I remember a while back people (including me) thinking they might be left in the past as Oga progresses, but fortunately this wasn't the case.

I think you should take the time line into consideration in regards to saotome. After all his kind were thought to have vanished a long while back which could mean he pre-dates the current monarchy, or just the current demon lord. Though I can't say how old everyone is due to the differences between hell and earth, as well as average lifespans.

All in all I'd say its too early to speculate about unknown characters given that Tamura likes to twist things up and do the unpredictable at every given moment.

Oh btw the next episode is scheduled for fri/sat coming up.

I don't mind speculation, but at this point their isn't even a hint of foreshadowing to provide us a direction to be heading in regarding Saotome (other than the royal seal). Some factors about his powers and past are up for grabs, but his former host/contractor is just too hazy at this point, other than saying its a relative or descendant of beel/fam.

But if you want to speculate then go ahead. Just saying it'll be mostly made up of wild ideas trying to cover all possibilities which in itself is rather pointless. Though don't get me wrong I do want this being kept active, just not pages of possible links we already know about.

Episode was kinda meh…. as usual filler lives upto it's name and makes the characters look bad.

For those thinking it's completely filler it isn't, there was a special chapter or something that was like this episode but they extended alot.

The second part of the filler was meh… Aoi reminds me of Hancock, lol.

I think Babu and Kouta getting along was cute, but that cat was getting on my nerves each time it talked :V

Anybody notice the beginning of the intro was slightly altered? The part where there was an erupting volcano was taken out and replaced by clips of Beel from previous episodes. Probably got something to do with the recent volcano eruption in Japan.

So perhaps the tattoos show how strong the contractor is, while the shining symbol shows how strong the particular attack is? In other words, I don't think you can really compare which one is greater since they are indicators of different things.

I find it to be considerably better than Witch Hunter and Noblesse, though I've never read Gamaran so I couldn't say. Definitely worth a shot, imho. Might be my favorite manga next to OP. Might be better. Don't tell the OP fans that.

Truth! It and one piece are the only ones that I want to see every week no matter what! sometimes I even get bored of toriko, but it and one piece are truly jewls, theres other mangas I like but are on hiatuses all the time

The chapter is cool. Lots of new faces. Has some revelations too. And damn that Folcas! Looking at those scars, I think he can fight too (not just heal or cure the ill). I wonder if he's a general or higher, maybe second-in-command to Behemoth. And this…

I'm glad the video game thing ended that way. It was starting to bug me a little, but it was funny. Now to wait for the next chapter and see how Oga and Beel are doing.

Anyone else totally surprised at the new opening and ending in the anime? I like the new ending more, but I miss the old opening. I have to admit Kunieda looked a bit creepy in some shots.

One thing is weird, though: Forcas is blue in the ending… :wassat:

Episode 11 was sort of worse than 10, but I did like some parts like Furuichi's fantasy. And Furuichi and Alain Delon together are always great. I noticed the anime is really gaying them (Or well Alain) up. The scene with Himekawa in the costume made me laugh, too. And I like that they made an episode focused on Himekawa.. I sound pretty positive about it, but I do think it was pretty mediocre.

I wonder when they're showing the real episodes 10 and 11. I'm not sure if next week is normal filler or them making this the beginning of Beel's King Fever.
