Registered is the exact same as SAL it just adds tracking and insurance. At an added cost of 410 yen I believe.

Unfortunately, I am very sorry, but in a case like this, we cannot state with any certainty that the item will be able to be shipped by SAL Small Packet or not. The item has not yet been released by the manufacturer; we cannot and will not make any such statements until after the item is in our hands and we are able to measure its packaging.

Such answers are to be expected, really. Keeping it ambiguous enough to stay on the safe side in case something doesn't go their way; even though you yourself know the dimensions of the figure already. Personally I'd go with 1Up if I were you since that way you'll avoid pointless customs and will probably pay less overall. But I'm sure you're aware of that already, kanji.

Probably to avoid the $40 payment upfront, as that's probably my main deterrent from going there as well.

Just imagine a scenario where Corky committed to telling you "Yes, we will be able to ship via SAL Small Packet" and come release it turns out not to be the case? It would look reaaaalllly bad on him, and in turn HLJ as a whole. Plenty of things can change between now and then; Megahouse might change the box dimensions or his boss might make a bad judgement call and purchase boxes that are slightly too big. I say props to him for being honest and not risking the possibility of unintentionally misleading you just to make a sale off you. It may not seem like it because he didn't give you the answer you wanted, but that is good CS in my opinion.
Remember, we're a community that scrutinizes everything, and shares our experiences in order to make sure fellow collectors aren't scammed or misled. HLJ is well aware of sites like AP and MFC and how our communities function. It's small things like potentially giving one customer false information that can ruin a shops credibility in the eyes of dozens.
Just my 2 cents.

It's the same here tbh. While I appreciate the low price, I'm not a fan of paying upfront (neither partially nor full).

Xajen and I have been debating it. When we were taking deposits it seemed as though 80% or so of people who placed orders preferred to pay in full. That's why we did away with deposits. I'm hesitant to bring it back because I don't want to confuse people, I owe it to customers and potential customers to be consistent with my model. That's not to say we won't make changes or explore alternate payment methods in the future, I just need to make sure transitions are as seamless as possible for myself and my customers. I won't make any moves unless they are.

like Raithos said i don't wanna pay 40$ upfront, i don't like to pay an amount and wait, this is why i usually gor for stores like HLJ and Nippon Yassan, i already have few POP with 1 UP when i got few extra money to give, but now i can't mostly because Alter getting pushed their figures and so i need to keep that money.

because the size of a deskmat is 30*40 so it's EMS only, and when i asked to roll it up they told me they don't have anything that can make it roll it will damage it, so i asked to cancel and they told me they can do it but only refund me 85% of the price i paid since it was more than 10 days than the item is sitting in the private warehouse.
At least they helped me finding a solution :)

Yeah, I kinda get where you're coming from Louis, and I think maybe the way I worded my e-mail put them on the spot and obviously it would be unproffesional for them to guarantee anything like that, but hypothetically I don't see why it's a problem. I mean the final product details, release dates, etc. are all subject to change, but we don't get mad at the the retailer for that. If MH decide to change their box size then that's not your fault as a seller.

Yeah, it says late June on the Megahobby page, same as Robin Z, so don't expect we'll start seeing any pictures until around the 27th/28th.
I'm expecting the next POP pre-order announcement in about 3 weeks. I reckon they'll give us some more Z this time around. Luffy most likely since Zoro SA is already getting a re-release in October. My money's on the PO opening 10th July along with Megatre taking orders for the LIMITED Kalifa. Both should be released in November.
It'll be interesting to see Luffy painted, I wonder whether MH's finally get him right this time
Anyway, since I got Shiryu, I'll be passing on PO's for a little while, need to start saving.

I refuse to pay anymore than 9,000 yen shipped for him, so unless they do another bargain sale @ HS and include a half price shipping promo I won't bother.
Rakuten was the best option, but maybe you should wait and see if HLJ put him on sale. They have 20% off on EMS and you could combine orders from different months to save more.

! I like your idea, thing is it you have to 1.make a mold, 2.need a shaker to stop air bubbles getting in your resin, 3. Need luiqid clear resin (which isnt cheap) and 4. need to be able to sculpt a good heart.

at the moment its difficult, doing business in mainland china is difficult and dangerous, like me going to America and then into the ghettos and tryna make a deal there with one of the dealers, and my volume of orders is high and a large sum of money is involved to make it all more dangerous.
at the moment he is telling the brook add-ons are going to be delayed until the end of this month again.
about those Trafalgar law hearts, suppose i be getting stock of those at the end of the week or the beginning of next week but who knows with the way aforce is doing business at the moment, so that's why i haven't put them up for order/preorder yet, sorry for this guys.

I got my HLJ order and awhile ago they put up some Fate/Zero IK prize items and I bought the Kyun-chara item for 350 yen just on a whim since it didn't state what you were getting really. Well it is indeed a chibi Kyun chara, the blind packaged set and I got the lamest character in the set. :/
I F'in hate blind packaging! I have the worst luck with them. I once bought a Tashigi deformeister figure opened then bought a random blind one from the same set of 8 at a different store hours later. I got a second Tashigi. These were physical stores not online so it was even more annoying. I had a 1 in 8 chance and I got a double.
Guess I'll try and sell or give this one away, its Berserker's master whatever the hell is name is. I would have been satisfied with any other one but no.
