Oh don't worry, I have no intention of not lynching today. Assuming 2 mafia, we've got a 50-50 shot, and assuming 3, that's a 3-in-4 gamble.

I still suggest not talking at night, since we're toast if the Mafia gets the other/one of the other Town pairs.

It really sucks that we don't have a whole lot to go on either.

If there are 3 mafia then we cannot afford a mislynch today. But a no lynch just means that the mafia can choose who to gamble on at night and win that way. -> We have to lynch

If there are 2 mafia and we mislynch today there will be two M/T townie pairs left and one T/T at night. That's still a 50% chance of losing. Or we survive with one mafia and three townies and lynch then.

If there are 2 mafia and we hit one of them there will be one M/T pair left and two T/T. At night they will probably off a T/T pair and it'll be the same as above.

If there are 2 mafia and we no lynch, then there'll be two M/T and two T/T pairs at night. 66% of losing two townies. We'd be left with two mafia and 4 townies. 66% chance of lynching a mafia/mafia lover then if I'm not mistaken. Which leads to one mafia and 3 townies at night and the remaining mafia would have pretty good odds again. -> bad

If there is 1 mafia player…stuff would happen, I don't think it's likely.

In conclusion I think we lynch. If we mislynch we mustn't talk to our lovers or we'll lose.

First off I'll make it known that I have every intention of talking tonight if we successfully lynch. Haven't made up my mind yet if a mislynch happens. Somewhat concerned that this will cause a loss of decent powers though. We already lost the doctor and if we have a cop pair I think they should use their ability either way.

As far as how many mafia I think there are…I would hazard a guess of 2-3 maf, but this talk will get us going in circles.

It's a theory, but as anyone can tell, night powers are tied to both lovers agreeing to the power use. What's the best way to make sure no errant powers interfere with a kill? Silence the QTs that aren't mafia influenced. How does the mafia do that? Feign a plan to make it seem okay to not talk at least the first night, so that they can get a free kill in.

That's all well and good, but here's the kicker, what if someone tries to talk in the QTs anyway? Well that's simple, count on the sheep town to alert the rest. All the mafia has got to do is suggest a lynch against the one that talks. They start off blending in saying their QTs are silent and wait for the unsuspecting dupe.

I've had this idea ever since Kits first mentioned the staying silent, which effectively shuts town powers down.

I want my lover to come clean, if you're town then we are good, but I won't hesitate to drop the hammer if you stay quiet.

As awesome as that theory is, it's not really the case at all. In fact, we'd be playing right into the Mafia's hands if we let them know who is in which room. THAT'S the one advantage we have, and that's what I intend to keep going into this night.

The biggest critical flaw with your conclusion is that the Mafia should have no idea who is in their room with them, making ANY so-called "free kill" a blind kill. Last night's kill was free because the Mafia got lucky. Tonight, luck won't be on their side, so long as no one does what you just did.

Town, do NOT follow Shuhan's lead on this. DO NOT CLAIM YOUR ROOM/ROLE AND DO NOT POST IN YOUR QUICKTOPIC. If you do, the Mafia will have a MUCH easier time securing a free hit on us.

As for shutting down town powers, as far as I can see, they're greatly limited as they are. One-shot, two or three of which are in Mafia hands to begin with, making them effectively useless, one of which is already flushed. I'm not shutting down Mafia powers, I'm shutting down ANY powers: they have a 50-75% chance of drawing blanks anyway. I'll admit that investigating Wooden at this point might be too risky, because there's no way of knowing what side the other Cop's on, nor if the Cop exists to begin with. But if we use them publicly the risk of Mafia interference disappears somewhat, thought not entirely. You are correct after all: What if I am mafia after all asking Cop to waste their power on a confirmed inno?

Regardless, don't make me elaborate on my plan just yet. But know this: If tomorrow, we forced everyone to mass claim their ROOM NAME, I've got a surefire way of catching every single mafia in a single move if they don't fakeclaim.

I highly doubt Mafia will kill if there's a more than likely chance they'll kill themselves. If neither of you are Mafia, the Mafia knows this and will lynch you safely tonight anyway. I'd rather take my chances at assuming one of you is Mafia. Shuhan's press on me was incredibly scummy and full of flaws, and I'm getting scummy reads from your "claim"

Basically, I've got plenty of reason to assume one of you is scum.

In all my years I've never been accused of being hyper aggressive. Maybe playing as Kureha really did bring out a certain side of me. Feel free to investigate me, as much as I'd like the cop to use what will likely be their only chance on a guilty party I have nothing to hide.

As far as this Galaxy/Shuhan v. Kitsune goes it's a real shame you guys were the watcher, otherwise we could have no lynched and had the watcher on one of you two. Kitsune is right about you guys basically being dead weight. If you two are both town then the mafia will only have a 50% chance of killing the last townie pair(assuming 2 scum). While I have seen Kitsune weave brilliant tales and strategies in the past I don't expect him to risk it all on the flip of a coin.

Side Note: I wish the cops were more like judges, that way we could play good cop bad cop in a room!

But they were trapped, in a large cage with no way out, and it wasn't long before the two hunters, their now ex-lovers, found them._
