I had a question, I was thinking about getting volume 45 and up since it is thriller Bark and such. However, in the U.S. it is still at volume 14… (:getlost: ) and I want to have the manga in handheld form so I don't have to go get on the cpu. Are there any manga volumes that are above 14 that are translated in English. Im willing to pay extra for the Thriller Bark ones...
Sorry if this is wrong place... it seemed like best reasonale place. Since it does have to do with computers. However, if when volume 45 comes out if someone is willing to translate it or something and sell to me Im willing to pay 2.5 times original price or so... I also might look into printing off the pages from the chapters.
Has to do with manga… but...I do need help

I don't think Thriller Bark is in tankoban (volume) format in Japan even.
You might check if there are official/semi-official English translations coming out in Hong Kong or Singapore. I know at one time Singapore had a distinct English dub of the anime, but I can't say for the manga.
Alternatively, take scanlations and get your hands on a cheap-to-operate printer with a large sheet feeder.

Yeah 45 doesn't go upto Thriller bark, and volume 14 is the highest one in english that you can buy.

Yeah well, when Thriller Bark DOES come out. I would like to purchase it in English? Any like people in Japan or something who can translate it and sell for people in English-speaking countries? If not, I'll go to the public library and print like 400 pages off and run without a trace… Hehehehe...

No
The best you can do is go to a Japanese-American book store like the infamous "Kinokuniya" and buy a Japanese volume there. Went their the other day and they had the latest Volume 45 like 3 days after it was released in Japan. Or something like that.

I am just going to go to the public library and print off a ton of pages, and just do that like every week so I can be up to date.
I also can get the japanese ones off Amazon. Still, I don't know how to read Japanese… so... I might learn it this summer... -
There's Stephen's Translation exactly for that.
You know, releasing amateur English tankobans isn't so legal.. so yeah.
Japanese stuff should be cheaper anyways too, so I don't see a problem. -
Someone can't translate a volume for you and then sell it to you, well, they can. It just is illegal.

If you want it that badly, DL some HQ One Piece manga, get some really good paper and print it out.

Okay, I have some idea's now, I would like this closed if someone could do this. Or just stop posting.

My idea is I'm going to the public library and printing them all so I don't have to pay all the ink. If they won't allow me to do that I will just not do it, I can live it.
