Haven't seen the latest episode of the dub yet (just came back from Canada…and from what I hear, I sort of figured they would get rid of another DBZ reference, but I thought they would change "Nu Car" to "Lucky Hanky Car" or something), but I did finally get vol. 18 and thus got a sneak peak of the end of "Part 1"...there's a lot I can probably say, but here's one that really got me:
! Bo-bobo's big sister is a DENBO CLONE!?!??!?! (er, maybe that means Denbo is a Bububu-bu Bu-bubu clone :p)

I had a question about one chapter in that book…
! Does Beauty actually try to fight against Bibibi? I'm trying to piece it together on all the scattered chapters I have and can't figure out much from this show (surprise, surprise)

! The answer is a "sort of". Basically, Bi-bibi kills Bo-bobo by stabbing him right in his "Hair Ball" (the source of a Hair warrior's power) while trying to get back those for Be-bebe, Bu-bubu and Hatenko. Beauty is approached by Bo-bobo's glasses (I think its called "Glassen Man") who she agrees to allow to use her to fight against Bi-bibi. Unfortunately, she only is able to get in a couple attacks before the glasses runs out of energy and the effect wears off. Luckily, Bo-bobo does return to life thanks to the assistance of a team of Hajikelists lead by Landmine Dandy.

! This is Bo-BoBo's next victim, eh XD? Hmm..Anyone happen to translate his name from that chapter who was introduced?
King Tsururiina the third or sir baldy bald the third.

That "victim" is Tsurun Tsururiina III(or Lord Boldy whoeveristheenglishname III.
He also appeared in the first part (anime saga:from episode 52 to 71). He was the leader of the Hair Hunters 100 years ago, but they all stopped before they conquered the whole world and slept in hibernation capsules until episode 52…
By the way, I was looking some old Shinsetsu Bobobo chapters(chapter 24, in fact) and look what I found:
What's it reffering to? Either way, that just looks a lot amusing.
I think i's referring to Brain Age, for the Nintendo DS.

This is why Bo-bobo scanlations or scripts aren't sucessful. They're full of so many references that it's impossable to explain them all.

But any Bo-BoBo fan here might make a difference on starting a sanlations group right?

Bo-BoBo 2nd Stage RAW 28
uh! Question! behind, lost, and curious
! Who's the guy with black hair? It seems as though Heppokomaru's sister (dunno her name; also, assuming it's her. x_x) has been following this guy around for some time?
Girl: Pokomi, Heppo´s sister(the story behind her is too long to write it now)
black haired boy: his name is Namerou, and he joined the crew during the second part. I haven´t seen him fighting, but I´ve read that his fight style is based in…licks..
An scanlation group would be awesome, but the only way I could be able to help is translating it to spanish ^^U
So..
! Heppo's now a Hair Hunter right? Anyone have a pic of what he looks like in the 2nd part?
He has like grey jacket and a red shirt I think. I would have to look again in jump 19. Too lazy right now though
Heck, I doesn´t know how to put spoilers…
Heppo joins the Hair hunters because his sister was one of the new 4 Principals (I guess they told him that they would kill her if he didn´t join
Yeah, again as I said earlier, one of us or maybe a group of us fans can start a scanlation group or something that translates and does releases both English and Spanish. Sushibar manga who is currently doing Bo-BoBo can do the 1st stage manga while this future scanlation team can do 2nd stage.
Now back into main topic. I do have a question, how is Bo-BoBo's peverted varriation of Softon's Babylon judgement attack durring their fight with the Hell Bros handled in the anime?
I don´t have the dvd with that episode now, but the thing went like…
Small request: anyone has Shinsetsu Bobobo´s episodes 26(Shinsetsu Tenbobo´s fight)?
Thanks a lot ^^
Go, Tenbobo Rangers! XD
Did you know that (guy who fights with scissors) mark is actually a namekian symbol in dragonball. Its in volume 42. I noticed it the other day. I'll get the page # later. It looks excatly like it lol
HEY guys I have a small favor to ask could anyone upload episode 36: Next stop holy guacomole land? Thanks I usually tape all episode but missed htis one
Longer than usual recap. Beauty Calls oldman goldfish place bathroom, but the oldman goldfishman is still there. Still funny.
This ep was pretty funny, especially towards the middle. I loved the nightmare part. Nice to see Bobopatch again too, he's my favorite fusion, even if he is badly drawn. XD
Now I'm REALLY getting curious as to what was edited in the dub, due to the last episode being so blatant with the edits.
I can't even check, I deleted all of my videos for no reason. (Seriously.)
I loved last night's episode.
"I don't speak french toast!"
Bad news… according to Cosmic in the Viz Manga thread. Her report from Comic-Con states that Viz talked about no future releases of Bo-bobo.
They said "not enough interest"
Here's what you did wrong Viz, you released ONE graphic novel that took place in the middle of the damn story. It's not going to make sense.
I think they're just being lazy.
Sorry to double post… but this news is too cool. Sushibar has a double release on Stoptazmo.
Chapter 18 and 19. 18 has Heppokomaru's intro (known as Gasser in America) and 19 has that big wall guy in it (forgot the original name but he's Wallman in the dub).
The following is an exert from a post made on the animenewsnetwork forums:
"… Because of the Kenshin fans not much else made it to Q&A, but I asked afterward of the male panelist(Mark? I need to go get my stupid event guide which has everyone's names) was telling the gal ahead of me to address e-mails to Mark W for any licensing issue & I asked if I needed to do the same on getting more BoBoBo & he said please do, he enjoyed BoBoBo."
Something to keep in mind when we demand more BoBoBo.

His name was "Kabeo", which pretty much means "Wall Man". So if the scans is approaching the end of C-Block, then that means that…well, there's a couple training chapters for Heppokomaru first, but more importantly, A-Block (aka, Tennosuke) is next!

Wow, now throw in all the random stuff that happens in Bo-bobo and you got yourself an awesome manga.
Shame the anime was cancelled around Volume 17. Now we'll never see Ga-oh.
To the Japanese learning books!

Yeah…
! The exact point where the Bo-bobo anime ends is about chapter 178 (the third chapter in volume 17), just after the Three Sacks are defeated, but with Hydrate conquering the Maruhage Empire in the process. The only thing that clashes between the final shot of the anime (from what I've seen) and the manga is that Torpedo Girl is in that last anime shot…and she was still OVER in the manga at that point! (would love to know how they got her back in the final episode...)
If only Bo-BoBo can have a second anime season..I still dont get why they cancelled it!!
The Japanese PTA ruled it as too violent, even with the edits to the anime adaption. Maybe the PTA figured if kids like the anime, they'll go read the more violent manga. I hope I'm not sterotyping this very much but, the average Japanese person probably reads as much as the average American watches TV, so the PTA may have wanted to elimainate any connection.
I'll miss tonight's episode but tell me they keep a weird 5 second scene between Suzu and Beauty. After Suzu shows he Don Patch costume and Bobobo shows his costume, Beauty puts her hand Suzu's shoulder and the camera starts closing in on their faces with Kenny G music in the background. A bit out of context yuri there in the Japanese version so its unlikey in the dub but now you know what might have been cut out.
Tone down of the names… but the blood thing was said by that guy, and H.P.S.J. Was in the dance part! (Hint) Jelly was the bomb! Then Baka Survivor in weak part! (Hint x2) (And that part was there with Suzu and Beauty.)
Holy crap baka survivor in bgm. Why wont they play it as the theme??
did the anime change bobbo and co from looking like kids to old people in the anime insted? If so ;-;. It looked that way in the flashback.
Also the fake don patch suzu thing was a lot funnier in the manga
Hell everything in the manga was funnier tonight. Especially the spandex rangers skit
KICK ARSE. At least we heard a little of Baka Survivor. I guess the wikipedia article saying they change the opening @ 38 was wrong.

No they were kids, but they made them Old in the recap to fool people like you! (In the original)
They are avoiding usin idiot in the show for some reason… (Idiot Killer = Joke Killer Idiot (or stupid) = Meathead)
The thing said until 38, so it may be used in 39. SNOT-FO-YOU IS BACK! So is softon. But still no H.P.S.J., MAYBE NEXT TIME?!
Tonight's ep was hilarious, even though I knew what was going to happen. I'm glad Softon's finally back, he's pretty much the only character in the show who's serious.
H. P. S. J. Nani??
Don Patch's VA was exellent in this episode, especially when he was sneaking up to the Muscle Marshal's stage. Now THAT is talent.
Edit: HAH! Mr. Evil, our avatars pair together!
Actually, I thought I heard H.P.S.J in the BG in the scene with Bo-bobo and Tennosuke boogying. But that must of been me. (then again, I loved the "Baka Survivor" scene with the bad re-enactment of the Vol. 14 cover).
Believe it or not, I actually haven't read the "Hell Killers" fight probably due to the whole matter regarding the manga being out here and my head not interested in looking due to that, but I loved this episode. Probably the parts that really got to me included Suzu's Don Patch impersonation and the Saint Seiya bit with the cold compress! (considering the ways they get around DBZ, I didn't expect them to keep a Saint Seiya reference…then again, Toei did that anime too and I guess the mangaka is a bit less reselient than Toriyama..or something) Oh, and the scouter...never forget the scouter!
There's DBZ references, just not as explicit as the Kamehameha one. Like in tonight's episode, Don Patch did a spoof of the "ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT KURIRIN?!" scene in the Freeza battle.
On another note, the transition from manga to anime really kills a lot of the humor.

What scene is that? Both in Bo-bobo and Dragonball.
And I notice they add A LOT to the anime compared to the manga.
In the introduction of Heppokomaru chapter, it was quick and to the point. In the anime, it was long and drawn out.
Of course, I've only read 19 chapters that were scans.

Guess I meant that the DBZ stuff isn't as obvious as the others. I remember the "Chaotzu's Sacrifice" scene from the OVER fight for one thing, not to mention a good chunk of that intro to one of the Four Heavenly Kings (Purupuu more precisely) is a whole big Frieza parody. (I do notice that most of Sawai's DBZ jokes are from the Vegeta and Frieza arcs…must be his favorite part of the series) But after seeing that scene last night with the Saint Seiya TF (even though I've only seen a couple of episodes from that horrible DIC dub) made me think for a moment...not sure what, but it did.
Almost as random as something else we all know about:

Look at the last two.
