Poor Rusev gets left off of tv for 6 months comes back to get thrown into meaningless storyline with no purpose gets booked into a match he's winning at best by by DQ and worst losing by pinfall.

NXT for me. Don't even like it anymore, but want to support it against AEW.
-
^ Any particular reason why?

^ Any particular reason why?
I think NXT had something really good and unique going on from 2014-16, but has since just become many pwg, which is a style I don't like much. Dream, Riddle, and Io are great, but I struggle to watch much else. (Ciampa too)
AEW does nothing for me at all from the first ppvs at least. I already hated the bucks and a lot of their silky wrestlers, but gave it a chance and was never impressed enough to get the hype. I at least like a few nxt guys and look forward to seeing them on a bigger stage.
-
^ I assume by bigger stage you mean somewhere else besides Raw or Smackdown.

No, I mean live television/USA instead of the WWE Network.
-
With the company's infamous track record of misusing the NXT callup's I don't know why you'd wish such a horrible fate upon them.
I mean they'd be making a few extra dollars but they'll still be doing jobs to people like Brock Lesnar, Baron Corbin, Alexa Bliss, or some has-been like Cena or Undetaker.
And that's when they're not being left off TV for weeks at a time cause people like Shane need time for a promo or skit to setup some pointless feud for PPV.
-
I really enjoy the first episode of AEW Dynamite. I thought both Cody Vs. Sammy and Riho Vs. Nyla Rose were both great matches and I like the entire Moxley and Omega fight in the VIP section.
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
AEW won Week 1 of AEW Vs. NXT. But I didn't expect by this much.

You're misunderstanding me. NXT is on a bigger stage right now because it's on USA instead of the WWE Network. That's their bigger platform, not Raw or Smackdown.

Thank you, Kofi.
His title win at Wrestlemania was one of the few moments in wrestling where I teared up, knowing how monumental and relatable it was seeing a black man win the top title in the company, and then be booked solidly while the champ, and given a months long title reign. I'm grateful for having witnessed the journey.
-
In my opinion, Kofi have one of the best run as WWE Champion in a long time.
-
In Hindsight, the match was worthy of the Main Event. That was a pure 5 star match for me and everything about the program leading up to it was great as well.(I'm talking about Kofi vs Bryan at Mania, btw) I haven't been a fan of Kofi's reign, but it was no worse than AJ's year long reign as a babyface. It may have been a little better, in fact. I feel like listing out my favorite title reigns from recent years.
U.S. Title:
Cena's U.S. Championship reign is one of the best title reigns ever, so that's my number one title reign of any championship in at least the past 10 years.WWE and Universal:
Dean Ambrose's only one.
AJ's first
Seth Rollins' first is the kind that will really get better with age. He had great matches with Cena, a great fatal 4 way match, and a great match with Orton. The Sting and Kane matches weren't great, but you gotta have some clunkers.
Daniel Bryan's heel reign was pretty great.
KO's reign as Universal Champion may not have drew, but I thought he was a consistently entertaining champion, especially with Jericho next to him. I miss that guy.Tag Team:
New Day's first was it's best, but the second one was good for a while too. Just hard to be consistently entertaining after more than 400 days.
The Shield's first reign was excellent and their work as a tag team remains super underrated to this day, when people talk about how good Seth and Roman are.
Uso's first reign on Smackdown was amazing and legitimized them as great, in my eyes. They were so boring before they decided to show their personalities.
The Bar had a great reign, but weren't quite my style. Always felt like they couldn't deliver on the story aspect, to me.
The Revival's reign is young, but I like basically everything they do and think they're the best tag team i've ever seen. (Not as good as the Express, either of them, but I wasn't alive to watch those guys)Intercontinental:
None. It's been a shit belt for a while.Women's Champion:
Ronda was top tier for me. She was booked like she was supposed to and put on great matches.
Everything else for the last 4-5 years has been them trying too hard to get Charlotte over. Not a fan of Becky's matches, but she's been entertaining and her feud with Sasha in the last few months has been pretty great.Women's Tag Team:
Only Sasha and Bayley are good. I was reminded how good they are at being a tag team last night, when I saw how bad Charlotte and Becky were at it. Never been a fan of Bayley as a singles wrestler, but she's a great tag worker. Sasha's great overall. -

USA isn't a major network though. And unless that jump is going to enable NXT to make more money than it has over it's entire lifetime it's kind of a moot point.

Then spend the next few years having the women bounce between feuding one with another as singles while occasionally having them team up for no logical reason.

NXT has been a money drain since day 1 and has only cost WWE money. This will actually be the first time they're making money and that the wrestlers have the chance to draw it.

True, but that's part of why I was so impressed with how good Sasha and Bayley are. They really shouldn't be that solid already. I didn't want to ignore the title so I had to bring them up.
-
Oh boy, everyone is mad about the ending of that match. Even through I like most of Bray vs. Rollins, I thought the ending it with a DQ was stupid.
-
Nice they FINALLY let Kairi & Asuka win the tag titles. Stupid they had Sasha get Nakamura'ed. And then of course the dumb as hell finish.
-
WWE once again shot themselves in the foot. It was obvious what the outcome of the main event should've been, but now, the mystique of The Fiend has all but disappeared, and Rollins is the most hated top guy since Roman. Both came out of this fuck finish looking much worse.

I don't really agree with this. He still effectively no-sold everything, and might be able to make it up with a good promo.
As for the PPV, I care more about Sasha and Bayley losing than the main event. Charlotte with 10 championships in 4 or 5 years is just absurd and Sasha's only not as over as Becky because of booking, in my opinion. Fans have been wanting to embrace her as the top Woman since they all came to WWE, but booking has never put her in that spot, even once. She's the only one of the three who hasn't got a Mania win yet, and has never won a title on a PPV. Pisses me off.

The first episode of AEW Dark is out.
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
Here is the first episode of NWA Powerrr. From what I watch of it so far, it got a really good presention.
-
Damn. NWA Powerrr is great. I could watch just it every week and that'd be more than enough wrestling for me.
-
I think I have officialy became a fan of Darby Allin with how he came for the save at the end of tonight's episode of AEW on a skateboard and then begin attacking Jericho with it.
-
Send Gable back to NXT so he won't be called Shorty for fucks sake.
-

Honestly that's not the part about what's happening to Gable that bugs me it's the fact they have him feuding with Corbin. Apparently fucking over Finn Balor wasn't enough let's fuck over this guy who we've been consistently fucking over the last 3 years and are still fucking over even after he changed his look.
-
Smackdown was a okay show tonight. I will say I like Bayley's new look. She's doing a great job of being a heel, her promo at the end of Smackdown was great.
-
Well that didn't last long for Bischoff. This week episode of Something to Wrestle is going to be interesting as well next week episode of 83 Weeks.
-
AEW Dark Episode 2 and NWA Powerrr Episode 2 are out.
-
Can't wait to watch that NWA Powerrr tomorrow. I work when it's on, but I enjoyed it last week.
-
-
Huge breaking news! Bushiroad (the company that owns New Japan Pro Wrestling) now owns Stardom. Here is the press conference.
-
Jim Cornette isn't going to be happy about this.
-
Oh boy… WWE is threating to kick out people that are wearing AEW shirts at Raw again tonight.
-
1. Jim won't be, but I suspect he won't really focus too much on that in particular given the recent Being the Elite episode, I suspect his main focus of annoyance will be the pushing of Stuntz, perhaps with a minor gripe regarding Best Friends/Cassidy (aka Pockets)
2. Meh, I kind of agree with WWE on the t-shirt thing at this level
-
Here are this week episodes of AEW Dark and NWA Powerrr.
-
You'd think Paige would be used to getting sprayed in the face.
-
I haven't seen an wrestler meltdown like what happening in the last 2 days with ACH in a long time. I agree with some of his points like WWE shouldn't had made that shirt for him. But he shouldn't made those comments about Jay Lethal.

A (not very wise) woman once said you may have to fight a battle more than once to win it.
Vince McMahon:
!
Of all the matches they could've potentially booked they booked this as the first women's match in Saudi Arabia?
-
You'd think Paige would be used to getting sprayed in the face.
Lmao, just wanted to acknowledge this.

I'm more surprised they didn't send over ether Becky or Charlotte for this show.
-

That's not as surprising as the people actually trying to spin this as a monumental achievement eventhough you're showcasing WWE's women's division by using two of the least over talents in another match to a feud that was just blown off. In arena that will likely not allow women to attend if they're not accompanied by a man if at all.
-
That promo from Moxley tonight was amazing.
-
This is embarassing.
-
Isn't Kenny a gamer like Xavier?
I mean it's dated but still
-
If it gives me a match involving Bryan/Gulak/Zayn in some combination (bonus points for a 30 min submission match) then I'd be pretty ok with the talent stuck in S.A
Heck, give me a Smackdown that has Gulak not being squashed like a jobber and I'll say it's good.

Joey Mercury quits ROH and he's going off on twitter.
I don't really blame Joey at all in this situation. The story about Shane Taylor and his family made me sick. In my opinion, ROH have really went downhill since The Young Bucks, Cody, Page, and SCU left the company that includes the incident with Enzo and Cass back in April. I won't be surprise if Marty leaves the company when his contract is up some point this month.
