I saw this thread bumped and got excited for a second… then... nothing.
Liar Game

-
Same, but November is better than nothing.
-
happy days :D
-
cool, less than a week to wait
-
First, Skyward Sword and Disgaea 4 come out on that day (in Australia) and now this?!
Nov. 24 becomes the 1st annual super-fucking-awesome-day for me.
-
1 week to go…finally :)

-
Look how shiny it is:swanson:

Here it is after such a long hiatus! I like how the author went straight to the mystery, drama, intrigue and of course the games. No bullshitting around or anything.
-
Liar's Game is back!
My life is complete.
-
YESSSSSSSSSS, great chap.
-
That Yokoja stays the main opponent was clear, but even when it could be boring to always see him battle Akiyama, i think it
s a good choice. I thought in the last game he would totally lose, but he actually managed to stay till the end and was defeated by pure "force". Iam curious what he figured out, because i don
t think he will go Naos way to play the game. -
Chapter 140
http://tdx-manga.livejournal.com/12103.html -
omg i fucking love this manga.
-
Yays! It's back! ^_^
I'm actually kinda hoping to see some sort of 'power-up' from Fukunaga. I consider him to be the third protagonist for this series.
Speaking of protagonists, I'm hoping that Akagi also comes back. Maybe he lied to Nao about leaving the game because he knew that Nao would stay for his sake. :p
-
LIAR GAMEEEEEEEE !
I missed you ;-;
-
Just started to read this manga on a whim and I gotta say it is awesome!!!1 Just finished the contraband game and theres just so many mind games.
Have to stop here for now, procrastination of schoolwork at its finest.
-
Would any of you guys be interested in playing Bid Poker, especially before the strategies and tactics required to win become apparent? I've got a very good grasp of the rules and I could run a little game for fun, if anybody's interested.
-
Where, when and how?
-
I would play any game of it
-
Is this back on haitus or something?
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
Ok,nobody was bothering updating the thread -___-
-
What is an actual Liar Game round without a literal "fuck you" move from the LGT office?
-
Nice chapter, I think Nao's plan is to make up for not taking a card in the bidding round but surely she needs some sort of assurances before takeing this risk as there is no guarantee that she would be able to complete a set much less have a good one.
I wonder what akimaya is going to do? He has been very quiet so far.
-
So far the Bid Poker turns out even slower than the last round.
I personally love poker and play it regulary, so iam rly looking forward to the whole stage, but so far it`s damn slow paced and it feels like it takes forever, lol. -
I don't know what you mean by that, It's being true to it's usual pace.
-
Kanzaki needs to stop leading the damn game, seriously. If Akiyama doesn't step in quick I'm goint to school girl squeel.
-
-
Just hate that I caught up to this manga. I want to read more. Hate waiting.
-
pretty sure he just gave his real tablet to one of his bitches from the start so that she could put her own digital print on it.
-
I find the little plan to agree not to touch your tablets was stupid. Instead of holding them face down they should put them on the floor face down at their feet. It's obvious that Harimoto took the opportunity to use his tablet at first when that other kid flinched and then drew everyone else's attention while one his women used his tablet.
Nice move by Akiyama but I'm lost at who chose him as their substitute and when it happened so for now I'm assuming that'll be revealed after
-
I think Harimoto hired Baldy into his posse and switched tablets with him, so he actually used the tablet whilst trying to pass it off as 'twitching'. Harimoto then gave Baldy's tablet to the girl, making people believe that it was actually his tablet, which explains why Frankenstein didn't see the girl do anything despite keeping his eye on her. Nobody is watching Baldy because their attention were divided between Harimoto and the girl.
Baldy sure is a good actor, see 3rd and 4th panel.

I've only just caught up on this, read all the chapters in a few days, and I'm loving it. This is the first really intellectual manga I've read, and my mind is bending in new ways every chapter.
The only problem I can see now is that it can be annoying having to wait for the chapters. It's much easier actually keeping all of the various characters and twists in your head when you're reading the chapters all in a row.
-
Why has there been no new chap in about two weeks?
-
@tdx_manga:
Also note that Liar Game is on a break next time. Chapter 149 will be published on February 25. And volume 14 is scheduled to be out on February 24. I'm buying it, obviously;)
Can you take this for an answer?
-
-
Chapter is out, Akiyama trolling 101
-
Nice chap. Funny in the end. I didn't notice that bald kid was the guy that got screwed out of Nao's team in the last game. Now it makes even more sense he'd team up with Harimoto.
Akiyama made some smart moves. I knew Harimoto and his ladies were switching with each other's tablets.
-
New chapter!!!!!

! "Yes, Kitsune, with a schedule as erratic as this cartoon's, you do have to wait a whole month for new episodes. And yes, it is very lame." -
Ugh why does this manga take so long w/ chapters, I'm just aching for more now!
-
Thanks for reminding me…it`s rly hard to keep now track of the new chapters..but so worthy, hehe.
-
The whole cult thing still feels really fake to me…I liked when other characters bought each other's loyalty. That made a lot more sense and was better in the spirit of Liar Game.

He DID buy their loyalties, with lies and religion, but bought. It's kind of stupid to see the "She's a demon!" thing vs the "You'll be rich" of before, as there's one that you can relate, if it was something like "you'll restore your family's honor!" or "you'll find the purpose of your life" would be more relatable.

Yeah I mean it's clearly a different storytelling mechanism to achieve the same ends, it's just not one that I enjoy. Purely a personal preference.
-
Just read the first chapter. Man the main character is stupid. She got fooled so easily.
-
I would like to think the main characters are shared. Author just looks at this story through Nao's eyes cuz she's so dumb.
