Some of Shiraishi's scenes are just so damn iconic. The double spread with the swan was nothing short of fantastic

By the way, I feel like Boutarou the Pirate will prove to be quite the adversary for Sugimoto and the gang. He just has that particular aura about him.

All I knew about this manga was an image from Sugimoto and Asirpa and had a vague idea it would deal with some civil war of sorts. I wasn't exactly attracted by the art style nor by what I thought the plot could be, yet somehow I kept wanting to check on it every now and then. Now I did it and zero regrets.

I am still on the first 50 chapters, thoroughly enjoying it but at same time trying to savor it and no go too fast so I run out of chapters. Just love the unexpectedly twisted humor it keeps bringing up. Also I am not usually a fan of the "small girl side kick" characters, but Asirpa just keeps delivering.

These last two chapters have been such a wonderful reading!!!! Just loved to see Tsukishima and Koito showing their true colors with this experience, their doubts and hope about Tsurumi's enterprise. And all of that to assist the birth of a child. That was glorious. Who does need to see Inkarmat and Tanikagi again? … The god of birth says: just be happy!
