@RuNa:
Are you serious? WTF do they keep doing that for?!
So all 5 of their Batman books? I thought they were pretty good too but I have a love/hate relationship with Sale's art (hate most of his art usually but sometimes he produces a piece that looks so magnificent I wonder how he can produce crap as well). Loeb I pretty much hate anywhere else and I felt that there were some things he should have left out of TLH and DV, mainly every villain but the realistic ones like Two-face, falcones, and Calendarman as well as the Catwoman possibly being related to the Falcones which got brought up recently by Tony Daniel (who gave Catwoman a sidekick >_>).
Ya a lot of my friends didn't like Sale's art, especially when you've previously read some Batman comics with the art of Jim Lee.
And I can see what you mean with Loeb adding unnecessary villains, like Solomon Grundy, Poison Ivy, etc. But they did add a level of obstacles in Batman's way, and they did give me a feel for a Batman Universe.
The biggest complaint from one of my friends about Dark Victory was
! That it seemed Two-Face would never die. I didn't mind though. I'm all for Two-Face!
@GuetaMinute:
Combat.. repetitive? In AA?
..Well, yeah, true, but it was still tons of fun. I didn't even fully read the article I posted, lol.
But counterattacking two people at once = GOTY 2011.
Ok, exaggerating obviously, but it's shaping up to be a hell of a sequel.
It would be awesome if this got Game of the Year for 2011. The Batman games have been average at best in the past (not counting Arkham Asylum), so it would be sweet justice to see this turn out fantastic.
