@S.C.:
I believe that is new.
Snooping around tells me that's her V-Reversal. Neat.

R. Mika ? Really ? That is…wow !! Zangief would be proud.
And a new tag team mechanic ? Great, I still miss the ringside that she summons in SFA3 though.
Magical hair slipping through arms is a real thing in this game…
But whatever, it's Rainbow Mika! And this video kinda made me feel nostalgic, even her moves feel... Alphaish.
Wait, does this means no El Fuerte?
Probably. Even though they don't look like they share the same mechanics, they're both so similar in theme. And Fuerte wasn't very popular, anyway… he'll be DLC far down the line, if ever.
Meanwhile, Mika looks godlike. I love how she can cut a promo mid-match and then cancel it into a "drop the mic" toss.
Oda has been wanting R. Mika in Street Fighter IV for the longest time, but he was never allowed to. Street Fighter V is his chance.
Remember: This game isn't going to have a huge roster. For every character that gets in, there's going to be more and more DLC that is unlockable for free with in-game currency. So if a character doesn't get in, they will join someday.

R. Mika V-Trigger Details!
By calling Nadeshiko (R. Mika's tag team partner) at the right time using her V-Trigger ability, you'll be able to setup sneaky attacks and punishing command grab mix-ups that are sure to knock the stuffing out of your opponent. Players who enjoy close-combat guessing games and striking fear into the hearts of opponents will find R. Mika an absolute delight to play.V-Skill: Mic Performance - R. Mika pulls out her trusty microphone and gives a heart-pumping monologue to the crowd. The longer the buttons are held down, the more powerful her normal and special throws become! During her monologue state, she is able to absorb one hit from the opponent and can also cancel the speech at any time by letting go of the buttons, causing her to fling the mic at the opponent.
V-Trigger: Nadeshiko (3 Variations) - Now this is wrestling! Depending on the direction held during the V-Trigger activation, R. Mika's faithful tag-team partner will deliver a surprising, high flying attack at the opponent from different angles: neutral (body splash from above), hold back (dropkick from the front), hold forward (dropkick from behind). The different variations keep opponents guessing and afraid to hit buttons, perfectly setting up R. Mika's damaging command throws. (Source: Capcom Unity)
OH MY GOD! She can smack talk!?! Oh man, she's going to be fun to play as!
And here's R. Mika's full movelist.

I'm not entirely sure what Cammy is dressed up as but she looks cool
I'm assuming it's a wetsuit of some sort.
Chun-li and Cammy with their hair down?
You are REQUIRED to hit her, or else you risk harder hitting throws. A grappler that you NEED to hit to survive.

i'm not the gamer type… but this, i must have... lol
Our second new character has been revealed in Dubai! Rashid. He has the classical sultan-esque getup which looks great. The only thing I can tell with the amateur video recording is that Rashid has a wind based attack and it's also featured in his ultimate attack. http://www.eventhubs.com/news/2015/sep/11/street-fighter-5s-second-brand-new-fighter-revealed-rashid-joins-fray/
Well so far I like his appearance and the low quality gameplay vid.
Isn't there a new character in Tekken 7 that looks just like that?
He does the windy thing well
A middle-eastern character released on 9/11. I can hear the complaining now.
Eventhubs put up a cleaner reveal trailer for Rashid. I like his wind attacks very much, and I didn't notice that badass green monocle earlier. For some reason I expect his victory pose would be floating on a "magic" carpet since magic carpets are very iconic to Middle Eastern legends. http://www.eventhubs.com/news/2015/sep/11/street-fighter-5s-second-brand-new-fighter-revealed-rashid-joins-fray/
Pretty much confirmed 100% at this point that the leak a bit ago is more or less accurate. inb4 final new characters revealed are called Laura and Zen.

I've found a couple of leaked rosters, which one do you mean?

Ken Bogard's (the french guy) leak/rumor that mentioned that R. Mika was going to be included, and that a new character called Rashid would be announced, along with new characters called Zen and Laura.

Aw…. Poison isn't on that list.
Capcom, why hast thou forsaken me?!

Probably going to make her a DLC character… Also, that might not have been his predicted roster (not sure now). I just know he's french, his name is Ken Bogard, and he's been pretty much 100% accurate so far when it comes to rumors and predicitions about the game.

Poison being DLC would be acceptable as far as I'm concerned.
They promised this one won't have "Super Ultra Mega Hyper Street Figher V Turbo Hyper Fighting Championship Edition HD" stuff going on right? It'll be one game supported by DLC right?

That's what they've been saying, they just want to focus on a single game and add on to it as opposed to making 50,000 different versions of the same game.
This game needs more than 2 new characters anyway.
We have video! (Oh, it was posted on that previous link. How embarrassing for me. My bad. Still, I'll keep it here.)
He looks like fun.
Isn't there a new character in Tekken 7 that looks just like that?
Exactly. The very same walking stereotype. I don't know if Tekken's one can become a genie, though.
He fits in Street Fighter, though. This franchise is FILLED with stereotype characters.
I am suddenly afraid of the supposedly new brazilian character (Laura). I would love an indigenous woman, but this name and the stage announced make it very unlikely.
Stereotypes aside, this Rashid play style seems great.
I'm imagining her now. A women dressed from head-to-toe in feathers and Carnival glitter, with a Capoeira fighting style.

Both of those are better than a random green beastman with electric powers actually.
Or perhaps a Vale Tudo-based fighting style centered around Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu?

At least Laura is a convincing name. I have troubles depicting a brazilian guy named Sean Matsuda. Or Blanka…

This sounds… AMAZING!
A Middle East character ? Thank you Capcom, now we need another african character. And about "Laura", maybe the carnaval skin will be DLC, but I will imagine a girl from Rio de Janeiro (more specific from the slums), that dances funk carioca mixed with capoeira
Now that would be a perfect brazilian character right there.
I'm imagining her now. A women dressed from head-to-toe in feathers and Carnival glitter, with a Capoeira fighting style.
Sure why not. We have R. Mika with more than half of her boobs hanging out.
I'm assuming Rashid's bank account is way over 9000:ninja:
About Rashid:
I liked his design, a bit too similar to Shaheen from Tekken, but I did like the green scouter monocle he has and I also liked his wind attacks, at least is not a sand attack. He is very agile, and fun to play.
Good job Capcom.
First we get Shaheen (T7)
! and now Rashid? How interesting.
Shaheen just looks boring to me, I don't know. He's also transparently inspired by "the Arab man who was deported for being too handsome":
Rashid at least adds something unexpected with his scouter and jetpack(?), and sticks to a single color which unifies the design more. Maybe I'm just being biased, but I like Rashid's design a lot more. And his moves are certainly unique, something else Shaheen lacks.
To be honest, I find Rashid's design kinda generic. Say, if it was a 90's beat-em-up, I could see Shaheen being the stage boss with a mob of 5 random guys… and those guys would all look just like Rashid.
