I hated foxy and apis so much, i still remember how pissed i was back then!
I really loathe the tenryuubito… they are appalling... but i don't hate them as much as the other two

I hate a couple of fish/mermen like hachan, van der decken... the rest of them is just boring, especially jinbe... he is so boring, i almost died of boredom once!
I hate lao g and trebol... funny at start, but after a while they were unbearable
Sanji annoys me but its not so strong to hate him…okay pre-timeskip I did, esp. when he would say things like he didn't care if Usopp died to protect Nami. (think that was in Skypeia arc)
I hated the pre-timeskip Nami due to her shallow behavior of money is better than friends. But post-timeskip Nami doesn't have that same vibe.
Now I don't hate any of the SHs.
While I may hate what some characters do: Kuro, Crocodile, Enel, Doflomingo , they weren't stupid and they were good villains for their arc/stage the SHs were at. so will not say they are my least fave characters
My least fave character? Always hated Foxy & Spandam, both annoying and esentailly stupidly weak, only the men beneath them made any sort of threat. (yes most of Foxy pirates were weak, thee were a lot and they knew the pirate code of the Davy Back games that forced the SHs to 'play nice')
Also hated Moria but he was on a different level than those two, he was actually a serious threat by himself, without any underlings.

Even with the climatact, Nami doesn't beat Usopp's arsenal and his Kabuto. The fact he was able to defeat some top officers in the new fishman pirates and she wasn't helps show how Usopp has grown.

So far a good place to read online is Batoto, they usually do good in translating. The b/w versions may not be best in the early chapters but are wonderful in later. Thought the color version (yes they do have colored manga online!) is good.

I won't spoil anything (that you don't want to hear-mostly) just please keep an open mindon the characters, and really decide once you've learned some of them. They all have flaws but balance out in some way, even Usopp. (and I'm being toned down there since he's my fave

I read the actual manga books that i rented from my library and i also read them online at Kissmanga.com.I have vol's 2,3,and 4 and I'm reading vol 1 online still waiting for the actual book to come in.
I actually have watched the anime to episode 317 and stopped. i wanted to read read the manga and its so interesting how different it is from the anime <3

That is second hand info, coming from a voice actress and many, many years old. All we have to do is look at the manga and see them fighting. esp. in FI, Oda shows Usopp has improved during the timeskip.

Can you can back that up… IF you've read a recent article (something from the last five years, not 10 or more) stating Oda's view, then please supply it. For as recently as the FI, it showed Usopp stronger than Nami.

It's hard to choose between Crocodile, Doflamingo, Blackbeard and Spandam. But you're supposed to hate them so I guess I'll just list among Strawhats… Usopp. He's kind of annoying.

I think that Akainu's character is yet to be shaped, it is quite boring now. Only the great villain can make the good boys shine.
I didn't like Franky pre timeskip. But post time skip he became one of my favorites.
I like Robin a lot, but she hasn't had her own fight since Skypia. Why even bother with her, if all she does is grow huge legs and stomp worthless fodder.
Don Kreig. Least interesting main villain. Also, his Wanted poster has him with an awesome mane of hair, which he is most certainly NOT sporting once he has his fated ass-kicking by Luffy.

my least fav straw hat character, it's Chopper because of his cowardice which is worse for me than Usopp because unlike Usopp who is weak, Chopper is actually really strong and he shouldn't have been scared by a character like Giolla, he should have been Karate Pointing her into oblivion not needing Brook to save him. Where's the cool chopper who took on Mr.4, miss Merry Christmas and Gedatsu.

I wouldn't say that Nami and Robin are weak, Oda simply doesn't write them into 1 on 1 fights as much as he does the male characters. Robin after all these years has still only had 1 fight in a 1 on 1 match up as a part of the crew and that was against Yama from Skypiea. The fact that she was the only straw hat who stayed on Dressrossa that didn't get to ko a Doflamingo executive was total BS. Even Nami only has two 1 on 1 fights (Miss Doublefinger & Kalifa) and she's been here since the very beginning.
In simple terms the girls get pushed aside so Oda can show of the male characters every arc, especially Zoro he hasn't went 1 single arc without defeating at least 1 opponent even Punk hazard were we had a female villain, instead of Robin or Nami getting the battle against Monet it was Zoro, I'm sure Nami could have used some special weather attribute to overcome her Logia abilities and defeat her or it would have been a nice time to reveal to us that Robin has Haki because she should.
what One Piece is in desperate need of for the crew right now is a full crew battle, like what we got in Alabasta or Enies Lobby, we need some challenging opponents for all the crew to face so that they can take that next step up, especially Zoro, his fights are living on his enemies gimmicks right now because he learned how to cut Steel way to soon and the next level of cutting Diamond and Sea Stone can't happen until the final arcs, so he's been left to stagnate because no one can challenge him in a fight unless thur the main baddie of teh arc who Luffy has to defeat. Kaku, Pica, Ryouma, so on, not 1 has convinced me that Zoro could lose for 1 second like Mr.1 did and that's ultimately making Zoro's fights boring for me.
I know we cant get full crew battles every arc cause that would require about 2 or 3 chapters per fight for each crew member which would be 16-24 chapters which is half a year which means every arc would probably be over a year long. But it's been 10 years since Enies Lobby I think we are overdue a full crew battle and I hope we get it on Wano and if we don't we absolutely have to have one against Kaidou.
