You must have a really poor memory, then.
Jojo's Bizarre Adventure

^U're right about that part :P, smacks head really hard now I remember >_<; Zepelli's buddies.
-
Hmmm, nice trailer. I can't wait for this movie. ^__^
-
how can you forget about Dire and the other guys Dire kicked ass for a guy killed to soon and one of them was the 1st major villain in Part 2
-
^Possibly cuz I'm depressed at times, which I've been feeling quite a lot recently.
-
I just got the much anticipated VIZ volume 6 (a.k.a. volume 18) and it looks hot so far, also continues an interview from the last volume.
Apparently at the time of the interview Araki was listening to Kayne West and TIm McGraw. Huh.
-
What's this huh? about. From all the stand references you know he listens to american music.
Also it's always puzzled me why scanlators havent tried translating the italian versions b/c it would seem easier to translate then japanese. Italy has the series done right?
Also I think Koichi might be the best part of part 4 at the moment (upto volume 32)
-

Yea I'm aware, still kind of a strange combination of artists
-
I'd think he'd have better tastes.
Then again, he named stands after Spice Girls and Limp Bizkit..
-
I have a question real quick. Is the ps1 game a cd or a dvd?
-
why would it be a DVD (key word is PS1)
-
I have a question real quick. Is the ps1 game a cd or a dvd?
Since when could the PSX even RUN DVDs?
Just remember that the DC ver. has better animation for the sprites.
Dunno if I said this before, but-
I'm kind of surprised that JoJo's B.A. was about the ONLY CPSIII game that could run on a PSX, must be cuz the sprites were drawn similar to the Darkstalkers games…. -
Umm yeah I dont have any ps1 games so I wouldnt know =/
Though yeah I am trying to burn it to a disc, but I dont know why it isnt working. I burn the .bin file and .cue file to a cd right? I also tried just burning the .bin file to a disc. Is it because I am using a cd-r? If so which type of cd should I use to burn the game?

If you don't mind me asking, what program are you using to burn the cd? Burning games is my cup of tea, so I use UltraISO (free) to burn games. Usually at the lowest speed. Try burning the .bin image with UltraISO and see if it works.
-
you could always just mount the .cue with Daemon Tools and run it straight from there.
-
Well I need a link to ultraiso in order to use it. Any help here?
Also in the game can you unlock vs cpu mode for vs mode.

Ive been reading the manga off of the highervoltage site, and I noticed a big difference in quality between JoJo 3 and 4, Like I could barely understand what there saying… and parts are left in Japenese. Does anyone know where I could series 4 with better translation quality?

This post is deleted!
-
the website for the movie(www.jojo-movie.com)
has been updated but I can't read any of the info
and I must say out of all the anime's I have read JJBA must have the best fanbase and now proof
-
God I am reading part 4 (and a little of 5 too) and
Jotaro and koichi vs kira is probably one of my favorite fights in Jojo. God that fight had me on the edge of my seat the whole time.

then I can say this rather easily Part 5 will blow you away in that respect.
-
I have to say that part 4 features my favorite art.
Parts 3 and 4 were kind of in the same style. But with part 5, his style seemed to change a little. I'm not sure how to explain it, but to me it seems different. Evolving as an artist I guess (but I still prefer the part 3 and 4 look - same as how I prefer the look of the earlier Gunnm/Battle Angel Alita to the new ones, even though people say the new ones are actually better).
-
Yeah part 3's art is probably my favorite, all though I also really like part 6 and 7. Middle aged Jotaro (who looks a lot younger for some reason) kicks serious ass.
I'm not far in part 5. I have only read 2 volumes. Pretty good stuff so far though. I can't wait till you know who comes in again.
In part 4 I am up to volume 41. I really don't like part 4 as much. Kira kicks serious ass, so do koichi and rohan, but I hate the "omg its another stand enemy" people. It's like filler and you want to scream at araki "Show more kira dammit!!"
As for Part 6, I have read up to where the scans are. I love it actually so far. It had a great strong start unlike part 4. I think it will turn out ok, minus the ending >>
-
Part 5 is kinda like One Piece it just keeps escalating the entire arc becoming awsome and awsome and awsome and more awsome and so on.
-
Can anyone tell me what is the last volume of series 3?
-
28
(16 characters)
-
17 for the bunko volumes.
And if anyone cares I am uploading the 25th special araki interview, so except some links soon.
-
Jotaro in part 6 looks younger than in part 3, and he's supposed to be 42. o_o
-
It seems I couldn't upload it after all. God dammit.
Anyway, yeah Jotaro looks younger, but I really like his look. Also at times he really looks like him self.
! Like when Jotaro gets hit with the compact disc and the memory disc from Pucci's stand, white snake.

Starts counting and calculating
Holy snap ur right!
Then again Josef in Part 2 was 65/67 and still looked like a healthy guy in his 40s!
Maybe Jotaro has Hamon, but it only affects his physical appearance. -
cool a phantom blood movie
-
Highervoltage has started updating again.
! I didn't really care for most of the Ciocolatta/Secco chapters, but I'm really excited for what comes next because you can tell everything's winding down to the big finale. It's cool to see Polnareff again (well, maybe not to see him, because he looks kinda wimpy without half his muscle mass now, especially during the flashback), and I'm hoping that Diavolo's history gets clearer as it gets explained more, because right now it's making very little sense. I also have some mixed feelings about Araki tying him into the "main" storyline, since it seems kind of like he's just making this up as he goes along.
But yeah, I'm really pumped for the rest of the storyline.
-
excellent break is off, but I'm gonna wait for full volume
-

Okay, I was a bit off.
I think it's because Araki's drawing style changed at part 5.
-
forgot to mention
/salute Araki for 20 years of the same series
90 volumes hoping for more (lol 4.5 volumes a year)
also I just found this out but this is the longest manga series to not have a full on anime adaptation (as in TV show)
-
Yeah it's really really sad =(. That's only 90 volume if you count steel ball run and part 7, but yeah so it's 90 volumes.
Does anyone here have Jojo on the gogo, or jojo 6251? If so what does it contain and stuff?
-
They're art books. I think Jojo a GoGo has a Stand Encyclopedia and a biography on Araki among other things, and is really hard to find. There's probably a site that's scanned at least some of it out there somewhere, though…
I have a small question about the end of Part V; maybe someone who knows how it ends can help me on this?
! Do we ever see Fugo again? I mean, does he even get a little blurb about what happened to him after he left the group, like most side characters in Part IV got? A simple yes or no will suffice; I already had a certain main character's death spoiled for me, so I'm wary of looking this up myself…
-
I don't believe so he was just written out because his stand was too powerful
-
He was written out? Really? That sucks a lot.
jojo 6251? If so what does it contain and stuff?
Now THERE'S a name I haven't heard in a while. It's been years, maybe just hidden under my old schoolbooks or something. Well, it's a pretty typical book, with a shitload of color art and some storyline and stand pages.
-
Where can I find this Manga without Downloading it!?
-
either
1st 6 or 7 volumes of Part 3 are out by Viz
or
your out of luck
-
-
If you ask me, Araki should consider working with the anime company that's making the JoJo animes, with him as the main director or whatever in order to make a JoJo anime series that'll be true or even better than it's manga counterpart.
Anyway; what's new in regards to the PB movie? Who're the VAs BTW?
-
When it comes to anime based off of Jojo, I prefer the "abridged" feel that it has in the OVA and the upcoming movie. It gives the series a more adrenalized feeling, and it gives it a higher budget to work with (the only word I can think of to describe how Araki's style would look with television-series-quality art and animation is "piss-ugly"). The OVA's art was a mixed bag, but still…
And no, I haven't seen the prequel OVA, only the original episodes from Iggy's introduction to Jotaro vs. Dio. I did enjoy those episodes, but I hear the prequel is crap, so I'm not in any real rush to see it. So far the only Phantom Blood Movie news that has me upset is that Speedwagon is going to be cut out, but I can see why they'd do it.
-
Speedwagon is going to be cut out? Oh well, I hated speedwagon anyway.
I'd love a tv series, maybe after jojo (the whole thing) is over he'll make the anime of it lol.
-
I stand with Araki in not liking an anime based on the series.
-
I stand with Araki in not liking an anime based on the series.
I have also heard this. Something about the anime not capturing his art style.
-
I liked how the original OVA series looked. Kind of Fist of the North Star looking, which seemed appropriate. But I've always been partial to the original OVA series, considering that it was my first JoJo experience.
-
As much as I would love to see a nice series dedicated to the show, the OVA and movie just can't seem to match his style how I'd like it to. If they were able to capture it as much as the Part V game was able to, then that be'd perfect.
