Which is exactly why Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike is better than Super Street Fighter IV.
Most Anticipated Games for 2011

So SFIII is better because more people like IV?
Congratulations, you make no sense.
-
Monster Tale.
Mostly because it a Metroidvania game on the DS.

Son… you said...
(who in turn have actually turned into decent players).
after I said, it's better "gameplay wise."
Which mean, SFIII is more technical and advanced, while SFIV got "lame niggas" into "decent players" because of its simple, yet still fun (it's based on SFII) gameplay. Which means, it's better.
Don't try to use the "revival of the fighting genre" as a reason why SFIV is better than SFIII brah.
-

.Which is why SFIV and II are better than III.
-
You're such a sexy noob Tonfa.
-
20 years ago you'd be hanging upside down with a Sonic Boom up your ass.
-
20 years later you'll be hanging upside down with a Kikoken up your ass.
-
I'll back knuckle you so hard you'll want to play Monopoly for the rest of your life.
-
I'll lightning kick you so hard you'll want to suck a black dick covered in coke in order to play SFIII.
-
Too bad EX Flash Kicks have priority you silly negro
-
Too bad Chunny didn't get nerfed in her asshole and felt the juice of suckage dripping out like Guile you silly cracker.
-
SF3, more "technical and advanced"?! Ell oh ell.
You're so cute when you're fanboying, Sarus.
-
Shut up crybaby, before you use your boss characters on me and complain about cheapness.
-
…. haha, you guys are crazy.
09/10 were dominated by the serious fighters, so I'm really looking forward to tag matches with nice players in Tag 2 and MvC3. And new KoF hopefully.
-
I use boss characters because I don't need to use my mains.
:D
-
You use boss characters because fags do it and you like it and want to be hip.
-
The new King of Fighters is what I'm most excited about, for fighting games. I don't really know what to expect of it, though. King is on Mai's team again so I'm not gonna play with her much, probably. I don't like Mai, really…
But I like a good portion of the cast, so I'm probably set well.
-
I'm mad hype for King of Fighters XIII.
I might use the Women's Team… then... I might ditch Mai... for Elisabeth.
Sigh... so pathetic...
-
I'm staying optimistic about it. I'd like to think they learned from 12.
You use boss characters because fags do it and you like it and want to be hip.
But if they're fags, how am I being hip?
:wassat:
-
I kinda hate that Mai looks and acts like nothing more than a pair of flopping titties but I even like her gameplay wise.
-
I never played XII. What were its issues? I only knew it looked gorgeous, but I heard bad things. Like… really bad things.
-
Among other things? Game-breaking glitches.
-
Shitty online, little moveset, lack of K' and Mai, lack of story, nothing but trials…
It just sucked.
King of Fighters XIII is the cure.
The perfect cure for SNK.
-
Oh jesus… For a franchise I really love, that sounds dangerously bad.
Is KoFXIII like actually a good improvement, holds up well as a main entry to the series, or is it just better compared to XII?
(Also bring back Hinako she was my girl)
-
YES.
Have you played XII and looked at XIII videos Holypuffy?!
-
Yeah, XII was a total mess.
On the plus side, XIII is in Japanese arcades right now, and the word is that SNK learned GREATLY from their mistakes.
-
I have the demo, but I never actually touched XII. As a big fan growing up, that was tough.
-
XII was a total mess. Felt very incomple and rushed IMO. Now all I need is the new Soul Caliber and I am a happy duck.
-
YES.

I already said that I skipped XII.
But yeah, I'm checking up on XIII now and it's enough to put me in a major mood. Hnngh…
Glad to hear that it's supposed to be rad.
-
Tempted to get XIII, though I've never played a single King of Fighters game in my life.
I'd simply get it due to my new born respect for fighting games in general. I might wait to see if there ARE a vast amount of glitches to it.
By the way, has any form of Darkstalkers been released on the PSN?
-

As long as you stay away from Maximum Impact 1 and 2 (that latter which sometimes goes by '2006') they're pretty enjoyable.

Not to my knowledge, unless you count that PSP game Chaos Tower or whatever its called (which I've heard isn't all that great).
-
Yeah, KoF as a series holds up really well, most of it is just classic and ageless in a way. Check out the Orochi Saga collection and play around with it sometime and see the series from its roots.
My favorite, personally, is 2002, which you can find in a PS2 bundle with 2003.
-
2002 is great.
If you have an XBOX the have a really good version of 2002 Ultimate Match on the XBL Marketplace.
-
I remember I played 2002 and 2003 chronologically. I put a lot of time into 2002 before I decided I was ready to check out 2003 without "blending them in my head". I was under the impression that 2003 was like an "upgrade" as earlier KoF games attempted to be to their predecessors.
Silly me. 2003 was pretty wacky. I'm not a fan of swapping-out-character mechanics.
But yeah, basically, 2002 is awesome stuff. Hnnnghhhako.
-
King of Fighters '98, 2002, and XIII are good shit.
Insider, I'm sure you have a PSP, because I recall you being a Final Fantasy or Persona fan and I know they have PSP games somewhere, so get Darkstalkers: The Chaos Tower and learn a thing or two about that beautiful series.
-
Oh this isn't the KoF thread is it.
One of the titles I'm most looking forward to on the downloadable front is Stacking by a long shot. After watching this one lengthy demo video, I was really sold on it and it just looks like a creative and engrossing game.

This post is deleted!
-
Well this isn't a 2011 game but I just bought Chrono Trigger today and I'm looking forward to spending "time" on it this year.
-
Guys, yeah. This isn't the fighting game discussion. You guys really derailed this thread. XD
-
I'm looking forward to
Batman: Arkham City
and hopes for the next Professor Layton game to come to the U.S. (mmm them puzzles!).

I have watched the playthrough of Arkham asylum. It was indeed amazing. The voice acting was amazing and nostalgic. Joker was creepy as always (yeah Mark Hamill). Of course, paul Dini wrote the story. Batman remembering the death of his parents was creepy and intense. The atmosphere of the game is outstanding.
The new one seems promising.

Isn't Layton like the biggest selling DS game in the UK? I'd be VERY surprised if it doesn't come out. (Although they could do what they did with the film and do it in the UK and not US I suppose. Easy to import tho.)
