That was quite a sentence. Wish I had a resource for you, but I'm not well read on the Haitain Revolution. Not enough of us are, methinks. -
I'm planning on buying CLR James' Black Jacobins sometime this year, But having read some Fanon and Césaire last year, and with some inside knowledge of LATAM, is not hard to draw this conclusion.

A little random plug, but thought some might be interested, a podcast I listen to regularly, The Last Podcast on the Left is currently doing a historical series. They normally cover true crime, cults, cryptids, UFOs, and so on, and the historical events and people they cover follow the same trend. To date they've covered things like the life of Gregori Rasputin, the Donner Party, the Black Death, the Salem Witch Trials, and so on. Their current subject, of which they are as of today on episode 2 out of possibly 4 or 5, is Gilles de Rais, a commander-at-arms for none other than Joan of Arc, and a man the hosts describe as a combination of Ted Bundy, Harvey Weinsten, and Jared Fogel of Subway fame.

The previously mentioned Last Podcast on the Left is going historical again. This time they've started episode 1 of what's expected to be a 5-parter on the Manhattan Project, the American effort to create the first atomic bomb.

Between then and now, they also covered Gille de Rais, a contemporary of Joan of Arc, as well at notorious serial child murderer.

I have two things to say:
The Barbenheimr phenomena really struck a fucking mallet in how the reductionist telling of WWII in high school books and media have giving people in general a crappy understanding of what really happened. And in special those of the imperial core. And with regards to the need of the Bombs. And already having a understanding on the why's; do anyone has a recommendation for a book explaining why Eastern Europe double and triple down on The Double Genocide fallacy.

Good shit coming in 2024 -
