I'm guessing some ppl here use the gamefaqs guide for this game. For the Ninku planet, it says that there's a SP requirement. I'm wondering if anyone actually completed that requirement (never get hit by specials) because I've tried for like an hour and there's this one time I didn't even lose any life.
Jump Ultimate Stars!

I JUST completed that mission. You need to avoid getting hit from a Special Attack in J-Space/the boss level in the first world (not counting Earth). I found the best way to deal with this is to abuse 8Koma Luffy's X attack to get some points and then run and hide to lower your chance of being hit.

That's for the j-space boss which would unlock Pochi (required to unlock the Ninku planet). But I was wondering about the Ninku mission itself. SP for that mission is impossible to beat for now. I tried using some sort of long range x attack that would send them ring out and then picking up the stars w/out losing any life but I'm still not meeting the requirement

My God this game is fun online. The first match I ever played, I won.
After that I got my ass kicked every time.

OH! I'm sorry. I mis-read what you said. Although I've unlocked the Niku planet I haven't played it yet.
-
I hate lag online… it pretty much rapes me and I have to cut the game off.
-
Maybe you're not supposed to use the specials?
-
Due to massive lag and me sort of using it to my advantage all Japanese kids in the match gave up… but I kept on fighting, even though there was no one to fight. >_>
-
Good news everyone i bought JUMP Ultimate Stars on Play-Asia :)
-
I only get lag in 4 player which I barely ever get so I am lucky.
How do I unlock jojo again? 14 komas in a deck? I tried that and it wasn't working.
-
Does anyone use Nami? I don't understand her special, all I see is her sliding then get the SP gauge up, is that it?
-
Yeah, she's stealing SP.
-
@Zenko:
There is an FAQ on GameFaqs.
Yeah, but alot of it is 'Coming Soon'.
-
AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!
SASUKE'S not in the game -
Urh, Sasuke's in it. Heck! He has dual 8 battle komas.
-
And he's probably one of the best characters to boot.
I'm curious (and I know this isn't always easy to tell without paying attention to specials), but how often do you see the big komas being used and beefed up, compared to smaller decks with supports? I don't have the ability to WiFi yet, and I was curious.
-
I didn't see many support heavy decks (no more than 2 supports) on Wi-Fi, but I've seen a few komas to that everyone seems to have in their deck like 3-Koma Saiya and 3-Koma Light. Also, I got my ass handed to me by beefed up Afro Luffy and 5-koma Hiei and Kuramas but it had to do more with the skill of the player, I guess.

@Battle:

Wait. DUAL 8 KOMAS?
-
I've finally beaten Ninku's SP mission, it's
"Never use any special attacks" rather than "Never get hit by Special Attacks" -
@Zenko:
Wait. DUAL 8 KOMAS?
I don't even understand why he'd get ONE 8 koma; much less two. I didn't know you could have characters with two different battle koma of the same size. Does Luffy have two 8 koma? One for Gear 2, and one for Gear 3?
-
Gear 2 is 7-koma, Gear 3 is 8-koma.
Several characters have different komas of the same size. For example, Luffy has a Power based 6-Koma and a Laughter based 6-koma. They all have the same moves, just the nature is different.

gear 2nd's a 7 koma luffy (fast pace stronger attacks) and 3rd's a 8 koma luffy (giant attacks w/ 2nd speed movement)
for dual i'm guessing he's talking about different versions w/ different natures even though I'm not sure. For example there's 2 version of 6 koma Luffy one's like
[A][A]
[A][A]
[A][A]and the other is like
[A][A][A]
[A][A][A]same attacks but some people might want a horizontal one instead of
vertical one for their convenience and also for different nature advantageI'm not too far in the game but so far I've only found a couple of battle koma that has more than one version
-
Sasuke is way too overpowered…
That makes him the staple of my "Cheap" deck. Well, him and Lenalee.
-
no the cheapest one is that guy from reborn who gets red fire on his hands and flies and smashes you out for his x attack. yeah and light from death note is really helpful but only if your opponent doesn;t block which doesn;t happen often enough
-
What are 7-Koma Luffy's Super attacks?
-
The horizontal Gomu Gomu no Storm and Gomu Gomu no Volcano.
-
I knew about the dual komas (as in the different nature for the same size koma), I was just shocked that Sasuke has two 8 block komas…if it's even true.
But BattleFranky is usually spot on about this sorta stuff...

He's right.
-
You're kidding. He really does have 2 8 block Komas?
CHRIST. That's insane…

One is knowledge the other is power.

This doesn't show either of Sasuke's two 8 komas, but still an awesome site.
-
it only showed the sprites not all the koma, the person probably chose just the koma he wanted since Sasuke's sprite doesn't change.
-
Nice site, except he's missing several of them
-
It's just the battle koma.
-
The reason I'd assume he has a dual natured 8, is because -most- of the characters have atleast 1 dual natured koma. Sasuke only has a 7 and an 8. Why they chose to make 8 dual over 7? I dunno.
-
@Zenko:

I know, but he's missing one of Gotenks.
There might be others but I forget.
-

Wait, Sasuke's sprite doesn't change and yet he gets a 7 and possibly two 8 komas…
-
Now that you mention it, all of Sasuke's komas a real bland looking. Still, two 8-komas?! Emo boy wins again!
-
Anybody knows how many Komas there are in the entire game?
-
Out of curiosity, what is the easiest way to get crap to build a character? I just did the quizzes a lot. Is there an easier way?

Gotenks is there. He just has only one of his koma since his sprite doesn't change.

Site has been updated with both of Sasuke's 8 komas.

No, he has another sprite of just regular Gotenks for his 4 koma.

On the main menu, select the option with the DS on it.
Go to Wi-Fi, then select the middle option. Select the option with the DS.If it's not lit up, you'll have to play the game for a bit.

I would recommend either Wifi play or DS to DS multiplayer, and winning will probably be a good idea if you want gems. And if you haven't beaten the three Ranking Modes, then you should do that too.
-
Can't you also redo Ranking mode?
-
@The:
Can't you also redo Ranking mode?
Yes, but do you get awarded anything?
-
Yes, but do you get awarded anything?
I believe, but am not positive, that if you re-do ranking mode, you get some gems, but less than what you got the first time.
