese or you play with luck or something
To be honest, I used action replay codes to unlock all characters, costumes and cards. There's no more than 19. I can say that picture is fake.
ps. I still need to unlock marine stage.

I thought Mr. 4 and Miss Merrychristmas were Bon Clay's support? o.o
opps, sorry. Mr.3 and Miss Goldenweek are Robin's assistants.
i just found the pic somewhere.
and i knew it was fake….
Damn...
whats the fun in using codes to finish a game anyway doesnt anybody have a translation of the game you know like what gamefaqs did for grand battle 3
People have different ways to enjoy the game. I have life. I need to do something else for my life too. I need to work, study, go out, eat, etc. I just hate doing the same thing over and over again (like what I did whith Naruto 3). It's totally boring me.
And no, there's no translation. At least for right now. If there was one, I would have unlocked everything already.

You weren't really polite too. Anyway, I didn't mean to be rude by the sentence "I have a life". People say it all the time. I'm sorry if I made you get it in the wrong way.
Also, I don't think you should say "we" because how did you know other people didn't use action replay codes? If no body used it, why is action replay selling that well?
Anyway, this topic isn't about action replay. We need to stop it right here.

These were the 4 videos on the site. IGN took em, put em together and smacked their logo on it. Enjoy for those that missed it while it was on the Rush site.
I REALLY hope that's real… Then it would make it 21 characters... I could live with that... I'm not a huge Ace fan, but I need him in the game.
Fake. The other characters icons would be a bit higher up (there is room to move the icons up a little) so the bottom 2 would be on the yellowish scroll thing or whatever.
That saddens me immensly… Ah well... There SHOULD be 2 more characters there well really you could fit four... I'd make it Ace, Bellamy, Wapol, and Alvida or possibly Vivi in place of Alvida... SIGH!
Alvida is an extra in Logue Town arena.
Prob Vivi in Arabasta
Wapol in drum
Bellmay in Jaya
as for Ace…..shrugs
Apparently they removed the Jaya stage. or so I've heard.
