Whoever made the executive decision to have the transformed Zoan-users' mouths hang open like a puppet's when they're speaking needs to have a bucket of ice water dumped over their head or something. It looks awful! Literally no one would care if they remained closed or whatever during dialogue and it would be one less frame that the animators would have to draw!
I'm not really familiar with Shinichi Suzuki as an animation director since he handles episodes very infrequently and had assistants on his most recent episodes (if it's the same guy listed on ANN he's almost 90?! More power to him if he's still working at that age) but he seems to slot in to the same niche that Deguchi fits into: his episodes won't be the most animated and won't be quite as crisp as Yokoyama's but they're functional enough. You can really feel the directorship trying to power through these bridge episodes we've been having lately but things should start looking up next week once we start hitting more TV-friendly material and the action really starts to pop off. I'm already looking forward to Ryota Nakamura's return on 1013.
