I think I'm starting to grasp what is it about Dorohedoro I like so much, and that sometimes can make it somewhat exasperating, and that's Hayashida's absolute compromise in making things as organic and "breathing" as possible. Like, after two months of no Dorohedoro I wanted as much content as possible, and yet 50% of the chapter was a silent sequence of Kirion going to the market, grabbing some cans, cooking and then going to feed his (her?) comrades. You might think "goddammit, answer some questions, give us more meaty stuff!", but at the same time scenes like this one get you so much into Dorohedoro's universe, it makes its characters so much more alive, that it becomes engrossing in its own bizarre way.
Like, this chapter was so enjoyable, even when it went by in the blink of an eye and it was potentially NOT needed, but. . .yeah. It was so good.
