Fuuko's all grown up.

UNDEAD UNLUCK

I just imagined Feng as Team Rocket, appearing each time they fight an UMA and getting defeated each time until his turn comes in a few years.
-
I wondered if long-haired Fuuko would show up again.

It's fun making a book squirm:

I wonder if there will be an explanation about which rules exist already and which are implemented through the quests. We saw multiple times that Juiz was a boy/guy before gender was added, and the beginning of the manga started without stars and days of the week, but this look had both things. I guess it can be handwaved with Apocalypse rewriting the universe and stuff like UMA Past being name dropped in the first set of quest rewards (when Andy and Fuuko joined near the beginning), but I want something more meaningful.
This chapter also made me thinkg about Mico. How old was she in the past loop? I assumed she was a teenager, but their parents were adults in 1973, so they'd be close to 70 in 2020. She must have been mid 30s at least. I guess if Nico and Ichico hurry up she can be in her early twenties by Ragnarok.
-
This chapter made me realize that Ichico looks like a mix of Tangela's evolution and pre evolution from the GS beta.
I feel bad for the old guy, they're just waiting for him to die.
-
Well, at least they aren't going to kill him to make it faster.
Can't wait for Gina to come out strong.
-
Hmmm, so is this loop Gina different that previous loop Gina? (aside from age)
-
The loop is not a time rewind, but a fast forward. Everyone from the past loop died and then a new Earth was formed and life began again. So yes, these people aren't exactly the same as the ones in the previous loop. There's an implication that the artifact remember can give people in this loop memories from their previous selves, so in a sense the past versions reincarnate in the current. Or something like that.
On another topic, the teaser for the anime is out and it looks fine. I hope they tone down the creepiness (at least we won't have that first color page of Andy groping Fuuko).
-
Last loop Fuuko is amazing!
-
She is! And I think it's funny that she's not only keeping Ichico alive, but in the process assuring her friend gets born.
-
Here's comes to story of the Hurricane Fuuko.
-
Seems like Void could learn something from Shen this loop, given he was interested in Fuuko's technique. Thought that might not make much of a difference, since he can't miss and god doesn't have human anatomy.
-
It's great that they are spending time on characters who died early/were already dead in the last loop or were barely present.
-
Haha. Void is reminding me of Takamura from Hajime no Ippo. Only without the hair and the crude humor.
-
Right now Fuuko is the best female character in Jump by FAR !
Also loved how Lil Gina reacted.
-
I know they modified the memories of the people at the press conference last chapter, but this must still be a really weird fight for the general public.
-
Haha, this gave me Hajime no Ippo vibes.
-
Dempsey Bad Roll! Fuuko is the best!
-
Well now we know that DEFINITELY came from Hajime no Ippo.
Part of what's best about this time skip (reverse?) is that we get to meet all these characters again who weren't used that much and get to know them from a whole new angle.
-
Even then, the idea that Void was so strong/aggresive that he felt lonely wasn't properly conveyed in the past chapters, I think. Also, poor Phil is cursed with being both young and underused, so he can't possibly get the level of focus and development that the current cast has.
-
The attacker and support should be Feng and Yusai, since they're the oldest (besides Andy) and still unaccounted. At this point most of the cast still hasn't been born or are still too young. I don't think we ever got Shen's age, but if he was around 25 in 2020 the past loop then Feng might have taken him already in 1999.
Or maybe Juiz, but no idea what time she's from in a world where she didn't loop.
-
Ooh, good, I wanted to see a Bill pre-betrayal.
-
Adventuring with Fuuko is definitely fun.
-
I didn't expect Creed to be on the opposite side of the war, against Tella and Billy. It must have been awkward forming an organization with the guy who killed all your friends.
Tella is Untell, I predicted Untold but same thing. Since the negation works on his body, he uses those parts/artifacts we saw in the previous loop to communicate. And his negation seems to be the useless kind.
-
I forgot that Billy is blind.
-
Run Through the Jungle plays in the background

Anybody else thinking Street Fighter when they look at him?
-
Creed is like Guile fused with Andy. His tragedy was kind of dumb, an asshole millionaire didn't take him back because he failed his random condition of using all the ammo. And Billy is acting suspicious. Fuuko needs to have some special plan for him, since at least some of the negators need to distrust him for his power.
-
It was just the right kind of silly, fun chapter.

It's not just that he didn't finish his ammo, it was either the ammo goes or he kills 100 soldiers. But that last one seems pretty impossible. Even in the original loop Creed wasn't able to kill Billy so hos tragedy is presumably that all lf his men died in the end because they couldn't be successful in this mission.
-
We're back to the 1 chapter = 1 negator pace. People realized Sean was turning invisible and just decided he wasn't good for TV, maybe the world this loop is weirder than we thought.
-
Kind of an "awwww . . ." chapter.
-
War what is it good for?
https://mangaplus.shueisha.co.jp/viewer/1015890 -
Absolutely nothing.
-
That's some weird logic by Fuuko, but Billy's okay with it. Tella's barriers are the product of untell, so I wonder what the werid artifacts did.
-
Yeah. This war is going by rather fast and there has been some things that are a bit sketchy.
Also, what's going to happen with Billy's power?
Has his power awakened yet? I don't think so. But then, if he become part of the team, how could he copy powers?
Or maybe in this loop will he develop a diferent power? (improbable) -
High Noon,at night.

If Billy's daughter wasn't namedropped as Betty I'd just have assumed she's Lucy aka unhealthy. She might still be, but that name change needs to be explained.
-
So it's confirmed that his ricochet ability is not a negation ability but just a badass skill he had. Considering he was a blind mercenary that was not too hard to believe.
He's become absolutely OP during this loop.
