One Piece: Unlimited Cruise - Episode: 1 & 2 (PAL Releases Announced)
-
-
ok np
hope fenberry can help me
-
^
The vaccum is in one of the treasure boxes mette, no.8 I think.
As for the boss on Island 2 smash through the purple boulders near the start(across from the beach) and try to find the water hole to use the submarine. -
ok thanks , so to find some more treasures huh? number 8?
thanks maki , and also thanks for helping with the boss
-
i'm sry i do not know that yet. i'm still in uc1 mastering all moves to lvl 10 before i move on to uc2. i'm almost there!
The game says I have to clear the game to transfer data. Not sure if that means just clear it once or not. Do you know if I start hard mode, will I have to CLEAR hard mode to transfer?
Do you know if I get anything special for fighting the optional bosses again as well? If not, I probably won't bother fighting them.
-
i'm not sure myself but i think you have to beat the final boss and after that it saves and that save is the ones that gets transfered. so yes i do think you need to beat the game again. i'm not sure myself. haven't transferred yet. i plan to transfer it when all of my chars are lvl'd up and beat the final boss on very hard mode. or it could be that the safe will just transfer without beating it again
you don't really get anything from the optionall bosses except extra completion percentage and a treasure. i do know that some bosses only get unlocked on by beaten them on hard mode. i only know that kuma and the final boss must be beaten to unlock them.
-
Thanks, fenberry would probably be able to confirm that. The only thing I really would like to do is upgrade the Straw Hats, unlock all the characters and unlock all the doors on Sunny that I can. Kuma and the Final Boss are the only ones I have to beat, since I unlocked Arlong and Calgara through Boss Rush. The bosses were very easy though, aside from maybe Moria. He should be a piece of cake with high enough health. When you started hard mode, did you keep the health and stamina from Normal Mode? I'm thinking you do, and if so, I'm getting everyone to 1000 Health before going to Hard Mode.
-
Yo don't have to rebeat it, if I remember correctly.
-
@metteminne:
ok thanks , so to find some more treasures huh? number 8?
thanks maki , and also thanks for helping with the bossYup - UC Ep2 bosses on Island 2 and island 4 need the Vacuum upgrade - which you get by digging up treasure 8.
Treasure 8 is found on island 4, map pieces dropped by PX1's after the Doflamingo fight area. The actual site is after the bouncing mushroom just before the area where you see the Kizaru plant ontop of the whole island. Dig basically against the wall in front of you where you land after bouncing up. I did have a video about it - I'll see if I can either remake it, or reupload it.
@Maikeru:The game says I have to clear the game to transfer data. Not sure if that means just clear it once or not. Do you know if I start hard mode, will I have to CLEAR hard mode to transfer?
Do you know if I get anything special for fighting the optional bosses again as well? If not, I probably won't bother fighting them. No, you don't need to finish anything in Ep1 before transferring over to Ep2. You could in theory play Ep1 for a few minutes, get all the crew together, and then transfer, but you wouldn't be gaining much. The main benefit of transferring over is if you've cleared Ep1 Normal Mode, you can start Ep2 in hard mode straight off the bat. All your moves/specials/hp,sp/characters/sections of sunny etc will be unlocked.
You CAN unlock everything from Ep1 purely in Ep2, but takes considerably longer, since you have to level 2 sets of moves at the same time, instead of just focusing on unlocking the Ep2 set (if that makes sense). To start in Hard mode in Ep2, you have to either
–Clear normal mode on Ep1, start hard mode and then transfer data
OR
--Just play through Ep2 and unlock hard mode after actually completing Normal mode. The optional bosses in Ep1 are fun, and the only reason to fight them is because it's fun. You unlock most bosses for vs mode in Ep1 Easy mode, but some (like the final boss, and Kuma for eg.) you need to fight in hard mode.
You absolutely can unlock all optional bosses from Ep1 by playing Boss Rush mode in Ep2…this takes 3 plays through the game though
@Maikeru:

Well, to get done what you want to do, you'd need to play Easy mode and then at least some of hard mode.
Limits/caps in Unlimited cruise
Ep1
Easy Mode - Move have a cap of lvl 5 - Limits for HP/SP 1000/1000
Hard Mode - Move have a cap of lvl 10 - Limits for HP/SP 1000/1000
Very Hard mode - Move have a cap of lvl 10 - Limits for HP/SP 1000/1000Ep2
Normal Mode - Move have a cap of lvl 10 - Limits for HP/SP 1000/1000
Hard Mode - Move have a cap of lvl 20 - Limits for HP/SP 2000/1000
Unlimited mode - Move have a cap of lvl 30 - Limits for HP/SP 3000/1000You keep everything you've unlocked when you transfer over. Moves, specials, Hp/sp, character costumes, sections of Sunny, fish/bugs/animals collected, anything in the aquarium.
The game was designed to be played with both games together, since it's just 1 big game split into two pieces. Many people get stuck on island 4 just before fighting Doflamingo if they've only played Ep2, since your rod is not upgraded enough by that stage to easily catch the Sky Balloon Fish you need in order to progress. It's possible, just more difficult.
In saying that, you can unlock all moves, specials, characters, rooms in sunny etc purely by playing Ep2, however it takes at least 3 plays through (since you have to do Boss Rush mode in Unlimited Difficulty in Ep2). You do though miss out on some of the sweet boss fights and locals in Ep1. I personally enjoyed the islands of Ep1 a little more than Ep2, though the maze of Cave isle was about as annoying as the maze of inlets on Boggy Isle…
-
Alrighty, well thanks for that. I have basically sped through islands 1 and 2, just beating bosses in an hour on Hard Mode. It's been pretty easy, haven't even used Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, Usopp or Chopper yet. On the bright side, I now have all the character I absolutely wanted to unlock. I would like to get more stamina and upgrade my moves before playing episode 2 though. Do you have a recommendation on a good meal for boosting stamina in episode 1? It's basically the only reason I lost Boss Rush after my first play through. I might replay the optional bosses if I get the urge to, but I mostly just want to upgrade characters. Are those caps accurate by the way? I saw a video walkthrough on youtube, and the stamina looked about 3000 on there too. Maybe it just looks big though.
Are there any challenging bosses in Episode 2? I've watched videos, Garp and Whitebeard are the only ones that seem threating. Doflamingo looks superbly easy to beat.
-
In UC1 the max health and stamina is 1000 in UC2 it's 3000.
the best meal is the super sea king dish
u need 1 mammoth 1 frozen meal and 1 super seaking. that's the best meal in UC1 and it was a pain to farm.
tips for cathing the super seaking are fish just below 70 meters and most of the time you'll get the super seaking. it really sped things up cuz i was soo tired of cathing the seaking turtle
-
I figured it was that one. I was hoping for one that would bump up stamina 150 points each time, but meh. It's much easier than going to try and do the turtle meal though. Catching an Elephant Tuna is a pain in the ass because the damn things never bite. I imagine it probably is a pain in the ass to spam Super Sea King meals. Getting the meat and toad is easy, but only having one in one place in the whole game is such a pain.
-
i found that going to the top of island 3 with more objectives than get mammoth and meat. i ussually went there to get the map pieces from those little thunder skypians. find as many GOLD eggs or apples.
i always shoot myself up the area where you find monster chopper, turn back go to the area where the mammoth is. get the GOLD apples, the meat and return to the place you flew in and search for more GOLD
lvl up some moves while you're at it. and it will go relatively quickly
-
I'll probably give that a try. Though I might spam Nami's whirlwind, and upgrade moves elsewhere. I've already got Brook's A, AA and AAA up to level 8. Nami's moves are pretty easy to upgrade. Sanji's are extremely easy to upgrade. I'll probably do those three first.
-

Try and upgrade your characters in Ep1 first as best as you want, however be aware that Ep2 upgrades for HP/SP are more effective. Ep2 also reset's the diminishing returns for food every difficulty change or reset of your game - so it's possible to either go hard on the sea king dishes at the end of Normal or Hard modes in Ep2, or make simple health and sp dishes in the first island or so until it's not effective for anyone and then reset the difficulty again and again until you hit the caps as I stated above. Those are the caps - but the health bar isn't completely in proportion in Ep1 I think.
And about hard bosses in Ep2, Doflamingo can get really irritating, but he's a very fun boss. You have to try and kill him without hurting the person he summons, unless you want it to come down to a 1 vs 1 with his Bellamy Spring Hopper spam.
Oars is a great fight, though his patterns are easy to predict - he can just about 1 hit ko on unlimited, making him tough to deal with along the infinite spawns of zomibes.
Kizaru is a menace… just be aware he will likely destroy you the first around unless your prepared - he just doesn't have many frames of animation where you can hit him.
And Garp and Whitebeard on Unlimited mode... holy smeg.
And then you've got Boss Rush mode, which is fun and very challenging unless you bring tons of healing.
So yes, the game is by no means easy. Even Shanks and Mihawk can give you a solid run for your money.
One more thing, be aware you can turn into Nightmare Luffy and Monster Chopper during boss fights in Ep2, and by Unlimited mode you'll have 6 team specials to use (as long as you do boss rush asap).
-
Finnaly 100% completed UC1 and i moved on to UC2 and it seems my seaking rod transformed back into a whopper rod, FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF
but i'm loving UC2 more. i actaully found a transpondersnail while i was searching for stuff on the ship
already got zoro's 1st few moves to 13 hoping that will go smoothly too.
-
Sounds pretty cool. I already have beaten Kidd, Crocodile, Smoker, Shanks, Mihawk, Lucci and Kaku though. I solo'd Kidd, Smoker, Lucci and Kaku with Brook, and lost one person against Croco-boy, Mihawk and Shanks. So far, Normal Mode is VERY easy. I haven't even used Gear Second, Rumble Ball or Diable Jambe yet. Out of curiosity, how do you use Nightmare and Monster Chopper? Actually, my current idea on how to beat Doflamingo, is to spam Rumble Balls. I'm guessing it'll be a bit more challenging in Hard Mode.

Seaking rod does transform inexplicably back to the whopper rod, however it's still more than enough to get you through all the Ep2 islands - it's why the dev's of the game intended you to play ep1, then transfer over to ep2, since island 4's fishing requires I think about 30m or so.
Yup - you'll need that den den mushi to access island 2's first boss -

Nightmare Luffy you need 100 shadows in your inventory and have him the final character left.
Monster Chopper as below

Interesting, I guess I could try that out if ever get in that situation. Though if it's anything like UA, it's easier to be little Chopper than Rampaging Chopper. Do I need to enhance my net to catch ghosties?

Indeed! You need to get the upgraded bug catcher in Ep2 to catch the ghosts on Isle 3, and the electric spiders on Isle 4
-
Awesome, yeah that last island was pretty fun. But trying to get map fragments from the PX-1 was grrrr! I got them though, and wound out beating Normal Mode today. I beat, Oars, Doflamingo, Kizaru, Vivi, Lucci, Pauly, Whitebeard, Garp and the Demon thing at the end. Beat them all on my first try too. I dueted Oars with Nami and Franky, solo'd Doflamingo with Chopper (killing Sanji and Luffy in the process), solo'd Lucci and Pauly with Brook. Vivi was pretty tough, or should I say, the BW agents with her were pretty tough. I had to use Nami, Robin and Brook to beat her. Whitebeard was hella tough, but I still had Luffy and Chopper left when I beat him. Same for Kizaru. I had Sanji, Luffy and Chopper still alive after the battle with the Demon dude. Garp was a total bitch though. He took out everyone, but I had a revival elixir, which I used on Chopper, and finished him off with a Rumble. I then realized I had 3 mix candies, which I never used. I think I should have no problem beating him again on Unlimited when I get there. Definitely going to upgrade the Straw Hats up to the max health before I do though, and am going to take tons of mix candies and dual-action tonics.
-
Am I the only one who intentionally lets characters die, solely because it's more dramatic, funner, and saves items in the process?
-
Am I the only one who intentionally lets characters die, solely because it's more dramatic, funner, and saves items in the process?
No no, I've done the same as well. Especially when running low on supplies in the early stages of Unlimited mode, everyone was basically half dead before returning to sunny.
Also intentionally destroying most of my crew's health bars to beat smoker with Monster Chopper and Sogeking at low health, and to beat up Doflamingo with Nightmare Luffy…
-
Oh god. my shark ate all my fish. really nice throwback to the manga/anime.
I still haven't found my vacuum and i'm on the 2nd island. pretty weird considering i looked all around the ship for it. so i hope it isn't a glitch and it will appear later on in the story.
on with uc2!
-
I've done the same Fenberry, but i didn't know you could go Nightmare Luffy in a boss battle. I had everything maxed out when i wen through unlimited mode so it was a breeze up until Whitebeard. With him i spammed Usopp's lead star with a flame dial and Zoro's Three Thousand Worlds. When I got to Garp I went Monster Chopper but he was knocked out pretty quickly. Took me a good twenty minutes of Usopp to beat him.

on with uc2!Have a check up on the top of sunny around the Mikan garden - either that or it's somewhere in the kitchen - search around the sunny and you'll find it eventually. I think after you beat Croc and start on island 2 go back to sunny and it should be there.

Yup - Luffy needs to be the final character alive, everyone else dead. You need to have 100 shadows in your inventory - he's go enough sp to give you 2 storms, however his health gradually decreases, so it may or may not be useful. I've found Monster Chopper's Special absolutely killer for large enemies like the final boss, Garp/Whitebeard etc.
Also for Garp, he falls asleep easily, so if you need to heal or something, bring some sleep balls - better yet, set up a cloud above his head while sleeping with nami and let loose the Thunder Bolts… mighty big chunks of hp come off.Either that or Usopp at low health - change to sogeking, and his Atlas Comet Ep2 AAA attacks are brutal.
-
no idea what happened yesterday , but i managed to get 2 rainbow butterflies while never having left the island after catching the first one..
usually i get about 1 of those every 2 months if i am lucky…
now i got 2 of em within 3 hours
for some reason i could walk upto them with nami :wub:i also got luffy/zoro/nami/sanji all maxed out.
-

It should be in Nami and Robin's room.

Just used Nightmare Luffy on Whitebeard with Chopper still alive. I'll have to see if Nightmare Luffy can be used with any more alive.

Alrighty~
My Easycap has died, and as such I can't record anything for the time being.

I've been playing OP UC1 (thank god I've been able to buy them (UC 1 & 2) from an online store in Germany after been looking for them for a few time) and I was wondering if someone knows what are the conditions for getting 100% completion for the first game as I wouldn't like to fail like bypassing some kind of specific objective.
So far I have:
- Beaten every boss (including optional) in Normal and Hard mode (I will have to do in Very Hard mode too)
- Have all treasure maps
- Explored the entire maps
- Beaten Boss Rush in Normal Mode (is Hard mode necessary for 100%?)
- All the recipes done
- All my characters have all attacks at lvl 10 except Franky and Brook
- All characters in VS mode unlocked
- Completed Survival Mode with every character (Does this even count for 100%? Well, the character pic gets a star after you complete it)
- Every char has 1000 HP but only around 500 SP (is 1000 SP for all characters needed for 100%? I've read that the cap is the same for UC2 so I'd prefer to complete this in the second game)
And all this brings me to 84%. Can anyone give me some info on these matters?
-
It's been like 2 months ago before i 100%'d UC1. I think you had to cook every meal at least twice. and most of your percentages now will come from the bosses in very hard mode. and the move levels need to be all at 10. and you need to beat boss rush in hard mode.
it's been like 2 monthys my memory is a bit hazy
good luck!
also signed the pettition but i know it's useless :/

Hey there!
Your almost right, just a few missing things.
HP and SP cap in Ep1 is 1000/1000
In Ep2 it's broken down into
Normal Mode 1000/1000 lvl cap of 10 for moves
Hard Mode 2000/1000 lvl cap of 20 for moves
Unlimited Mode 3000/1000 lvl cap of 30 for movesYou'd need to reach 1000/1000 for each character in Ep1
You need to read all monuments
Have explored every place fully
Caught all fish, bugs and animals
Cooked every dish at least twice
Beaten every boss on Normal, Hard and Very Hard
Beaten Boss Rush on Normal and Hard
Collected all map pieces and every treasure
Survival with all characters isn't needed I don't think, but it's fun
Upgraded everything and made every item possibleI can' think of anything else - having things in the aquarium isn't needed either, but again a nice touch.
-
just for the record, i have never finished part 1 before moving to part 2 and leveled everything up in part 2, so what would happen if i were to play part 1 again?

AN-NOY-ING!I know! I'm in the very same situation. And I'm not even close to beating it. I totally fail as soon as two bosses start coming at me at once.

Does anyone know where you can still order these in the UK? I've been everywhere, Game, Gamestation, HMV, they all say they don't have either 1 or 2, all I can find online is French and German Boxes, but not the English one.
-
Where do I find mr. 2? I still need him, Garp, Whitebeard and two of the end bosses in VS mode.

Where do I find mr. 2? I still need him, Garp, Whitebeard and two of the end bosses in VS mode.
Hey!
You find Mr 2. in Unlimited Mode. Have you finished the game in Easy Mode?
To get Mr 2 and Garp, you will need finish the story mode on Easy mode, then finish the game on hard mode - For Mr 2, he appears in Boss Rush mode - you need to break rush at least one of the mini bosses who turn up on each island so that they drop a piece of Map 10 - then once you've got it, dig in the spot where the monument is on island 1 (check out my boss rush videos on the previous page to see where). Garp you need to beat on Unlimited Mode - he's the final optional boss fight on island 4 - you'll need Map 8 to find the Vacuum upgrade to be able to fight Garp and Whitebeard. Beat Garp on unlimited mode to claim him in vs mode
The Unlimited Adventure final bosses you get to fight during Boss rush mode as well
The Unlimited Cruise final bosses you'd get by fighting them in Hard mode
And Whitebeard you get by fighting him as an optional boss in story mode, but you get him for vs mode by beating him in Hard mode.
-
Okay the game is not THAT much fun. Don't think I'll play it three times just to get the last characters. Thanks though Fenberry.
-
Anyone know how/where I can get a copy of both games (European release) at a decent price?? The places I've looked had them for over $100…each O_O;
If its cheaper in stores can someone get them and ship it to me? I'd be willing to pay for it as well as the shipping and even an additional $20 :I
If anyone's willing to sell I'd be willing to purchase as well. Just as long as the disc isn't shot to hell :> -
Next time I'm at the store I can check how much I can find the double-pack for.
-
Next time I'm at the store I can check how much I can find the double-pack for.
Does that version also includes english subtitles?
-
Yeah, the Pal version is the same everywhere as far as I know, so it has all the languages needed, which includes English.

I'm looking to import these games to play them (I've been putting it off for years on the off-chance some company brings them over to the states) on ma Wii. I found some sites that I can buy the first one for about 100$ and the second one I already ordered, I got it at a reasonable price.
What I'm getting at is if you could point me in the right direction if you know I site that can sell me the first one for under 100$. If not I can still buy the more expensive version. But I would appreciate it if someone could link me to a site with a cheaper price if you happen to know of one. Thanks in advance.
