What this thread is for?
I want to refine the concept and make it clearer before starting, so feel free to ameliorate the concept, I'll update the main post quite regularly.

If you want to help, it will probably be useful, write it in this thread.

I hope the concept to be ready for monday, so if you are interested check for it monday, you should be able to bet on another thread or something…

Rules

1. Each arlong parker begins with a 100,000 Bellis to bet, you won't get any more so don't bet it all the same week.

2. There is one betting round for each chapter.

3. Each round is a totaly separate poll of money, so you may not want to bet every thing on the first chapter for it won't be decided until the rounds in the story ends which may take may weeks.

4. The money pool for each round is divided amongst the people who guess right proportionnaly the amount that you bet.

5. You can bet on any outcome for the round and if you are amongst the people who are right you win.

6. If nobody guessed right, everyone gets their money back (but then again, if even one person bet 1 B$ on Other he gains the bet of the week.

7. Bets must be placed before monday 23h GMT.

8. I'll do the banking so it'll be impossible to cheat.

Participants are the following for round 1 of gambling : Kuzan 100000 B$, Buggy 100000 B$, Kaya 100000 B$, Robin 100000 B$, Kraken 100000 B$, Hachi 100000 B$, Kid 100000 B$, Crocrodile 100000 B$, Miss Wednesday 100000 B$ and Gin 100000 B$

All participants bet on block B:

Kuzan bets 10000 B$ on Bellamy
Buggy bets 1000 B$ on Daruma and 1000 B$ on Elisabeth the fighting king
Kaya bets 10000 B$ on Bellamy
Robin bets 20000 B$ on Hack and 10000 B$ on Other
Kraken bets 100000 B$ on Tank
Hachi bets 10000 B$ on Bellamy
Kid bets 50000 B$ on Bartholemo
Crocodile bets 100000 B$ on Sir Crocodile
Miss Wednesday bets 30000 B$ on Daruma
Gin bets 10000 B$ on Bartholemo

Total pot for round 1 : 352 000 B$

Winner for Round 2: No one guessed right but Robin said other so she wins all = 115000

If not there could be a one time special event betting on that… (like, one week to bet then it's over and winnings will be reparted when it's settled...) ...but you won't be able to use that money again for a while... since when the bets closed, the bets are frozen and the money bet is substRACTED FROM YOUR ACCOUNT.

I'll keep the count, it will be posted in each new round, with the standings… people can enter any round with 100000, provided they never participated before.

maybe like you can't participate for a week and then you start anew..

and if everyone miss everyone gets their money back.. it would be more fun if everyone looses it.. :p

I don't get No.4 ether but No.10 goes like this: In this chapter we got the introduction of the gladiators that will be participating in each block, we know enough info now to make a bet on each block, If in this chapter you bet 50 APM (ARLONG PARK MONEY), you have to bet again before the next chapter comes out since this one is an exception due to their introduction, so your next bet will pile up with your new one, If you bet 50 APM again you'll have 100 APM in block B but If block B doesn't end within the next chapter then you'r next bet will go straight to your already bet 100 APM till block B battle royal ends.

NO.11 I believe that this one is a rule for us to bet among us.
ie: If I bet on Bellamy for block B and one you bet on Bartolomeo, we will be betting among us even though it will get really confuse since a lot of people will bet the same guy but I think he also made a rule according to that situation.

PS: I'm against of the FOREVER part since you will be the House, you should do something like this: If I lose all my money I can still get some money IF I discover something interesting in a chapter, bring a good theory to the forum (have to be acknowledge by three people or more) and stuff like that, also a great price to the theory that becomes reality in the story.

soo.. is the subject of the bet is decided by the TS or are we just bet on anything? preferably the former because if we can just bet on anything then people will bet on something random or stupid and it will be hard for the TS to keep track of everything.

Also guys you can not bet 40,000 APM to the four blocks since we are only in block B, so You bet 10,000 for block B and wait if you win/lose within the next chapter, IF the battle doesn't end in the next chapter you can add some more APM to your bet till the actual winner of that block is reveal.

PS: we know that the tournament will get interrupted so veering on that is just silly

the thing is we know does two winner but there's two more blocks, after does blocks are done we may get a 4 VS 4 battle where only one will be standing and that one will fight Diamanté or just 1vs1 also we are not completely sure that the tournament will be interrupted anyway

Nah i think after the final four we going to have two winners and the winner of that round going against Diamante but anyway i think the Tournament will get interupted when the 4 winners from each block will face the 4 members of Doflamingo Family

What If in the two winner there's a DD member and a non- DD member, I don't think the tournament is played out to be like that two against the king of the coliseum and more if those are Jesus and Luffy also the exchange is at 3 O'clock if I'm not mistaken, right now should be around 11-12 O'clock OP time so there's plenty of time before the warships arrive at greenbit and the marines start to move unless Fujitora arrives at GB and start slapping people right away

I was thinking something along those lines since Kinemon and Sanji's side story is already linked and Zoro's can be link to them anytime, it will definitely be epic If they appear out nowhere and see Luffy being attack by DD's men and just jump in like in FI when Luffy was walking toward Hordy also Franky being on the basement of the coliseum and using RB to get out of there in a cool way just like Garp punching the wall back in water 7

This is the only logical thing to do since this is the event that will come to a close much sooner than any other type of events we could bet on.Also everyone should be betting on the same event.

I think this idea might be very nice, IF players will participate (and i see there are already interested in it :)) and if you keep it up, update regulary and not get bored of it and dissapear from forums. But i guess someone could replace you in that case.

Then its your fault. It wouldn't make sense if you could come back after one week back with full cash. Then everyone would bet all their money and win tons of 'cash' or lose and just wait a week to start anew. If you don't play this game too harsh you should be able to play almost as long as you want. You could always leave 100berri for 'dark hour' and if you lose all your bets then you can start betting 1berri for each bet :D You won't win much but at least you can still have fun and see whether your bets wins or not :P And If there was to be 'new game' mode it should take more than 1 week, 1 month maybe?

edit: ok maybe people betting on everything is too random. Also it would be nice if you updated main topic with bets and things people bet on. Maybe make another topic for it? Damn it seems like this thing should get whole subforum ! xD

This makes waiting for new chapter even more exciting :D But I'm wondering about some things.

Example: Let's say Luffy doesn't win block C for whatever reason (being beaten, having to forfeit, whatever). I bet 1 000 on 'other than Luffy' and someone bet on someone specific like Chin Jao, aso 1 000.

Will we both win and he will get more cash cause he made it more specific? Or bet like 'someone else other than Luffy' is too vague and doesn't count?

Or maybe only something like 'other' work, so i will win if someone who noone bet on will win?

Next question:

Someone was proposing a bet like 'Bellamy and Barto will be 2 last man standing in block B" does it count? If noone bets for other pair of 2 that stands before the final duel in block B then his bet is invalid?

Last question:

What if block B doesn't come to finish, for example Tournament is stopped for some reason. We will get cash back? The one who voted 'other' will win?" Or 'other' will only count if someone else wins than anyone bet on?

1. "Other" refers to any person who was't mentionned by any body in their bets, however, if there is a more precise bet, it wins and "other" loses.

2. This will be treated as 25000 on Bell and 25000 on Bart.

3. "Other" refers to a participant therefore, other would not win in that case. However, if someone said "no winner", he wins.

Also, if olny one person bet on the right outcome, he wins everything, regardless of the amount he bet.
