Hunters are complaining that they have lost the ability to control their pet…that if for instance they want to target airborrn adds and leave the pet on the boss, they can't, the pet just runs around like a retard.
Can't they just put pet on passive and tell the pet to sic him manually? Which is how I did instances for most of the game.

We haven't tried the Firelands raid bosses yet, as half our members are missing (vacation, etc)
So we did Firelands trash runs to get some reputation, and bring less-geared members to BWD and BoT.
Wow, the nerf in T11 raids are crazy.
We brought 3 new people who's never done Nefarian, and managed to one-shot him. o_O

They'll never do that…they will only put vanity and convenience items up for sale, not anything that gives a player a competitive advantage.

Beth'tiloc is very buggy, no pun intended. We had 3 people consistently dc/crash every time they tried to jump down from the web.

Honestly gold farmers don't bug me. There' a peripheral annoyance that's easily spam-filtered out.
Farmers bug me since they are the root cause for hacking in WoW.
They have to get the gold somewhere.
It's not like hackers take your account and keep it… they just harvest it for gold.
I've never been hacked myself but that's the source of my disdain for them (spamming too).
Blizzard really should just include authenticators in the game box. They're cheap and easy to get and they give them away at Blizzcon, but why not take it a step further?
To be fair, they ARE free on iPod, iPhones and Android Phones.
It's just a matter of time before they come with all future box sets (hopefully a Vanilla/TBC/WotLk + Authenticator Boxset)
I have been hacked before.
All my epics were sharded and lost all gold.
Thankfully bliz were able to restore them before raid time.
That's when I started using the authenticator.
I got hacked on a weekly basis by spam guys for a while, according to my friends who said my character was logging on and spamming GET CHEAP GOLD GET CHEAP GOLD GET CHEAP GOLD. I had no idea what was going on, but I guarantee it was keylogspywaresomething that was just getting through my software. I was going to invest in an authenticator, but I stopped playing shortly afterwards.
I came back to my account at one point to find I had a free month and I was wondering if the hackers used some fake card to activate it, since it ended early, before the month.
Nothing bad ever happened to me, at least, other than my character probably looking really suspicious. It was just a long series of "suspended for three hours and your password has been changed"
Who knows, hackers are clever, they even use authenticators themselves to keep the real account owner from logging into their hacked account. So remember, kids, if hackers use authenticators, you should too. I even have a spare one. Not playing wow is always a good solution too.
So I got vote-kicked out of a dungeon for the first time ever. I kind of saw it coming though….I was healing a group of 4 guild members who were kind of crappy players that stood around in bad stuff on the ground and talked about how many joints they were smoking between pulls. We got to that Alpha Beam boss in Halls of Origination and the dk and tank kept standing and running through the black circles and dying. So after two wipes, of course they remove me...I like to think that they got a lower ilevel healer that just let them all die in 10 seconds. Sad thing is this is the second time in a row I got that instance with a bad group of guild members, only the last time they all just left and I got to continue the instance with decent players. I don't know what the deal is, I used to be thrilled when I got that instance, it was always fast and easy. I'm finding more dummies lately than I ever did when the heroics were new. I think all the people who know what they're doing are only running troll instances, maybe I should stay away from those regular ones now :P

Oh it's definitely worse now than early in Cata.
There are bunch of absolute terrible players who que for heroics because "they can" since gear is easily available now.
As a tank I can carry much of the fights, so having 1 or 2 baddies isn't disastrous.
I often bring my own healer friend, and most heroics bosses are 3 mannable (even ZA/ZG lol), so the chances are lessened.
I still try to avoid pure pugs though. It's frustrating how terrible they are, and often results in waste of time.
Ugh I can hear ya. I haven't really pugged since the dungeon finder went live. Too unreliable. My guild is the type where there is always a group going so it works out fine.
If I queue as healer I pug since I can sort of carry a bad tank (unless it's a DK stacking Parry and Stam =)
My dps or tank toons have to go with guildies or friends though, especially ZG… that place is PuG hell.
Yeah, ZG is definitely the worst one to pug. At least when people get in there they generally acknowledge it's difficult. You'd be surprised how bad dps can ruin an otherwise easy dungeon though. Like I mentioned with Halls of Origination. If people can't move out of AOE effects and stuff on the ground AND do terrible dps, it's near hopeless. Same with Blackrock Caverns. If people can't do the beams, just forget it. Or how about that boss in SFK that you have to either keep moving or stand still, and then the guy after that where you can't stand in the shadow bullets? Those are healer nightmares because you end up getting blamed for it by dumb players.
As for raiding, I'm a little frustrated with the Face Rage mechanic on Shannox. We killed him twice now but I feel like people are looking to the healers to save them but it's really all about the dps getting that big crit on the hound to break them out, if you don't get it there's no healing in the world that can save them. It's like the Frost Blasts on Kel'Thezad except you have to rely on a dps RNG to break them out.

I heard about the pvp item thing….out of a strike of laziness and good luck, I happened to spend my honor the day the item level went up. I can't believe they would do that though, it wouldn't surprise me if they did something to fix it, that was not right.
Yeah… my gear is all mismatched and the stats in the new gear is about a 100++ difference in stam/int/spir and secondary stats.

Well, I can't speak for beams in BRC or the two adds in the last boss of GB, but most fights I can afford to have one or two dead dps. lol.
Key is, if they refuse to walk out of fire, let them die. Don't waste your mana.

As a tank, I've three manned majority of heroics bosses in this game. 
And since I bring my own healer, I don't usually have people talking shit. If they do, I vote kick them.

We're kinda behind on FL raids, went ahead and downed Shannox last night.
It was a rough fight for sure.
Probably gonna farm the first two bosses or so until everyone's geared and ready.
It's kinda annoying we have to clear the massive amount of trash every time though.
This week we kind of sucked. We DID one shot Shannox, but then couldn't get Beth'tiloc down again, not sure why. We tryed Rhyolith and it felt like we did way better on him last week. We also completely failed on heroic Halfus when we've downed him several times.
Shannox and Beth'tiloc are now on farm on 10 and 25 man (go go guild growth!) and we've killed Rhyolith on 10 man mode, so he's a work in progress (tonite).

We downed Beth on Tuesday, and Shannox is on farm.
I think we can safely put Beth on farm as well, it's really not that hard a fight.
However, we continue to struggle at Lord Rhyolith. We always have trouble with this sort of gimmick mechanics.
We may put off Rhyolith for a while, and go after Alysrazor instead… the fight sounds pretty simple overall.
Once we have three bosses on farm, I think we can focus on gearing up to make the Rhyolith fight a little easier.
Oh, and got my fiery hippo today on two characters. Hunter and prot pally. Woot.
Now I can say to hell with these tedious dailies.
..... oh and Beth better drop those tanking maces for me next week!!
I thought these daillies were pretty good. Better then the tol bared ones at least.
Have you done the leyla questline? it's pretty sad and has a neat reward at the end. Almost feels bad for staghelm. Well if he wasn't such a jerk since vanillia.
They're good, but grinding dailies gets old after a while.
Long questlines are good, dailies are never ever good.
Unless you're a glutton for punishment… oh and I got the Shield off Beth!

And I just found out the lelya quest chain was triggered by the moonwell. I thought it came at the end of the all chains.

That's about 2-3 hours of my life gone every day.
Point I haven't brothered doing it on my shaman yet.

The bolded part, anytime the words "only" and then followed by a number over 10 minutes makes me wonder about time management and if I'm "doing it wrong."
See, I got: raiding, pvp, dungeons, and crafting to worry about. And this is on ONE toon. Out of potentially 3.
This is without considering: Netflix, PS3 games (they exist I swear) and then family, friends and most importantly… work, since that one directly PAYS for my addiction :V
So while a mere 45 mins may seem like nothing, to me it's an exercise in that old mentality of grinding, especially when a daily IS the same thing over and over day in and out (for a clear goal of course).
I don't mind extended questlines: the Thrall quest and the Leyara (sp?) event come to mind, I don't mind slodging thru those because there's a story being told and I'm not neccesarily coming back day in and day out like it's a job.
But for me (and keep in mind this is merely the opinion of an MMO player who's been around the block) dailies ARE a grind. And a time consuming one at that; I feel especially sorry for Aohige, 3 fucking hours of JUST dailies… I have even MORE respect for your already legendary patience good sir.

This is a quirky fight. We have two 10 mans in my guild, one team I went on with my rogue, helping steer the legs, and we beat him, and they now have him on farm.
My regular team, which I'm now healing on my shaman, still hasn't got him yet. Why not, is sort of puzzling. It seems like we are all doing everything we can possibly do correctly,
but for what ever reason, my guess is partly raid composition (we have no melee dps, and melee dps is best on the legs), we are not getting the legs steered efficiently enough. Every time we wipe when it
looks like it's going well, it's because everyone's got too many stacks of eruption and the stomp just murders everyone. Honestly I think he's pretty simple, other than that.
We may put off Rhyolith for a while, and go after Alysrazor instead… the fight sounds pretty simple overall.
Alysrazor, simple?? Have you tried her?? That's one one of the most complicated fights I've seen in a while. Maybe it gets easier later, but by the time those tornadoes came out I was like, eff this! Now Baelroc, that's simple. But you have to get one of those two others down before you can do him.
Very interesting. Other than the fact that this goes against what Blizzard has been telling us for years, I can see this being ok for a game that doesn't have an in-game economy, server community, or guild progression table, I just hope it's not a slippery-slope because something like that would ruin WoW. But at least it will make all the gold farmers who were preparing to cash in on D3 very sad.

Anyways, we lost the other tank to RL this week, and it was looking pretty grim.
But one of our trusty priest found one for us, and took him to FL tonight.
I'm the MT so I discussed strategies with him and it went pretty well!
Downed Shannox, Beth, and finally Rhyolith all in one run tonight, a very awesome run indeed.
We'll try to take down the bird tomorrow.
