Louis, although I agree with you that APForums can easily start bashing a series just for the sake of it, if you ask for constructed criticism they can give you viable arguments, as shown by Razh, outside of the "no sense of danger" point (with which i agree but to each their own), all of his points are OBJECTIVE, not subjective.
Your arguments on the other hand are founded on something that the manga never made reference to.
Looking at the scans that you yourself posted, you can't take the conclusion that Gremmy's power didnt affect Kenpachi because of reiatsu level, you just cant, thats 100% made up by you. By your scans, reiatsu can give your body a physical edge over someone's lower reiatsu'd, you can't be cut/pierced by them. thats all Bleach has ever shown and said. Thats why your Gremmy argument is bollocks.
but EVEN IF what you said was true, then why did he need 2 Gremmy's for extra imagination? it doesnt work like that, even in manga logic it makes no sense. why wasn't the Quincy attack based on him imagining a 1000 volcanos erupting from the ground and destroying soul society like that?
Look, everyone here loved the premise of Bleach, and that is why most of us are still reading, because nostalgia, but nowadays, Bleach is nothing more than vague power explanations and big energy blasts, every power is now drawn as a white blast or a black smudge.
It's okay to smudge the lines of what defines a power, I mean, this isnt rocket science, but Kubo has smudged the lines so much that you cant make out whats what anymore.
I like reading Bleach, its fast and entretaining, but I certainly do not respect it as a good manga, its even more senseless than Fairy Tail, and thats saying A LOT.
Bleach is an hamburger, feels good to pick it up and eat, but you know that it is not good, and the more you think about it, the more you realise you shouldnt have read it
