went to raw live on Monday
Show was good overall, surprised though at how little superstars wrestled that night..Miz at least had good matches with both Vs seth rollins and Finn Balor.
But roman reigns promo…he had almost a few people cheering for him when he was talking about lesnar.
and john cena fooled us all with the match against the undertaker -
I'm curious how wrestling fans feel about Ronda Rousey. I'm an MMA guy, so I'm genuinely curiously to see what the reaction is like.

She can legitimately thrive in the WWE if she wanted. I personally genuinely hope that she takes to Pro Wrestling the way Kurt Angle took to it.
Unfortunately, except for Asuka, Charlotte, and Sasha, I don't see her having any exciting matches with the other ladies on the roster. Its just too thin and the talent is just mediocre.
If she's successful, then maybe we can see a male MMA fighter join the roster too. A reincarnated Steve Blackman would be cool.

…..Yeah let's remember what Shamrock, Severn's, & Blackman's stints in the company amounted too .

That was a great match for both Asuka and Nia Jax. They both have great chemistry together. And I have to say Nia is improving a lot with these matches against Asuka.

It's happening!! The Hardy Compound and Vanguard 1!

Breaking News!! On the new episode of Being the Elite, it have been revealed that All In show is going to be in Chicago.

As an MMA fan it's cringey as hell to see Ronda in the WWE. How am I supposed to buy the fake tough girl act when she was brutally KO'd in her last two outings in real combat? The old Ronda would have thrived in the WWE, but she's not the same Ronda she was before Holly and Amanda smashed her. She doesn't deal well with criticism or adversity, and I'm almost positive she's going to have a breakdown when the crowd inevitably starts chanting "Holly!" one of these days.
I also can't buy them trying to push her as a babyface after the childish manner in which she handled her setbacks and how she treated fans and media following that first Holly loss.

Breaking News…. The NXT North American Championship is making its debut at NXT Takeover: New Orleans.
-
We're getting new cruiserweight titles and now a new NXT championship….but we still got the US title on smackdown.

Isn't the Cruiserweight division a little bit too thin for another championship? I mean they have like 12 guys right.
I'm interested to see what they do with the new NXT one though. Knowing them, I hope they'll make it meaningful.
-
Discounting Neville (for the moment) it's 15 guys in the division

15 guys do not need a secondary championship to contend over IMHO.

I'd agree if most of them weren't already just having matches just to have matches on Raw and 205 Live a problem that's also bleeding over into the women's division.

Right. It's not as if they aren't in tag or triple tag matches constantly anyway. This is a net positive through and through. 4 tag teams and 7 people contending for the belt at any given time is healthy and immediately will energize a ton of the lackluster matches.
-
MMC is a wonderful thing. Happy Rusev Day y'all.
P.S. Bonus points for Lana's robe having "Ric Flair" written on it, with the "Ric" crossed out xD
-
About time NXT had a mid card title.
-
I'm skipping watching the WWE Hall of Fame this year and going to watch Impact Vs. Lucha Underground that night. The Hall Of Fame isn't really expect for the Dudleys and Ivory. Plus I can't stand Jeff Jarrett.

Not a good idea to name a battle royal after Moolah. Especially with all the stuff came out about her the last several years.
-
Not a good idea to have a all women's battle royal after you just did the very same thing 2 months ago.
Along with the facts the last time we had a women's battle royal at Wrestlemania a dude in drag won it.
And that we already have the Andre The Giant Memorial Invitational which historically has hurt the men who've won it
-
Moolah just doesn't deserve this battle royal with all the bad things she did in the past in my opinion.

Oh make no mistake I was made aware of the issues surrounding her when they had to change the women's tournament to the Mae Young Classic.
So I agree with those reasons as well.

Corbin's push actually continued pretty well after winning it. The mistakes he made later, though, were the ones that did him in.

I'm not of the mind that eating pins or being the third person to fail to win after cashing in their MITB briefcase was entirely on his shoulders.
Cesaro is probably the only guy of the what four? who've won, that has changed his fortunes significantly but he still has had to put up with a lot bullcrap.

I recommend everyone to read this about the Moolah situation. There somethings I didn't know about before like Moolah pretty much ruining the Women's Tag Team division.

Yeah read a forum thread that went into detail about that…and referred to Vince as cokeboy for some reason.
Have a sinking suspicion this won't make people stop insisting the likes of Kelly Kelly and the Bella's set women's wrestling back while not doing anything remotely similar to what Moolah did.

With this in mind, it might be no surprise that they're changing it.
WWE Announces Fabulous Moolah Memorial Battle Royal Name ChangeI only wish they did this before they had a montage of current WWE superstars singing Moolah's praises. That video package was awkward.

I'm just hoping that the Ultimate Deletion isn't a glorified House of Horrors.
-
The Ultimate Deletion was just as great as the TNA ones in my opinion.

Following more than two years of extensive evaluations, four-time World Champion Daniel Bryan has been medically cleared to return to in-ring competition by leading neurosurgeons, neurologists and concussion experts, including Dr. Robert Cantu, Dr. Javier Cárdenas and Dr. Jeffrey Kutcher.
A little backstory, I watched WCW during the NWO invasion, and watched WWE up to the start of the "ruthless agression" era, but lost interest for various reasons. I regained interest in 2013 when I heard about Daniel Bryan and the commotion at the Royal Rumble. So, I'm glad to see this. Amazing news.
-
I'm really excited about this news. I'm hoping that we get a Bryan vs. Nakamura or Styles match soon as possible. Heck even Broken Matt or Brother Nero vs. Bryan would be great matches as well.
-
Thank God! I can't wait to see him against… anyone, but especially Styles. He should inject something good into the Shane + KO and Zayn match too. It's easy to forget that they are both great wrestlers right now.
-
The finals for the New Japan Cup was great. Zack Sabre Jr vs. Tanahashi match was really great. I can't wait for Sabre Jr vs. Okada at Sakura Genesis. Also I'm looking forward where the storyline with Suzuki and Naito is going. Heck, the entire Suzuki-gun vs. Los Ingobernables de Japon storyline is going to be very fun.
-
Some bad news, Rey Mysterio won't be wrestling at this upcoming Sunday, New Japan: Strong Style Evolved show due to injury. Which Rey was supposed to face off against Jushin "Thunder" Liger. Liger will now be facing Will Ospreay on the show.
-
Now here's the aftermath of the Ultimate Deletion.
-
It's finally wrestlemania and once again rusev day
-

Funny thing, Rusev's addition to that match might have made it worthwhile. He deserves a place on the card at least!
It's the same with every match on the main show really. This is the first Wrestlemania in a long time where I don't think I can miss any match, and my most anticipated match is a tag team match with no titles involved. Except Lesner v Roman…
TakeOver was great btw. I've had a tough time paying attention to matches lately, but this show sucked me in. Heck, I've never liked the idea of a "unsanctioned match," but they used that setting for everything it was worth.
-
After last night's NXT, I'm officially a fan of Shayna Baszler. Shayna's ring post spot was something I never saw before and it was amazing. Also Velveteen Dream continues just to amaze me. I'm hoping they are going to continue his feud with Black now, with Black is now the NXT Champion.
Other news, Alberto Del Rio got release by Impact for no show the Impact vs. Lucha Underground show.
I just hope, he's not coming back to WWE. Since I haven't like him for the last several years, and mostly for the entire Paige thing that happened last year.

Wrestlemania 34 predictions:
Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royale: A returning Big Cass
Women's Battle Royale: Becky Lynch, by taking advantage of the infighting between Sasha and Bayley
Cruiserweight Title Match: Cedric Alexander
Fatal 4 way for the US title: Rusev, by pinning Jinder
Triple Threat for the IC Title: Demon King Balor wins by pinning Miz, beginning a new Wrestlemania win streak
Raw Women's Title: Nia Jax in a squash
SD Women's Title: Asuka remains undefeated in a classic
Raw Tag Team Title: Braun and Vacant over the Bar
SD Tag Team Title: Bludgeon Brothers win in a dominating performance
Mixed tag match: The two Olympians win by making the Power couple tap out at the same time
Bryan and Shane win. I don't see Bryan losing his first match in over 3 years
American bad ass Taker wins and rides off into the sunset
WWE title match: Shinsuke Nakamura, I just hope they're given at least 30 mins
Universal Title match: Another coronation for Reigns among an endless chorus of boos
Enjoy mania, everyone!
-
Seems about right
-
Battle Royale is over! I think I can at least say that there seems to be a chance for Big Cass to be Braun's partner.

I like these predictions (though I want Braum to have a partner, the Bar deserves better), but after watching the preshow I think we need one more…
How many times will we cut to John Cena reacting to matches? There's been like three of these so far.
-
Well, I definitely didn't see that coming. Hell
edit:
The Rousey tag match was damn good!
-
I thought WrestleMania 34 was pretty good show expect for Cena vs. Undertaker and Roman vs. Lesnar. Also I like both Raw and Smackdown's Women Championship matches. Nakamura and Styles was great as expected. Overall, this was a good WrestleMania.
-
Favourite matches were Rousey/Angle vs. Steph/HHH and Charlotte vs. Asuka (With Bliss vs. Jax coming in third, still a bit on the fence about that one)! Seeing DB back in action was awesome as well and the IC title thriple threat match was pretty solid, too. Other than I didn't care about much at this year's Wrestlemania. Braun picking the kid as partner seemed interesting at first, but ofc it turned into the usual one man squash - his shtick has gotten really boring already imho.
-

Not as stale as Brock "I need to beat everybody clean so I can hold onto this title I won't regularly defend" Lesnar.

Definitely not, I still enjoy his antics from time to time, but I'm just not into the "unstoppable monster" shtick. To me, Strowman shines most when they do comedic stuff with him.
Lesnar on the other hand… I won't even go there. I think the entire Universal Title scene has been horrible for the past months. Neither Lesnar nor Reigns cut it in my eyes and both made this a terribly bad main event. Like "I even skipped over the highlight montage parts of their match" bad. Spamming finisher moves is just boring and devalues those moves in regards to their (supposed) importance to the overall structure of matches.
-
Theonly thing about wrestlemania I wasn't happy about was the bar losing.
-
This is a wrestlemania of which I am still not sure if I loved it or hated it.
-
Only tuned in for Brock and Ronda's matches. Brock's was atrocious as expected, but I'm surprised he was allowed to hold onto the title since he's coming back to the UFC after this match.
Rousey's match was surprisingly entertaining, mostly because (for me) I've been a huge HHH fan since the 90's and it was nice to see him back in action again and I have always enjoyed Stephanie's character. I just can't buy into this whole "baddest woman" narrative they are trying to push knowing she was brutally KO'd in her last two real fights and essentially went into hiding until her WWE debut.
