 The list of the characters was spotted via the flash source code of  the official game website, and has since been deleted, which adds more  fuel to the burning fire. According to that list, this is the final  roster of MVC3:

I'm not buying that spanish list either. No way is it the final roster. Mr. Fantastic would be the worst choice from the Fantastic Four. The Thing or the Human Torch would be way better. And no Guile or Gambit!?! WTF?! Gambit was the 2nd X-men that was in the most games. He got into MVC1 before Cyclops (Cyclops was an assist). And where's Ken?! If he gets left out I'm going to be really disappointed, because I want to Flaming Shoryuken Magneto's ass. I also believe X-23 is wasting a spot for a potentially better character. I'd rather see Ghost Rider or Moon Knight. Hell, even Blade, but not X-23.

The list given has a total of 36 characters (38 counting War Machine and Frank's alt).

It's already been confirmed that the MvC3 guys will have more than 30 characters.

I don't know what to think. I have high doubts on our given list.

-Zero is in, but neither Megaman nor Roll is in.
-Emma Frost got in before any other popular X-Men, beside Wolverine.
-Mr. Fantastic getting in, after they said no FF4 members would make it.
-Spencer. Would they really waste a spot for a character that doesn't have that much popularity due to existing for such a short time. Granted, we have Chuck, but Chuck in because Frank West is in.

No. Spencer is the BIONIC Commando, from the Bionic Commando series. He's a redheaded army soldier with a metal arm that latches onto things and extends.

Captain Commando is the blond guy with cyber-type armor who is supposed to be Capcom's mascot (CAPtain COMmando, get it?) but due to his relative obscurity, Mega Man and Ryu take more mascot time. We really need a new Captain Commando game now that I think of it.

Dudes. That list is fake. No matter what you say. it's fake.
1. Mr. Fantastic has been confirmed to not be in the game in an interview. None of the FF in fact. Which is why we have Super Skrull.
2. Tronne Bonne is seen in the background of the Bonne stage. She's more than likely not in it because of this.
3. Iron Fist is not on the list. His shadow in the new trailer during the Marvel logo pretty much confirms he's in it :P

These lists pop up all the time on 4-chan, fakey news sites, and all that.
Until it's confirmed, these lists are just fake.

The Pose man. Daredevil wouldn't pose like that and so wouldn't Iron First. Plus the video is grainy the one you watch so unless you have a HD one you can watch than that's spidey or someone that would pose like him and would wear something similar to his outfit.

The general issue with PS3 is that people in the same room can't use their own profile. People would have to fight over who logs in and stays logged in for the whole time.

Unless Capcom pulls what LittleBigPlanet did, and allow a profile login per controller, I think I'm going to try to get everyone I know to get 360. I'll most likely fail, but whatever.

• Dormammu (Marvel side) is shown in the new trailer, confirming he's in the game, although he could end up being a boss character and not playable.
