Ozzy Osbourne - Let Me Hear You Scream
New album is great. That is a lie! But you love Zappa and the Mountain Goats, so I'll more than forgive you.
Sonic Youth - "Satan is Boring"
I'm on a marathon here. Five Sonic Youth albums in a row. Oddly enough I included The Eternal without getting to Sister or Dirty. I wish the night was longer so that I could go through those. I guess I'll do it in the morning…

Haha, I kinda like the new one. I'm not that much of an Ozzy fan, but this was nice. Some great guitar play on there. I can understand why some people might not like it though.
And I should listen to Sonic Youth more. What I've heard of them so far was great, but I really need to check out some more of their albums.

Kyuss - Green Thumb

The entire "American Idiot" album by Green Day. I hardly ever listened to their songs, but damn, listening to this CD is like listening to a movie. The entire album is a story. Each song connects. It's a really fun listen.

Who doesn't like Kyuss.I'll admit that I've only listened to a few songs off the album, but they feel pretty poorly written in my mind. It almost feels like the musicians think they're in different songs. That's my opinion, though.
Definitely listen to more Sonic Youth. It's hard to describe how much I love them. At least make sure you have Daydream Nation, Goo and EVOL.
And only weak-willed mortals hate Kyuss. I've never heard of "Green Thumb" though

Listen to Zen Arcade by Hüsker Dü. A MUCH better punk concept album. Absolutely fantastic to the end. I really need to listen to them more, since I used to listen to them constantly.

I'll try those when I have time. Right now I have Dirty and Rather Ripped, and I love them both.
Oh haha, that's pretty bad. I should look at the title of the song when I post. I meant Green Machine of course.

If you get around to listening to that album, tell me what you think. It makes my top 5 punk albums of all time (probably third place behind Is This Real? at #2 and Double Nickels on the Dime reigning supreme).

Amazing song, amazing lyrics, amazing album, amazing band.If you love those two albums, then you'll definitely love the ones I mentioned. Daydream Nation and Goo are essentials for Sonic Youth's discography and EVOL is fantastic as well (you should also look into Sister while you're at it).
And that Mountain Goats song… That album... THAT BAND...I can't consider anyone who would hate the Mountain Goats to be a living organism.
Magyar Posse - "European Lover/Random Avenger"
I'm loving this No Wave exploration.
-
eminem - cold wind blows
