except Ikkaku. He's a badass mofo.

As much as I love Bleach's "WTF" moments, sometimes I wonder if Kubo has thrown storytelling logic to the wind.
Even if Renji loses (which he might very well), at least he got to be a little badass in protecting Jinta.
And as much as I want Renji to win this on his own, I have a feeling Urahara will be necessary to win this.
-
that chapter was just too crazy….. everyone's getting raped!
my guess is something unpredictable is gonna happen, one thing I love about Bleach is it's plot twists... ya think yeah know what's gonna happen, and then WHAM!
I normally don't like making predictions, because if they come true I'm not as impressed with the outcome, but I'll make a few anyways
Urahara shows up, and uses Bankai
more Captains show up
Uruquila shows up, and says by order of Aizen to stop the fights because he's sick of seeing such weak trash fight (the VCs, and Captains) but he allows the Ichigo/Grimjaw fight to continue, because he finds Ichigo the most impressive
-
i think isshin will show himself and release his zanpakutou maybe his bankai
-
HAHA. Looks like all you peoples' predictions are gonna be wrong, for now, the restriction on the shinigami has been lifted. All hail Kubo Tite!
-
I guess the result of the character popularity poll in this issue is what saved Hitsugaya's ass. j/k j/k :P
-
Now we get to see some real fighting, but what about all the damage they sustained while they were playing possum? is that just gonna go away?
-
no that will fuel their anger and power =)
-
OK… so lemme get this straight. What was going on for the past few chapter was just filler so the characters can unleash their TRUE STRENGTH!1?
...what the fuck? That's almost as bad as the others swooping in the save the day. It's just.... retarded.
-
HAHA. Looks like all you peoples' predictions are gonna be wrong, for now, the restriction on the shinigami has been lifted. All hail Kubo Tite!
….
OK, OK, let me get this straight. The past 10 or so chapters have been filler as we wait for the Shinigami to unleash their TRUE POWERZ!!11?
Goddamn, that's about as bad as Urahara, Isshin, and Teddy Roosevelt and the Rough Riders coming in to save them.
-
Lol, and what else to lift their limit but with a tattoo. Get one and you boost your energy infinite times xD
-
no it's just a just 5x boost
boy there arancars 11 and up are really throwaways, but Ichigo still has GrimJow, pooo Ichigo :laugh:oh and most important : Renji actually wins a fight?
-
Man, that was really fucking lame. They struggle for 10+ chapters, getting thrown around like rag dolls, only to magically get 5 times stronger and have it all wrapped up in 2 seconds. Then again, at least we won't have to see them again.
Well, I'll give Kubo Tite credit for not re-using the Urahara and company as a deus ex machina, and thus forgoing lame training chapters. The lift the limit thing kinda surprised me too, as I was kind of resigned to the "well, they're gonan get saved.. again" mentality. But still, I was disappointed.
-
how should it have been resolved then? he didnt use the deus ex machina and his actual solution wasnt good enough, so what then?
-
The thing is, I'm not as mad about the conclusion as what was leading up to it. Because of this, the past… month or so has been filler.
Oh well, it's over now.
-
i was disappoitned only b/c everything ended in one chapter. -____-; . i STILL don't know what matsumoto's sword does besides turn to powder???
-
Yeah, I take some of what I said back. I was kind of bugged by the ending; I didn't like how it was concluded in only one chapter, it makes everything seem so anticlimatic.
But like I said, I'm just glad this bit's over.
-
not over yet. What about Grimjaw vs Ichigo?
-
yeah but we already kno what ichigo does. like his abilities. i am clueless on matsumoto. perfect opportunity to show off her sword abilities. but i guess kubo sensei is very antsy on showing ichigo's fight. = /
-
i like that in bleach that most thing end really fast although yes this could've been better and now Ikkaku seems kinda weak doesn't he?
-

Well, he didn't need a conveniently placed plot twist to bail him out.
-
and we didnt even know he could use bankai so i say that he is pretty damn strong considering what we knew about him
-
@gilrules2000:

I meant that the Epic Renji and Hitsugaya in the Prison Shower Saga was over.

You sir, win for the most ultimate use of titling in existence.
-
wow this chapter i think is the only chapter ive been disapointed with bleach, Hey guys lets get orders so we can lift our power but we dont use it in the soul soicety because its forbiden yet our world was indanger. morons.
if renji used that on ichigo he wouldve been dead in no time. grr
-
how about "lift the limit" being a fake? o_o
-

There is no limit in SS.
-
Lol. Who's the moron now.
-
shut up i thought there was oh yeah renji said something about that in 11 how his power was held back still not impressed with the ending of this
-
Hah. Well. It's fine, since I was a bit disappointed too, but I really saw no other way for them to win on their own. The enemy was hardly breaking a sweat while they were about to lose.
-
@Mog:

Agreed.
It was a pretty bad plot device, but I'm glad we got it out of the way too. They really shouldn't be limiting pansies like Matsumoto when they're letting Ikakku run around unrestrained with bankai. The only reasonable explanation is that lifting the limits was all a placebo, and Ikkaku was too badass to need one, and nobody wants to see that.
-
I haven't been reading the RAWs myself, but when I heard about the whole "no more limits" thing, that just sounded.. awful. As my friend was trying to support it, he was saying that they had to be using low power or whatever so they wouldn't get detected in the real world. Something like that.
.. Since when is fighting with Bankais "low power"? Just hearing about that.. man, I'm disappointed at how these little mini-battles ended.

well, you know, you are a lot complaining about these particular fights and how that's stupid how they suddenly get rid of their limitation… but bleach has always been like that! i'm dissapointed by every end of every fight. it's always so classic. "you're too strong for me so something awful will happen and i'll be able to kick your ass." honnestly, how couldn't you see that "no more limitation" happen? it was that or byakuya coming to help them. that makes his return for later...

The other possibility is the "Shounen Suicide", by which Kubo lets everyone die. :D

Ikkaku didn't have the limit thing because he was a 3rd seat. I'm pretty sure he wouldn't be thought "worthy" enough of this limit…
Still, it sucks seeing how he almost lost against that guy while people like Matsumoto plain out kicked ass. I hoped the one he was fighting was really a seriously strong Arrancar of the lower tier...
-
well he did try to have fun while fighting , i believe even the arrancar mentiones that and that can get you hurt most of the times and he was protecting Kiego but yes that limit thingie still makes him a bit weak. Oh well , he's still cooler than Renj i:proud:
-
Like I said, he's a million times cooler for earning his victory than waiting for a plot hole to bail him out. That was one fight I enjoyed to the end.
-
ok, what do you think of the upcoming filler arc after watching the previews of ep 63? i'm not a big fan of bleach so i'll say it will be ok. i mean, it could never be as boring as were the 10 first eps, which made me nearly stop watching it.
so all in all, the bad guys have a cool look, let's hope they're not too cliche and that they're somehow strong.
-
well if it's better than Naruto's it's ok with me
-
I just hope they're not those "I will take over the world HAHAHAHAHA" villians. Keroro already has that position
-
….after he finishes building a Gundam model.
-
I have a question. I don't know if you guys know the answer or not, but I think it's kind of interesting. I heard about the symbols of each of the Gotei 13. I found this picture in the other forum I'm in:
http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b310/hasane/800px-Gotei_insignia.png
does anyone know what is it and what does it symbolize, these symbols? I can read only that it has something to do with Gotei 13, but know nothing about it yet - -" .
-
I'm pretty sure the symbols are numbers. (1, 2, 3, etc.)
-
Represents the captains' favourite tattoo? Ala the show off during Lifting the Limit.
Ignore the above, needed to crap xD Most likely it represents each squads responsibility
EG: Look at four, most likely that flower is suppose to represent care and healing.
Up to everyone to decipher each squads' roles and how it leads to the symbols.
-
The kanji are the numbers 1-13. The symbols are the flower/plant symbols that each division has. They don't mean anything in particular (that I can tell) they're just symbols marking each different squad. Only Captains and vice-captains wear the numbers, all the grunts have their respective flower symbol somewhere on their robes.
Cause y'know, the whole samurai and flowers thing. (it's true, flower arranging was a common hobby among samurai)
-
Ep 64 was fairly decent.
Loved the new ending. -
yeah, ep 64 was pretty good, i really enjoyed it.
renji's style is cool, he reminded me of the almighty endo kenji.
-
yeah it was decent, i wonder how they're going to fit these fillers in story. i eamn in manga renji hasn't even met Urahara.
-
at which chapter did the ep 63 finish? it's finally time for me to read it.
-
start with chapter 182. It's where the ep 63 ends but with a more fun ending than in the anime =)
