Hm..Austin vs Punk? I can see that. I mean they are both badasses and incredibly raw, and are always at odds with authority. Though Steve totally loves beer and Punk stays the hell away from it lol. A match between those two would be nice to see.
While we're throwing out Legendary Superstars vs Current Superstars, Mick Foley (Mankind) vs Santorella (The dude who does the Cobra thing) would be cool as well, though I think that Mankind would be a bit too "Hardcore" for Santorella lol.

I don't really mind Bryan. I mean it was interesting to see a guy hold onto the championship not so much because of wrestling prowess, but cunning(?). Sorta reminds me of Eddie Guerrero's shenanigans with the whole "Lie, Cheat, Steal" thing he had going.

take it with a grain of salt dudesInteresting. I've always liked Brock Lesnar, I was sorta miffed that he left. he was so dominating and that F5(?) finisher move was cool to see. I'm glad he's coming back. So Rock is gonna win the belt? Figures lol. I guess it's probably downhill from here for Cena, unless he could prove to be an interesting sideshow with an epic rivalry with some other superstar or smth.
I'm sorta apathetic towards the current Cena. I don't really hate him, but I don't like him that much either. I liked the wigga Cena, the dude with the chain and lock around his neck and subpar rapping skills, because he was hilarious ("Chew on theeeese nuts" lol). The marine grunt Cena was decent too, but the "Rise above the hate" Cena is sorta boring IMO.
Am I the only one that wished that Kurt Angle came back?

Bryan's popular because he's playing the douchebag role incredibly well. Heels often get cheered when they really sell their character well. Orton was getting cheered when he was super-evil explosive whatever disorder guy, rock was cheered during both his corporation and hollywood heel runs.

Edge was getting cheers during the beginning of Rated R Era character because of the entire Lita/Hardy mess. Bryan's current gimmick is basically like his heel run as ROH World Champion.

Yeah, your right…old -era kurt was awesome..it was actually that version I was thinking about when I said I wanted him to come back. Where is Kurt btw? The last time I checked he was in TnA no? I haven't watched TnA in forever (Even though I think that their matches are pretty entertaining and the finishers are way more creative than most of the WWE roster's), so I wouldn't know about the current Kurt that much. I heard that Jeff was screwing up a lot in TnA though, having a lot of sloppy matches and whatnot.

I agree here, the storylines aren't that good in TnA, not nearly as interesting as the ones that the WWE. I mean, even the major "Rivalries" and whatnot in TnA aren't that captivating. I guess TnA's marketing/promotion is pretty lackluster, which ties back into what you said, in terms of poor management. The only thing I really liked about TnA was the creativity of some of fighters there, especially the highflyers.

Oh I see. I looked it up and it's true, he was a wreck because of the schedule at WWE, and I guess that TnA had a lighter schedule, so going there was the next best option.

Lol, yeah I remember seeing this vid. That has to be the worst main event ever lol, barely anything happened. I miss the old Jeff…I remember Jeff Hardy being the more energetic and crazy one, with Matt being more stable. Jeff's table/ladder matches back in the WWE are legendary, and were some of the most entertaining matches I ever saw in the WWE... so sad to see what he's become now. The Hardy Boyz and the Dudley Boyz are my 2 fav tag teams ever.

Yea Teddy has exactly three moves he had been using for what seems like a decade: Holla holla player, shimmy dance, and declaring an impromptu tag team match with the wrestlers arguing in the ring. Stories are more interesting and exciting when the man in charge stacks the deck against the good guy.

The best part about Lesnar for me is that he is a legitimate bad ass that can murder you in real life, but he is also a complete asshole who will cheat and throw a one legged kid down a flight of stairs. He has every natural advantage in a fight but he still sneaks behind Cena and low blows him because he is a terrible person.
I agree with you on goofy Cena. There is a time and place.

Raw came to my town Detroit and I got to go to the show. i was awesome.Great raw.Before raw they taped Super Stars.JTG and some bald guy wrestled and kelly kelly and maxine. yes her ass is great in person.
What ya'll didnt see was after RAW all the locker room came out to say happy birthday to john cena. And later all the divas came in the ring and dog piled him :getlost: lucky bastard. It was a fun night
