@Gekko135:
funny you said that. I'm currently stuck on a rare battle piece (a 27 firion) going through his story a second time. He uses "double trouble" and "weapon master" and has just been rough as hell with only having the straight arrow HP attack
Well, if you manage to drive him into a corner that would probably be the best place to unleash a straight arrow. As inefficient as the move is, one good thing you can do is charge it (or just hold it, I forgot which) by holding the Square button, so you at least have a little bit of time to prepare for the right shot.
Other than that, try spamming the Reel Axe + Lance Combo and get your HP hits in with chases.
@Gekko135:
it's too bad that the cutscenes have some pretty terrible dialouge. the main characters say some cheesy stuff. definately a far cry from the original material.
Cliche, maybe, but I definitely wouldn't say TERRIBLE.
Quite the contrary actually, I found alot of the dialogue I found to be pretty well written/adapted for what it was, and I do agree that the bad guys had some of the best sequences.
! Theres one scene where Chaos talks to Garland of a dream of him and Cosmos ruling the world together. Chaos had some damn good dialogue there, speaking of how "a dream can be so cruel."
@Captain:
I plan to blow through Story mode as fast as possible. As lame as it'll be to play as the heroes, at least I'll get to see all my favorite villains in the various cutscenes. Few things are more awesome than Exdeath and Kefka sharing a maniacal laugh.
Out of curiosity, is there anyone on the Cosmos side that you think you might like?
