I partly agree with Sephi. OP has become a victim of it's own lenght. So things that were appealing before are starting to get tedious now. It won't get better unless Oda changes some things, at least for a while. Shabondy, Impel Down and Marineford were all welcome change after several arcs with a similar formula. Now we've had 3 "liberation arcs" in a row. Really hope we don't get to Wano so soon after this.

This is another "tried-and-true" argument that gets thrown around, and at this point its just a tiresome, thoughtless defense. Do we need to go back and reread the 200 chapter Naruto zombie war before we can validate our criticism that it was dragged out? Or is there some arbitrary arc-length cutoff, after which you are allowed to critizise its pace?
Anyway. Ignoring the fact that we're 90+ chapters into an arc with weekly chapters and discussions, lets pretend that people had to wait until the arc was over to do a critical analysis of its pace (and only if they had reread it), withholding any criticism while watching people freely post positive opinions on a weekly basis. Not everyone has the time and desire to commit to that, and then if you do wait 'til the arcs end, you'd get the honor of voicing your critique in the lower-traffic arc-thread, easily ignored by posters in the Weekly threads, and swiftly rendered obsolete by the start of the next arc…which weekly discussions will be immune to criticism, until the arcs end.
Its true that some things need time to pay off, and sure, people jumping the gun and going "These Coliseum characters are all boring fodder!" 5 chapters in is a bit silly. But you can't just use "people should wait until the arc is over before complaining!" as some catch all rule. It places a disproportionate burden on people with a negative opinion, while effectively segregating their opinions from the mainstream discussion, just so you don't have to read text you disagree with.
I was just trolling about Sanji, vs Akainu…. I just think him saying my heart burns hotter than your magma would be a great finishing line. Its been so long since he's used a witty quip...

Man, I just want one arc where we're not on the impending doom clock. Fishman Island had the Noah falling, Punk Hazard had shittykuni and now Dressrosa has Birdcage. If Zou isn't some Jaya or Water 7 type shit then I'm going to freaking lose it.

I think it's something of a sanctuary in this part of New World. Law probably wouldn't leave his crew there if it wasn't safe. Samurai probably had a good reason to think they might get help there.
So maybe someone strong enough not to be bothered by pirates and marines resides there. It could be Revolutionary base, one of Shanks' islands or Whitebeard pirates base (I sure would like to see what became of them). Or maybe it's another group, not yet revealed. Might even be that "Jack" person. Oda doesn't just throw around new names unless their owners are due to appear. Just throwing ideas.

That is indeed lazy, I'm not trying to offend, it's just the truth.
How can you be so certain that Oda is being lazy when you don't know his intention? Maybe he felt the flashbacks were needed based on how long the arc is and he wanted to make sure younger or more forgetful readers would remember why those characters were so relieved.
I have a feeling that the next 3 chapters will be so cool, people will pardon DressRosa's issues and maybe even feel some pay-off. Hopefully Oda won't change focus to something else so soon.

You want to go over this in such detail? Fine by me, lets look at Kizuchans posts then.
Before you first replied to him, Kizuchan had 7 posts voicing his misgivings in this thread, and Importantly, none of them feature personal attacks on other posters. Then, you reply to his gripes with the compelling argument of "get over it". Kizuchan posts three more times in the same style as before, replying to you and trying to go more in depth with explaining his opinion, and you then post again to talk about him "bitching". One more post from Kizuchan, directed at someone else, and you reply with the "Not enough Boobs and Vagina from Rebecca for you, battle junkie?" post that triggered this whole thing.
I don't know what you were expecting to accomplish with this excercise other than wasting time and making yourself look like even more of an ass.
Because I don't care if Kizuchan had made 50 posts of criticism before you wrote your response, your tone and arguments were still completely unwarranted, and you are absolutely refusing to acknowledge it. Instead, you're trying to pretend that your post was totally reasonable, as long as we "know the context"- that appearently being that Kizuchan made X number posts you disagreed with.
Now dude, I've been trying to give you the benefit of the doubt. But these knee-jerk answers that completely refuses to engage with the overall message I'm trying to send you? That quite reminds me of a word which sounds like "bitching", but starts with Troll.
