Well, on the PSP game that had al of the PS1 games on a single UMD, they actually CUT OUT features when they added in new features.
Is there a possibility of that happening here? I actually think it's very likely considering the file size limit.

we havn't heard anything about them cutting features but i don't know what they'd cut. Maybe some compounding or cooking side quests cause some were just pointless

I think I'd be cool if you could play through the game (2nd time) with your own pick of characters.

If its possible (most likely impossible to happen anyways) they should have a special 1 VS 3 Boss match where you would fight all three Admirals if they also decided to add Akainu.

I'm still fairly sure this will reach Europe. If it did well enough to get a re-release in germany.

If they did release it then it shouldn't take too long since it's already been subbed before.
Americaland on the other hand is different since Funi own the rights and would want it dubbed.

it all kinda revolves around funi i noticed. If it goes to America it gets dubbed but then doesn't go to the pal regions. In turn if it's subbed and sent to the pal regions then it doesn't seem to go to america :/
i really think funi should release their dubs overseas. they're missing out on a valuable market

Don't the PAL Regions get the DBZ games with Funimation's voice actors? Hell, they dubbed a Detective Conan Wii game that never had a chance of being released in the US.

NB was asked why they didn't give players the option to listen to the Japanese audio track for OP: UA. They said it was a "family game" which I guess was a nicer way of saying that they weren't going to cater to the fanboys who care about that sort of thing.

Maybe, but it should also be considered that FUNimation didn't dub it because it wasn't a US-release (even though they have dubbed PAL releases in the past).

I wonder if the unlockable costumes will still be the Thriller Bark clothes. I'd love timeskip costumes, but that wouldn't really work with Franky.

Interesting that they'll include an Ice stage, very likely the Marineford bay iced over, and those two huge swords? Squardo's? Giant Squad's? Random giant sword?

She wears it, during the Marineford acr, which it seems there is a high change that there's a chunk of new content about (see Marineford-related ice battle area)
Hopefully we'll see Akainu - and the main thing I'm concerned about it…how am I going to be able to record from a 3DS to put videos on youtube?
EDIT: Hmmm - seems there isn't an easy way to put DS stuff onto youtube - unless you use an emulator, which I would also think would destroy the use of the touch screen - or is it somehow used with the mouse instead?

I think they said there would be some way to record 3D Movies. So I'd imagine they'll do something with regular. Whether or not they'll do it with games or not tho is another question.
And yeah. The game needs Akainu. Magellan, Jinbe and Hina would be nice inclusions too. Then we can forget that Gigant and it's roster ever happened.
I'm willing to bet instead we'll have SW Luffy, SW Shanks and SW Ace tho >.<

but yeah i agree that they should have akainu, magellan and jinbei. Not so much hina cause there's others i'd rather have (tashigi or even a coby/helmeppo double team :D)

eh. I chose Hina since she already has a moveset from previous games/card game. Foxy has one too so he could be. Although Hina I stated since there needs to be more playable females (with Hancock we are onto what? 4?) and she's got an interesting moveset (unlike Tashigi)
Sengoku would be a nice one to have. Mr. 3 too (and thus would complete all the major 'villains' on each arc. I don't doubt we'll probably see the likes of Law and Marco too. They made up movesets for Shanks, Doflamingo and Kid. Perhaps we could see Rayleigh?

i see what you mean. I was just basing it on how frequent and important they are to the series but then again kid was playable…
Mr. 3 would be good but for some reason i don't see it. Same for sengoku although garp was playable. Oddly enough i see marco being playable despite not being that major. Law would be good to but not foxy. I dunno why. just don't like him much

If they were going to add more characters then as others said, they have plenty more to work with. They've added characters that have made as little as two moves in the manga. They added Hancock and Ivankov. I would think that at the very least, Jinbei, Marco and Akainu have a pretty good chance. They could also add Jozu and Sengoku. Magellan may be added but these are the main ones I see.
Once again though, it would really, really serve the game well if they had added more moves to the characters (and update them, as in Whitebeard's case).

Although they managed to completely make up ones for Shanks, Kid, Doflamingo etc. So no reason to not put her in.

True, and I know the Shanks at least has been awesome. Haven't played the newer ones to see Kidd and Doflamingo.
It might not be an exact Perona replica, because her abilities can be a bit hax. However, I think it might be easier to include her in the New World. I think the increase of Haki users could affect her ghost's effectiveness.

As far as I know, the games are not allowed to move ahead of the anime.
But it would be nice to see some more additional costumes for the characters from earlier arcs such as Alabasta or Skypiea or something. I realise this means some characters will have more costumes than others(since say, brook was'nt in skypiea),maybe that is why they are hestitant to do it. But it would something simple that I would enjoy anyway. -

I think the UC games are even taken from the manga more than the anime. (Note how Robin has the correct eye colour as opposed to the anime and the Spaceys appeared whom didn't in the anime.)
Very much doubt we'll see the TS crew tho. They would have to create whole new models for both Franky and Chopper instead of just changing the clothes.

I think that adding onto Usopp and Franky's Development, Chopper's Doctoring and Sanji's Cooking, that it would be cool to give Brook a Music Making area. I don't know if that was done in episode 1 or 2.

no there wasn't. I would like perona to be in it actually but i doubt they'd add so many new characters.
I don't really want them to add to the cooking/compounding/crafting part. i think it's already to much and spending hours fishing for a sea king was very annoying -
for what i could understand from a poor google translation, nightmare luffy's voice has been re-worked.
too bad, his super-high pitched voice cracked me up.
